GNR Signal Lamp Cases x 2 one plated HUCKNALL the other plated LEEN V.J. (Valley Junction).
Fletcher 15 position electric Pegging Train Describer plated MILES PLATTING JUNCTION GOODS. Cast iron case mounted on wooden plinth and retaining the brass key on chain.
L&YR Tyers Co-Operative Permissive Block Instrument brass plated FEATHERSTONE COLLy. Featherstone is west of Pontefract on the ex LYR line to Wakefield.
Single Line Key Token POTTINGTON - BARNSTAPLE TOWN No 28. All brass construction with the lettering background painted red. This short section was along the banks of the river Taw.
Totem BR(S) RAVENSBOURNE, F/F light green. Ex SECR between Nunhead and Shortlands. A couple of small chips that have been restored.
GCR mahogany cased Block Bell with offset Tapper. Split case with opening hook at front, the `sheep-bell` on top. Ivorine plated GREASEBORO ROAD LOOP on face indicates this came from just north of Rotherham in West Yorkshire.
GWR Cabside Numberplate 4103. Ex GWR Collett designed 2-6-2T Prairie Tank built Swindon Works 1935. Initial allocation was Tyseley followed by Leamington and Oxford. Withdrawn from Bristol Barrow Road in September 1964. Cast iron construction, pretty well ex loco condition.
Carriage Print `Tewkesbury` by Claude Buckle from the LMR series. Loose and in mint condition.
East & West Junction Railway Handbill `Stratford Mop & Ox Roasting on Monday 13th October 1890. Measures 8½" x 5½" and is a rare survivor in virtually mint condition
Totem BR(S) ROTHERFIELD & MARKS CROSS, F/F, dark green. Ex LB&SCR station that was on the Cuckoo Line between Eridge and Mayfield, closed in 1965. Deep colour and shine, no chips or real defects. A scarce totem from this long lost but not for gotten line.
GCR small cart-style Handlamp with ornate brass plate on rear stamped `GRIMSBY DOCKS`. Bullseye front lens with two flat, clear lenses either side. A very nice little lamp indeed.
Industrial Nameplate ATLAS No 15 together with matching Worksplate R&W Hawthorn Leslie & Co. Engineers Newcastle - Tyne England No 2464 dated 1900. Ex 0-4-0ST with Outside Cylinders, new to John Brown & Co. Alwark Main Colliery, Rotherham . Scrapped in 1969. The plate is 41" in length and is tastefully mounted together with the Worksplate on a wooden display board.
BR(S) enamel Sign `PLATFORM 1`, F/F measuring 9" x 9". Dark green, excellent colour and shine and quite an unusual size.
Golden Arrow embelishment as fitted to Class 71 locomotives in the post steam era. Fibreglass construction with a green composite back measuring 60" in length. Complete with the steel brackets used to affix to the class 71 locos. Purchased from Collectors Corner in the 1970`s, quite wonderful.
Carriage Print `Loch Katrine & Ben Venue, Perthshire` by Jack Meriott from the Scottish series. In an original type glazed frame.
BR(W) enamel Platform Sign TRAIN ENQUIRIES F/F 29" x 9". Deep colour and shine, a few defects doesn`t detract from this unusual scarcity.
LNER cast iron Doorplate BOOKING HALL, face restored, rear original.
GWR Platform Seat with three GWR Roundel supports. Approx 10` in length although the wood is in need of replacement. To be collected by the Buyer from North Somerset area in liaison with us.
Cabside Numberplate 9448. Ex BR 0-6-0PT built in 1951 by Robert Stephenson Hawthorn Ltd., Darlington and allocated to Neath for its entire working life. Withdrawn in July 1962. This brass contractor built plate still retains a couple of original bolt s.
Nameplate SIR PRIANIUS. Ex Southern Railway King Arthur Class 4-6-0 `Scotch Arthur` locomotive, built by the North British Locomotive Co Glasgow in June 1925.Originally numbered 770, it was later renumbered by BR to 30770. Latter years spent between Eastleigh and Basingstoke, withdrawn November 1962. Measures 39¼" in length, face restored, rear ex loco and clearly stamped with the original number 770. Interestingly, this name was in fact a spelling mistake, the Knight`s name was Sir Priamus.
LNER single pie-crust Handlamp with brass plate `London & North Eastern Railway LEADENHAM 4`. Complete and tastefully restored
Gauge 1 Locomotive of 4-4-0 Caledonian Railways No 124. An extremely attractive and well constructed model, possibly scratch built. Tastefully mounted on track in a glass display cabinet measuring 29" x 10" x 8". The loco lacks a motor . Note, the original loco was built by Dubs in 1886 in time for the Edinburgh International Exhibition.
Glass globes qty 27 including Pyrex Sugg Mexican Hat Glass Globes, qty 9 for the small Platform Lamps measuring 6½" tall x 4¾" diameter, 2 tall platform lamp chimneys LNWR style, 2 small platform lamp chimneys, 2 GWR style platform lamp chi mneys 6½" tall x 3½" diameter, 11 various other glass Globes including one for a large Sugg `Mexican Hat` Platform Lamp 7” tall x 7” diameter, all ex Llandrindod Wells.
NER mahogany cased Telegraph Instrument with front shelf and handle intact. Simple mechanism working needle indicator left and right.
GWR enamel Notice regarding Steam Rollers, Traction Engines etc....Felix Pole Manager. Measures 14¼" x 10", white on deep blue ground. Extremely good condition with minor chips only/
Totem BR(S) WEST DULWICH, H/F dark green. Ex SECR station between Herne Hill and Beckenham. Excellent condition.
Tyers glass cased Fogman`s Repeater with original brass plate DOWN STARTER. Nicely cleaned.
L&NWR and MR Bridgeplate No 3. A grade 1, probably unique bridgeplate from the Ashby & Nuneaton Joint Line. The others known have the company initials the other way around. Face only restored.
Framed & glazed Signal Box Diagram `EAST HOLMES`. The box opened in 1873 and is situated in Lincoln. It is the second oldest GNR box to survive, the earliest being Barnby Moor & Sutton which opened in 1872. Survives in original frame.
BR(W) Totem BIRMINGHAM SNOW HILL, F/F. Ex GWR station in the heart of the second capital. Good condition.
GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway SPALDING BOX 2`. Fitted with a steel re-location plate BLUNTISHAM. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
Smokebox Numberplate 4124. Ex Collett designed GWR 2-6-2T built Swindon January 1928. An early Worcester loco re-allocated to South Wales only to return to Worcester from where withdrawal took place in August 1964.
Worksplate Built Swindon 1964. Ex Type 14 0-6-0 Diesel D95XX Loco in the range D9500 to D9524.
LB&SCR Walkers 12 position Rotary Train Describer (Receiving Instrument). The circular enamel plates indicate Victoria, London Bridge, Norwood Junction and Windmill Bridge
Fibre Tablet MOORHOUSE - WRANGBROOK JCT. The section was on the H&BR to Wath-on-Dearne.
Signal Box Diagram EVERTON housed in original frame as used in the signal box. Measuring 39" x 16", this hand coloured diagram shows `From York` one end and `To Kings Cross` the other. Locally it shows Sandy Down Main Advance Starter. Some foxing and damage but still extremely desirable.
Great Central Railway Police Truncheon. Simple design with the exception one half is ordinary hardwood, the other appears to be ebony. Measuring 15" in length, it is stamped GCR it retains the original leather strap.
GWR green ½ pint Beer Bottle nicely embossed GWR Hotels Dept Bristol. Standing 9" tall, it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks whatsoever.
LMS enamel Lamp Tablet DAISYFIELD. EX LYR station between Ramsgreave & Wilpshire and Blackburn, opened in 1862 and closed by BR in 1958. Measures 16" x 4½" and is in virtually mint condition.
Totem BR(W) CHELTENHAM SPA LANSDOWN, H/F. Ex Midland Railway station, on the Birmingham to Gloucester line, the only surviving station out of three built in this Regency Town. A scarce totem with some restoration

Shedplate 33B Tilbury until September 1962. Totally ex loco condition. Only ever once before at auction.
Nameplate CASTELL CAERFFILI - CAERPHILLY CASTLE. Ex 47614, built by Brush under works number 691 in 1966 and numbered D1929. Renumbered 47252 in March 1974 and later 47615 in June 1984. Named at Caerphilly station in April 1985 as part of the GWR 150 th Anniversary. Swindon casting in ex loco condition it measures 65" x 17¾" and comes with a DB Schenker Certificate of Authenticity.
Worksplate `Sir W.G. Armstrong Whitworth & Co (Engineers) Ltd No 1197 1935 Scotswood Works, Newcastle-on-Tyne`. Ex Stanier 4-6-0 Black 5 locomotive originally numbered 5156, later 45156 by British Railways. Named in July 1935 AYRSHIRE YEOMANRY a nd was one of only 4 Black 5`s to carry a name. Allocations include St Rollox, Newton Heath, Bolton, Warrington and Patricroft. Withdrawn from Rose Grove right at the end of steam in August 1968.
BR(E) enamel Station Direction Sign with British Railways in totem at top.
Smokebox Numberplate 63926. Ex LNER 2-8-0 Gresley Class O2 locomotive built by the North British Locomotive Company in June 1921 under works number 22695. A much travelled loco starting at New England and then Doncaster, Colwick, Langwith Junction an d Retford. Withdrawn in September 1963. Totally ex loco condition.
BR(M) 8" Smiths Clock No 22990 with going barrel movement housed in an oak case. Complete with key and in working order. Originated from the Nottingham area.
Midland Railway Rotary Block Instrument. Rear board is stamped on the top MRCo 1912 and the casing, probably replaced at a later date is stamped twice MRCo 1915. Has LMS repair labels stuck over original MR labels.
LNER, small GNR double pie-crust pattern Handlamp brass plated `London & North Eastern Railway DONCASTER MIN` (mineral). Complete and tastefully restored.
LNER 9 x 5 brass Tenderplate London & North Eastern Railway number 8535 Beyer Peacock & Co Ltd 1908. Ex Class J27 0-6-0 tender originally attached to a loco in the series 65840 –65859 (Beyer Peacock Nos.5104 – 5123). Face restored , rear ex loco.
LB&SCR Sykes Double Line Block Instrument with Up Line Indicator attached to the mahogany top and the main dial showing Down Line. Enamel plated SHOREHAM. A very nice example indeed.
A pair of Midland Railway Block Instruments, one a Pegger, the other a non-Pegger. Both have the usual enamel dials which are in excellent condition, and both are stamped on the roof `MR Co` twice. The accompanying receipts from BR show that these we re definitely ex Bath Green Park Signal Box.
Nameplate HADRIAN. Ex Brush Type 4 Co-Co Class 47 number D1503, later 47404. Built by Brush and introduced December 1962 with initial allocation Finsbury Park to work the East Coast Mainline. Named in March 1982. Withdrawn 6 June 1987. Face restored.
Live Steam 5" Gauge of GWR Armstrong Goods 388 Class 0-6-0 Tender Locomotive number 673.An extremely well made model, last steamed in 1989 so no current boiler certificate.
LNER cast iron Doorplate GENERAL WAITING ROOM, face restored, rear original.
L&YR Double Line Absolute Block Instrument with distinctive two window design, push button within a knob beneath and a small switch to the left which when operated, Train Waiting flag shows in a small window bottom indicator. Good condition.
Totem BR(E) HERTFORD EAST, H/F. Ex GER station and terminus of the branch from Ware. Some restoration but a rare totem having only been at auction a couple of times previous, possibly the same one.
Live Steam 2½" Gauge of LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 Tender Locomotive number 4771 GREN ARROW. A well constructed model, last steamed in 1989 so no current boiler certificate.
