GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway SOUTH BOX LOUTH 3`. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
A pair of Class 508 Worksplates, both oval cast iron. BR York Lot No 30942 1979 (64657 on rear) and BR York Lot No 30948 dated 1979 (71487 on rear). Both totally unrestored. (Sold on behalf of Railway Children Charity)
Single Line alloy Key Token GLANDYFI - YNYSLAS. Ex Cambrian Railways section between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.
Worksplate engraved brass 62009 dated 1948. Ex Peppercorn designed K1 Class 2-6-0 locomotive built by the North British Locomotive Company works number 26613. Released to traffic in June 1949 and allocated to Darlington. Withdrawn from York in Novemb er 1964.
Wooden Destination Board with 13 chocolate & cream enamel indicators. The top is painted `Next Train For Broad Street` and beneath are the destinations. The first is red enamel and states `Not Stopping At` followed by the following:- Brondesbury Park; Brondesbury; West End Lane; Finchley Road; Hampstead Heath; Gospel Oak; Kentish Town; Camden Town; Barnsby; Highbury; Cannonbury; Dalsto. Overall measurements 29" x 28". Excellent condition.
Carriage Print `Immingham Docks` by Frank Mason from the LNER series. In an original type frame.
BR(E) flangeless enamel Doorplate PARCELS AND LEFT LUGGAGE double line measuring 18" x 6". Extremely good condition.
Great Eastern Railway Locomotive Whistle measuring 3½" diameter and standing 11" tall including valve. Nice condition.
GWR C/I Cabside Numberplate 5238. Ex GWR Churchward design 2-8-0T built Swindon August 1924. A South Wales loco all its life being withdrawn from Neath in January 1964. Stamped with loco class along top rim and stamped with boiler class along bottom rim. Cleaned front and back.
Totem BR(M) BULWELL MARKET, H/F. Ex Midland Railway station on the Nottingham to Mansfield route. In excellent condition.
LNER cast iron Doorplate GOODS OFFICE, face restored, rear original.
Shedplate 14A, Cricklewood until May 1973. Unrestored.
LT Station Target Roundel KING`S CROSS ST. PANCRAS. A single enamel piece measuring 25½" square in excellent condition.
GWR steel Locomotive Notice NOT TO BE MOVED.
GWR Single Line Key Token Hoop & Holder, a pair both stamped with company initials and both in full, usable condition.
South Eastern & Chatham Railway Telephone with Morse Tapper. In two distinct sections, the top half has a central brass push button beneath which has the following stamped `SE&CR - ET`. The bottom half has a central recessed mouthpiece and a separate earpiece either side housed in cradles. This section is stamped with the same initials as the top section. Beneath the earpieces is a morse tapper. The whole item is large and the first seen by us.
London Chatham & Dover Railway 5 compartment china Condiment Dish Dish. Company initials are in large block lettering on the side, the French makers name appears on the base. Very nice condition and of considerable scarcity.
Webb & Thompson Single Line Train Staff with brass plates one end ROWFANT - THREE BRIDGES. The section was between Three Bridges and East Grinstead, Rowfant closing in January 1967. Measures 23" in length and is ex signal box condition.
LNER engraved brass Worksplate No 1615 Doncaster 1925. Ex Gresley A3 Pacific 2559 THE TETRARCH, later numbered 528 then 60 and finally by BR 60060. The title has been filled-in by BR as was often the case and the back is clearly stamped 2559 and 60 on the rim as well as the back. Apart from the early years, the loco was a North Eastern favourite rotating several times between Darlington and Gateshead. Withdrawn September 1963Filthy, ex loco condition.
Totem BR(NE) PONTEFRACT, F/F, light tangerine with similar border. Ex NER station in South Yorkshire. Virtually mint condition.
LNER, GER pattern Sliding Knob Handlamp dated 1932 and stamped `TRIMLEY 9`. Fitted with a large brass re-location plate `GN&GE DIGBY S&T`. Complete and tastefully restored.
GN & GER Joint C/I Bridge Diamond, Motor Cars Act 1896 & 1903, small version with all three weight plates still attached. Primed ready for restoration.
Shedplate 55D, Royston until September 1971. Face restored
GWR black-leaf pattern Fruit Bowl standing 5" tall and 9¾" diameter. Marked with 2 `GWR Hotels` roundels, one inside and one outside. The base is marked `Copeland Spode England`. A quite stunning item in virtually mint condition.
LMS Hawkseye GARTH, 48" in length. From the ex L&NWR station between Llandilo and Llandridnod Wells in mid Wales. Ex station condition.
L&NWR wooden Snow Scoop clearly branded with company initials. Together with three Signalbox Flags, the wooden handles clearly branded `L&NWR`.
Loco STOP Lamp Board ex Hornsey MPD, recovered in 1964/64 era. A unusual STOP sign with bracket on one end to fit loco lamp bracket and a small BR-E pie-crust lamp with red bullseye lenses (no interior) the other end. Both sides have the word `STOP` painted and the ghost lettering beneath has `STOP` on one side and a name on the other side. These were affixed to dead locos on shed.
L&SWR Signal Box Plungers comprising:- `PUSH TO RELEASE`; `UP BECKENHAM`; `UP NORWOOD`; cover only `NORWOOD JUNCTION`; bronze ring `PORTER`
Brass Locomotive Bell as removed from Andrew Barclay 1949 built 1928 0-4-0ST named PR ALLEN. The plaque affixed to the mounting plinth reads "this warning bell was part of the loco P R Allen which operated at Castner Kellner works, Runcorn 1928 - 1960". Apparently, all ICI locos had bells fitted to constantly warn of their presence.
Totem BR(W) KINGHAM, H/F with an interesting fitting on rear to enable post top fixing. Ex GWR station on the Oxford to Worcester route, opened by the OWWR in 1855. Totally ex station condition as purchased by the vendor.
GER Handlamp with original location stamped OULTON BROAD 7. Later re-location brass plate `London & North Eastern Railway LINCOLN PASS`. Complete and tastefully restored.
BR(M) enamel Doorplate STAFF ONLY, 18" x 3½". Excellent colour and shine, just a few minor chips.
Worksplate `LMS Built Crewe 1936`, cast brass. Almost certainly ex 5XP Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 Class in the range 45682 to 45742, take your pick. Ex loco condition.
LB&SCR Walkers 12 position Rotary Train Describer (Sending Instrument). The circular enamel plates indicate Victoria, London Bridge, Norwood Junction and Windmill Bridge
Totem BR(S) UPPER WARLINGHAM, F/F light green. Ex LB&SCR station between Croydon and Oxsted. Excellent condition
Leather Cash Bags all brass plated, qty 3 comprising:- LNER MONK FRYSTON WAGES. The station was south of Milford Junction near Leeds and closed in 1959: BR SALARIES SHARLSTON. The station was on the Wakefield, Pontefract and Goole route, opened in 1 869, closed in 1958; BR PONTEFRACT BAGHILL RETURN EMPTY TO MOORTHORPE & S.K. (Swinton & Knottingly) The station is between Pontefract and Swinton.
Worksplate Hudswell Clarke & Co Ltd Leeds number 851 dated 1909. Ex BENTLEY No 2 used at Barber Walker Bentley Colliery. Scrapped in August 1957 with some parts being re-used for the rebuilding of HC 850 No 3.
G&SWR Tyers 2 Position Semaphore Block Instrument and Gong. A substantial item measuring 30¼" x 14½".
Badges, a small collection of desirable items comprising: Great Western Railway circular black & white enamel with gilt lettering number 55; a pair of GWR enamel oval, one numbered 270 the other 566; a similar GWR number 177 with no enamel; GWR W WII Service Badge; BR(W) Totem Capbadge; BR(W) Guard Capbadge, BT(W) Fishtail Porter Capbadge; WR Staff Association; chrome Lion Over Wheel; BR Totem 224; Ian Allan BR(W) Loco Spotters Badge. All are in exceptional condition.
LMS station Hawkseye Sign VULCAN. Ex Warrington and Newton Railway line from Earlestown to Warrington Bank Quay. The halt was opened on 1 November 1916 by the London and North Western Railway to serve the nearby Vulcan Foundry, and closed on 12 June 1965. Measures 48" in length and is in totally ex station with original maroon paint
LNE-C GCR pattern small Handlamp fitted with a brass plate `LNE-C 4573 COAL DEPT GRIMSBY DKS`. Complete and tastefully restored.
Wooden Ground Frame Board ZEALAND SIDINGS FRAME. Measures 59" x 6", red ground with white cast iron letters.

Carriage Print `Bridge Of Balgie, Glen Lyon, Perthshire` by E Lawson from the Scottish series. Loose and in mint condition.
Great Central Railway cast iron Viaduct Plates, a pair, both showing `GCR 288`, one having (27) the other (31). These were the arch numbers of the Nottingham Viaduct near Weekday Cross. Both tastefully restored. Together with a small version GNR No 2 G15 pattern cast iron Bridgeplate.
BR(E) flangeless enamel Doorplate ENQUIRIES measuring 18" x 3½". Extremely good condition.
L&NWR Webb & Thompson steel and brass Train Staff LLANDILO BRIDGE - GOLDEN GROVE. Measures 23" in length with large brass end where the section is embossed. The section was between the first two stops out of Llandilo on the route to Carm arthen.
Worksplate Built Crewe 1962 marked `Ex D1044` on back. Western Hydraulic WESTERN DUCHESS was released to traffic in November 1962 and was withdrawn just 13 years later from Laira in 1975.

Totem, BR(E) LONG MELFORD, H/F. Ex Stour Valley Railway station between Glemsford and Sudbury and also the terminus beyond Lavenham on the Bury St Edmunds Branch. Excellent colour and shine with just a few minor face chips. An exceedingly rare totem, first time at auction.
Original Watercolour & Gouache Painting `The Carlisle Train` by Brian C. Lancaster (1931 - 2005) GRA. RSMA. FRSA. Measures 28½" x 23" in glazed frame. Depicts an evocative view of Gresley A3 60068 SIR VISTO with a named K3 behind at E dinburgh Waverley station. This original painting was used for the limited edition run of prints named `The Flying Scotsman at Edinburgh Waverley.
Locomotive Cabside Numberplate `Statens Jarnvager G11 number 1931 dated 1945`. One of only two class G11 locos used by Swedish Railways. Ex WD 2-8-0 Austerity locomotive built Vulcan Foundry in 1944 under works number 25428. Purchased by the Swedish Railways to evaluate but with the rapid onset of diesel traction, both locos rapidly went into retirement in the 1960`s. This loco was purchased and shipped to the KWVR in 1973. Ex loco condition, 20" x 16½".
Carriage Print, `The Falls, Invermoriston, Inverness-shire` by Kenneth Steel from the Scottish series, 25" x 10". Loose, very slight edge knocks.
South African Railways dual language, brass Cabside Numberplate 4115 GMA. Ex Beyer Garratt GMAM Class 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 locomotive built under sub-contract by the North British Locomotive Co., Glasgow, works number 27773, for South African Railways. Ex loco condition.
Totem BR(S) CLAPHAM JUNCTION, F/F light green. Undeniably the busiest station in Europe, it was built originally by the L&SWR in 1838. Deep colour and shine with one elongated chip right edge noyt affecting face.
A pair of opaque glass Light Fittings recovered from Clapham Junction Booking Hall in the early 1970`s when flouresecent lights were fitted. Each measures 15½" tall and 10½" diameter and stamped into the chrome fitting is `Falks Made In Eng land`. Complete with bulb holders and ceiling fittings these are extremely attractive.
Worksplate Hunslet No 9225 dated 1984. Ex Army 0-6-0 400HP Diesel Shunter number Worksplate Hunslet No 9225 dated 1984. Ex Army 0-6-0 400HP Diesel Shunter number 878, commissioned at Bicester for use in BAOR. Ex loco condition.

Works Numberplate 9" x 5" `London & North Eastern Railway 61269 N.B. Loco Co 1947`. Ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 Locomotive 1269 built December 1947 and allocated to Lincoln. Later BR number 61269 in December 1949. Withdrawn 21st December 1963.
Totem BR(W) GREAT MALVERN, H/F. Ex GWR station, one of three in Malvern, on the Worcester to Hereford route. Excellent condition with deep colour and shine.
