Great Western Railway brass cabside numberplate 5027 ex GWR Collett Castle Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1934 as order number 295 and named Farleigh Castle. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Chester, Stafford Road, Carmarthen and 87F Llanelly from where it was withdrawn from in November 1962 and scrapped at Cashmore's Great Bridge. In original condition. Note we sold the Nameplate in March 2022 and Smokebox numberplate in July 2024 from this locomotive.

London Brighton and South Coast Railway Tyers two position block instrument. Brass plated and enamel plated TO LIFT BRIDGE. In good condition with the front glass missing. stands 18.5in tall. After extensive research we can confirm that this was prob ably from Deptford Wharf box and relates to the New Cross Lift bridge which closed in 1964.

Allocated to Shrewsbury, Cardiff Canton, Swindon, Gloucester Horton Road, Old Oak Common, Laira, Worcester and withdrawn from 81A Old Oak Common in December 1963 and scrapped at Birds Risca. Face restored long ago, rear original and bearing the stampings LIN No 5055 Lot 303 L7006 which confirms this is the left hand plate.

Withdrawn from Bescot Mar 2000 and sold to Fragonset Railways Sep 2 001 for further use. Named at the Fragonset Workshops, Derby without ceremony on 21/11/02. Nameplates were removed Jan 2007 when Fragonset went into administration. Stored until sold to WCRC and moved from Derby to Carnforth. Sold to European Metal Recycling Apr 2008 for scrap but resold to WCRC instead. Has been in store at Carnforth since Jan 2013. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition , measures 32in x 7.5in.
