LNER saucer-top Handlamp with brass plate ` London & North Eastern Railway SLEAFORD`. Complete and tastefully restored.
North Eastern Railway 8-inch oak cased iron dial clock with a cast brass bezel manufactured for the NER by Reid & Son of Newcastle upon Tyne circa 1870. The quality early English fusee movement in fully overhauled condition has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders, which are held together by turned barrelled pillars with a central ring, the suspension back cock is also shaped, all of these features point to a movement made in the period 1860 to 1870. The White enamel painted dial rewritten by British Railways Doncaster clock repair works displaying bold Roman numerals and the legend BR 5399. The case is a traditional English drop dial clock case manufactured out of fine figured oak with a turned convex surround affixed to the back box by two battens with three tapered pegs, the back box is of traditional Mid-19th century design with one side access door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn, the side door also still retains some of the original Reid repair numbers. The LNER records show that this clock was last located at Newcastle Dist. Estate Agent Drawing Office at Clavering House, the records also show that this clock was NER number 322 and this number is stamped into the top of the back box. A nice clock that look to have been cleaned and serviced recently, In working condition complete with pendulum and key.
Original Oil Painting on board of Midland Railway Compound 4-6-0 number 1000 by F Moore. Unframed, measuring 15¼" x 11¼". Edge damage from being in a frame and also bottom right corner damage, which barely detracts. Original paintings by th is famous artist/illustrator are extremely rare.

Worksplate Beyer Peacock & Co Ltd 7830 dated 1957. Ex Beyer Garratt GMAM Class 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 locomotive built under sub-contract by the North British Locomotive Co., Glasgow, works number 27773, for South African Railways. Measures 13¾" x 6 ¾" and is in ex loco condition, 4115 painted in red on rear.
LNER `horse-shoe` enamel Lamp Tablet ALNMOUTH with original hanging brackets. Ex NER station between Newcastle and Berwick-on-Tweed, opened on 1 July 1847 as Bilton by the Newcastle and Berwick Railway. Nice condition throughout.
Southern Railway enamel Target BECKENHAM JUNCTION. Excellent condition with good colour and shine. Rear clearly marked `Mead & Maclean Ltd., London.
GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway THORPE CULVERT 3`. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
Ruston Hornsby Lincoln oval brass Makers Plate 17" x 8½" together with a Ruston Paxman Lincoln & Colchester rectangular Builders Plate No 26058 measuring 14½" x 8". Also an alloy Radiator Badge `RH` Ruston & Hornsby 7" ; x 8", a Ruston Radiator Badge 17" x 4" and finally a couple of small Ruston Bucyrus Oil detail plates.
Totem BR(W) HEREFORD, F/F. Ex GWR station one time terminus of the famous Cathedrals Express and on the through route from the North West to South Wales. Small repair to the left hand upright of letter `H` otherwise excellent condition with deep colo ur and shine.
GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `London North Eastern Railway BOSTON 3`. Matching top and bottom numbers 8248Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
GWR Refreshment Department Swindon small Cod Bottle standing 7½" tall. A rare item in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
Shedplate 56A, Wakefield until June 1967. Together with SC plate. On rear painted 42196
BR(S) Running In Board in two halves PADDOCK WOOD. The largest piece measures 68" x 16", the smaller 53" x 16". Good condition, would benefit from a clean.
Manchester Sheffield & Lincoln Railway Sliding Knob Handlamp brass plated `MS&L 3800 BRIGG`. The side case is also embossed `3800`. Complete with the rotating aspect drum also stamped MS&L Ry Co. Tastefully restored.
Tyers single line Train Staff MITCHAM - MERTON PARK. Ex LB&SCR section between Wimbledon and Croydon. Measures 23¼" in length.
GWR mahogany cased LOCK ON / LOCK OFF Indicator. Makers name also stamped in case `Walters Electrical Mfg Co., London`. A rare instrument not seen by us before.
L&NWR cast iron Doorplate LADIES WAITING ROOM measuring 15" x 5½". Original paint, ex Garth station between Llandilo and Llandrindod Wells.
LMS (L&NWR pattern) Station Platform Lamp, the all copper top being stamped `LMS`. Complete with an LMS marked reservoir and burner.
Totem BR(E) DAYBROOK, H/F. Ex GNR station originally a terminus on the line from Nottingham north of Sherwood, opened as Bestwood and Arnold, later Daybrook for Arnold and Bestwood and finally simply Daybrook. Later lines to Basford North and Bulwell Forest were added. Closed in 1960. In excellent condition.
GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway HUBBERTS BRIDGE No 8`. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
GWR Tyers Permissive Block Instrument with sloping face and indicator window above the rotary knob.
Worksplate `LMS Built Horwich 1929`, cast brass. Ex Hughes 2-6-0 Crab number 2815 (as marked on rear) later BR 42815. Predominantly a Crewe loco but saw time at Stockport and Edge Hill. Withdrawn in September 1964. Ex loco condition
LNER wooden sign with the initials `LNER` cut into the wood and gilded. Measures 21" x 10" and came from Nottingham Victoria station where it was hung above the Booking Office ticket window and recovered during demolition.
Great Central Railway mahogany Chair with company initials brass inlaid into the back. Measures 35" tall and has been tastefully re-upholstered in vinyl. Together with a Midland railway example, 34" tall, re-upholstered with red draylon. Co mpany initials carved into the back.
NER mahogany cased Crossing Box Indicator brass plated UP LINE. A neat little instrument with single indicator dominating. Makers name Brittain London stamped on backboard and there is a Test Label dated 11/3/41 inside the case. Good condition.
Single Line steel Key Token PENRITH No 1 CABIN - REDHILLS No 21. This was the first section on the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway after it diverged from the West Coast Mainline south of Penrith.
Ornate sterling silver Jug manufactured by Elkington England, exquisitely engraved "Presented To Mr I. Biddis With A Purse Of Sovereigns By The Officers & Workmen Of The L&NWR Railway Co Carriage Works And A Few Friends As A Mark Of Thei r Esteem & Respect On His Retirement From The Service Wolverton Aug 15th 1870". Standing 5¾" tall it has a floral decoration both sides and a clear 1857 Birmingham Hallmark. A stunning, early item of great L&NWR history.
GWR mahogany cased Home Signal Repeater Instrument brass plated number `55`. Some paint flaking but a nice instrument nevertheless.
Smokebox Numberplate 45535. Ex LMS 4-6-0 Patriot Class Locomotive built Derby 1933 and named in 1937 SIR HERBERT WALKER K.C.B. Converted to 2A Boiler in 1948, known as a `Rebuilt Patriot`. Allocations include Camden, Crewe North and Edge Hill. Withdr awn October 1963. Totally ex loco condition.

North Eastern Railway enamel Doorplate LADIES ROOM, 20" x 8", brown and cream. Chips at bottom three bolt holes not affecting lettering, otherwise excellent. As recovered from Scruton station between Leeming Bar and Ainderby in Wensleydale. The station closed in 1954
North Eastern Railway fully titled C/I Luggage Trolley Plate `To Carry 1½ Tons` and a similar `To Carry 10 Cwt`. Together with a nickel plated brass small Shunters Horn stamped `LNER`
