Kent & East Sussex Railway 7in diameter brass cased Locomotive Pressure Gauge. Red marked at boiler pressure 210lbs per square inch. Face marked S.R. with added K&ESR GAUGE No.5.
Power Station boiler Whistles, a pair. The large one is 12in high with a diameter of 3ins. It is stamped SA 1775 and the word LOW. The small one is 6.25in high with a diameter of 2in. It is stamped SA 1775 and the word HIGH. Both unrestored (2 items )
Shedplate 6C Birkenhead Mollington Street 1935-September 1963 then Croes Newydd September 1963-June 1967. This ex GWR/LNWR Joint shed was home to a wide variety of classes in the 1950 including GWR pre grouping 0-6-0 pannier tanks and Granges as well as the exotic LMS 0-6-0 2F tanks in its total of 100 locos. It became 8H in 1963 when ex GWR shed Croes Newydd formerly 84J then 89B took on this code. Its allocation of around 40 locos continued the 6C tradition of housing former GWR LMS and BR standard classes. Restored front and back.
Shedplate 9A Longsight 1935 - February 1965. This ex LNWR shed was home to130 locos in 1950 which included 13 Royal Scots 15 Jubilees and 7 Patriots. In 1962 the dwindling number of passenger locos was supplemented by an influx of 7 Britannias. Resto red front and back.
Shedplate 9B Stockport Edgeley 1935 - May 1968. The ex LNWR shed at Stockport housed only 25 locos in the 1950s but this increased to 35 during the twilight of steam in the 1960s. Most famous resident was undoubtedly the double chimney Jubilee 45596 Bahamas. Restored front and back.
Shedplate 9E Trafford Park May 1950 - December 1956 then February 1958 - March 1968. This ex Cheshire Lines Railway shed was home to over 70 locos in the 1950s including 6 Jubilees and 8 ex GCR Directors. By 1960 it had also taken on 2 Patriots 7 Roy al Scots and 9 Britannias. However within five years it hosted only a few Stanier Black 5s and 8Fs. Restored front and back.
Shedplate 9F Heaton Mersey 1950 - May 1968. An ex Midland Railway and Cheshire Lines Committee building with an elevated coal stage in Stockport. September 1950 allocation was 64 engines about half from both the LNER and LMS. By April 1965 this had r educed to just 36 engines. Restored front and back.
Shedplate 9G Northwich 1949-February 1958 then Gorton February 1958-June 1965. The ex CLC shed at Northwich housed 40 locos during this period three of which were ex GCR 4-4-0 Directors. It was then recoded 8E in 1958. The ex GCR shed at Gorton was t ransferred from the ER 39A and all 110 of its charges carried the 9G code until closure in 1965. Restored front and back.
Shedplate 67C Ayr 1949-October 1966 for steam. The ex G&SWR shed at Ayr was home to 60 locos in the 1950s but within twelve months of closure this number was down to just 30. Totally unrestored.
Shedplate 65B St. Rollox 1949-November 1966. The ex CR shed was noted for being home to all four named Black 5s in the early 1950s when its allocation numbered around 80 locos. In its final year it had just 13 locos one of them being A4 60031 Golden Plover. Face only restored with the Scottish District shed casting pattern number etc cast into the back.
Shedplate 65A Eastfield 1948-November 1966 for steam. This ex NBR shed housed a star studded allocation of 170 locos in the early 1950s. Of note were K1 K2 and K4 2-6-0s along with D11 and D34 4-4-0s. By 1965 however the total number of steam locos w as down to single figures. Many of Eastfields diesel locos also carried this style of code well in to the 1970s. Face only restored with the Scottish District shed casting pattern number etc cast into the back.
Shedplate 67A Corkerhill 1949-May 1967. This ex GSWR shed had a substantial allocation of around 90 locos during the 1950s most notably a handful of elusive Jubilees. Even with the rundown of steam north of the border it still hosted around 30 locos in its final 18 months as a steam depot. Face only restored with the Scottish District shed casting pattern number etc cast into the back.
Shedplate 55A Leeds Holbeck October 1956-October 1967 closed to steam. The ex MR shed at Holbeck was transferred from the LMR 20A to the NER in 1956. 80 locos were present when this change took place but it is probably the early 1960s that it is well remembered. Its allocation of A3s Jubilees and Royal Scots were often seen working over the Settle and Carlisle line. It also had an allocation of Class 45 Peaks and many of these carried this style of plate. In restored condition.
Shedplate 56B Ardsley October 1956 - October 1965. This former GNR shed was originally in the Eastern Region as 37A and was then transferred to the NER. In late 1959 it had over 60 locos and by 1965 it housed 45 comprising 4 A1s and 8 named B1s. In o riginal condition.
Shedplate 8A Edge Hill 1935-May 1968. This ex LNWR shed was home to over 120 locos during the 1950s which included 12 Patriots 11 Jubilees 10 Royal Scots and 7 Princess Royals. By the mid 1960s only 50 locos remained including the last named Black 5 in service 45156. Face only restored indescernible chalkmarks on rear.
Shedplate 8C Speke Junction 1935-May 1968. This ex LNWR shed had 50 locos in 1950 but by 1959 this had reduced to just 30. However by 1965 this total doubled as it became one of the last steam sheds on Merseyside. Face only restored.
A pair of Desilux Diesel Airhorns the shorter is 14.5in and has some sort of repair carried out by Desilux with one of their branded clips. The longer is 17.5in. (2 items)
East African Railways brass cabside numberplate 1119. Ex Kenya & Uganda Railway ED1 Class 2-6-2T built by the Vulcan Foundry in 1926 and originally numbered KUR 324. Rectangular cast brass face restored measures 17.25in x 6.5in.

A selection of Badges Buttons Keys Signal Box Instrument Plates including a Mid Sussex to Bognor Slow - Southbourne - Worthing - Barnham Bell. Additionally a non-working and lacking second hand BR(S) Pocket Watch. The three ovals capbadges SR Enginem an GWR and LBSCR Loco are modern souvenir items all other items are all genuine.

Worksplate BUILT SWINDON 1952. Locos built in this year were BR Standard Class 4 4-6-0 75012-75019 and BR Standard Class 3 2-6-2 T 82000-82019. Oval cast iron in cleaned condition with a neat weld to the right hand end.

Worksplate North British Locomotive Company Glasgow No 27087 dated 1951 brass diamond. Ex East African Railways EAR Class 29 which was a 2-8-2 locomotive number 2919. Known by the crew as the Nigerian Engine simply because it was a coal burner and no t oil. Slight curve to plate.
