Smokebox numberplate 77013 ex British Railways Riddles Standard Class 3 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1954. Allocated to Darlington, Whitby, York North, Scarborough and 55B Stourton from where it was withdrawn in March 1966 and scrapped at T W Ward (Beig hton). In face cleaned condition.

Great Western Railway wooden painted railway policeman's truncheon, hand painted GWR with Victorian crown to the top. In very good original condition. Measures 17.25in long.

LMS Hawkseye KING'S HEATH from the former Midland railway station between Camp Hill and Lifford. Cast aluminium measures 48in x 18in. In very good condition with some of the original glass beads present.

London & South Western Railway 3 Aspect Handlamp stamped on the side L&SWR co 77 and brass plated on the reducing cone W&W 77 (Way & works). Complete with original LSWR marked sloping front reservoir. All glasses intact and lightly re stored.

Sold on behalf of Great Western Railway for their chosen charities and comes with an official GWR certificate of authenticity confirming the original owner.

BR(M) FF enamel station sign NOTTINGHAM. In very good ex station condition complete with original wooden mounts, measures 44in x 12in. This style of the sign was used at Nottingham Victoria instead of totems and also at Nottingham Midland alongside t otems.

London Brighton and South Coast Railway Tyers two position block instrument. Brass plated and enamel plated TO LIFT BRIDGE. In good condition with the front glass missing. stands 18.5in tall. After extensive research we can confirm that this was prob ably from Deptford Wharf box and relates to the New Cross Lift bridge which closed in 1964.

Great Western Railway brass cabside numberplate 5611 ex GWR Collett 0-6-2T built at Swindon in 1925. Allocated to 88F Treherbert from where it was withdrawn in January 1963 and scrapped at Cashmore's Newport. Face restored rear original with Treherbe rt painted on.

Diesel radiator plate HUNSLET. Ex LMS 0-6-0 Diesel mechanical, loco number 7052 built 1933 and scrapped Birds Long Marston in 1969 where the plate was rescued. Rectangular cast brass in face cleaned condition, measures 39.75in x 8in.

London & North Eastern Railway enamel station direction sign LNER STATION DURHAM with feathered arrows. From the former North Eastern Railway station between Darlington and Newcastle. Double sided measuring 18.75in x 9.5in. Both sides are in very good displayable condition with the blue enamel repainted. Not many enamels survive from this station as it didn't receive totems.

Built as works number 27800 and delivered new to ACL WCML Electric Traction and withdrawn from CE Crewe Electric in October 1979 and scrapped at BREL Crewe. Diamond shaped cast aluminium in as removed condition with 84008 on the back, measures 9.75in x 4.125in.

White numerals lightly restored rest as removed.

Bombay Baroda & Central Indian Railway teak document box. Brass plated AGENT B.B.& C.I. RAILWAY No 5. The lock is also stamped BB&CIRY. In excellent condition measures 18inx 12in x6.25in. An unusual item from a colonial company incorporat ed in 1855.

Nameplate AVOCET ex British Railways Class 47 originally numbered D1836 becoming 47355 Mar 1974, 47391 Apr 1994 and 47355 Sep 1995. Allocated new to D16 Nottingham Division Apr 1965. Withdrawn from Bescot Mar 2000 and sold to Fragonset Railways Sep 2 001 for further use. Named at the Fragonset Workshops, Derby without ceremony on 21/11/02. Nameplates were removed Jan 2007 when Fragonset went into administration. Stored until sold to WCRC and moved from Derby to Carnforth. Sold to European Metal Recycling Apr 2008 for scrap but resold to WCRC instead. Has been in store at Carnforth since Jan 2013. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition , measures 32in x 7.5in.

GWR general purpose pre grouping handlamp. Steel plated on the front SPV and brass plated on the rear G.W.R. No. GWR SWINDON and sign written B.V. 14. In original condition still retaining some of its red paint and complete with reservoir and burner. Stands 13.5in tall.

All 3 are in lovely ex railway condition but sadly lacking reservoirs and burners and stand 18.5in tall an d all have different pattern Brighton chimney caps. Also with this lot are two BR reservoirs for the standard BR pattern tail lamps. A rare pre grouping trio.

Allocated to Old Oak Common, Newton Abbot, Wrexham Rhosddu, Oswestry and 87A Neath (Court Sart) from where it was withdrawn in December 1963 and scr apped. In nicely face restored condition with boiler and class stampings in the rim. The first of this sub class.
