Smokebox Numberplate 62032. Ex Peppercorn K1 2-6-0 locomotive built by the North British Locomotive Company under works number 26636 in August 1949 and allocated to March. Withdrawn from Frodingham in September 1963. Totally ex loco condition.
Totem BR(E) ROLLESTON JUNCTION, H/F. Situated between Nottingham and Lincoln and one time junction terminus from Southwell. In excellent condition with minor edge chipping.
GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway SAXILBY No 3`. Fitted with a steel re-location plate SAXHAM. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
GWR wood cased 1947 Thompson Permissive Block Instrument with single dial and lower knob having a back plate for the 3 positions, beneath which is a push button. Together with GWR 1947 Thompson Double Line Block Instrument. Complete with flaps either side of the central knob. Good condition except the back wood has split. Finally with a British Railways plastic `tower` Double Line Block Instrument. Good condition.
Tyers alloy Single Line Tablet MALTBY COLLIERY NORTH - MALTBY COLLIERY SOUTH No 12. The section was south of Doncaster on the South Yorkshire Joint Line.
GER small enamel Doorplate LIVE DOG WITH CARE measuring 6" x 4". White lettering on blue ground with white inside border. A great scarcity in extremely good condition.
North Eastern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased English dial fusee clock LNER 6284. The good quality chain driven fusee movement has recently been cleaned and overhauled and the backplate is stamped NER 1027 , the mahogany case is also stamped NER 1027. The LNER clock records show this clock as being last in use at Tyne Dock, Police Parade Room. A nicely restored railway clock In full working condition complete with Pendulum, key, a copy of the original British Rail collectors corner receipt and information on its location.
A nice collection of brown earthenware items comprising: a pair of Great Northern Railway Teapots; a pair of Great Northern Railway Milk Jugs; a pair of LNER Refreshment Department Tea Pots - one small one large; a pair of LNER Milk Jugs; a Midland R ailway Hotels Milk Jug. Most in extremely good condition.
Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway oak Letter/Leaflet Rack with company initials in gold leaf along bottom face. Has 4 compartments and measures 10½" x 9½" x 4¼". It also has company initials stamped into the wood top centre.
Original Oil Painting `On Shed` by RJ Revill dated 1986. An evocative depiction of Hall Class 5945 LECKHAMPTON HALL alongside GWR Heavy Freight 2-8-0 Loco 4215 on what looks like Reading MPD. Oil on canvas measuring 39½" x 23½" including fr ame.
GWR mahogany cased Block Bell with front Tapper, `church bell` atop. Case and top stamped `574` and GWR appears above the Tapper. Excellent condition.
Totem BR(M) BASFORD VERNON, H/F. Ex Midland Railway station on the Nottingham to Mansfield route, closed October 1964. In excellent condition.

LNER wooden Lamp Yolk exquisitely painted `HUCKNALL`. Complete with both metal hangers.
Whittaker Automatic Tablet Catcher Apparatus as fitted to M&GN locos, this one embossed `BR`. A great rarity indeed.
Worksplate Super Sentinel Waggon Works Ltd Shrewsbury number 8837. Ex Standard Gauge LNER Class Y1/2 4-Wheeled Geared Tank loco which entered service in December 1933. It was originally numbered 59 but in October 1946 was renumbered 8153 and then in June 1951 under BR it became 68153. It was taken into Departmental stock in October 1954 and was again renumbered this time to 54. It spent its main line career working for the Permanent Way Department at Darlington. Three months after its withdrawal in June 1961 it was acquired by the Middleton Railway at Leeds where it can still be found today.Rear stamped S 310, it is totally ex loco condition.
Tyers No 6 Tablet Machine complete with Cupboard. A substantial wood and cast iron instrument brass plated `Tyers Patent/Train Tablet Apparatus, London`. Below the plate is an aperture showing the number of tablets present to a maximum of 15. To be s old from site near Carmarthen through arrangements with ourselves.
LNER Works Numberplate `London & North Eastern Railway No 60800 Doncaster 1936`. Ex Gresley V2 locomotive GREEN ARROW. Released to traffic in June 1936 and numbered 4771. Re-numbered 800 in November 1946 and finally 60800 in February 1949. Predom inantly a King Cross loco. Withdrawn in August 1962.
Pembroke & Tenby Railway metal Letter/Deed Box 18¼" x 14" x 11½". Painted in gold lettering with full title on hinged lid, it comes complete with key.
Numberplate cut from unit 508210 during its disposal by scrapping at Eastleigh works in summer 2013.Unit built 1979 at York. Ran with BR, and Merseyrail as 508129, before being transferred to the South Eastern to run as 508210. (considered to be the first EMU/Electric Multiple Unit set number ever auctioned - Sold on behalf of Railway Children Charity)
Taff Vale Railway cast iron Trespass Notice, double sided with integral post mounting fixing sleeve. Both sides restored.
Nameplate CITY OF DISCOVERY measuring 35½" x 6". Ex HST Power Car 43041 and named at Dundee station on 27/06/90 by Tom Mitchell Lord Provost and Cllr George Buckman of Tayside Regional Council. Named while working 09.55 Aberdeen-Kings Cr oss as part of a joint venture with ‘Granite City’. (Sold on behalf of Railway Children Charity)

LMS Lorry Lamps, a pair comprising one front with clear lens and one rear with red lens. Both are embossed on the top `LMS` and the clear lens one has half the lens blacked ready for the wartime black-out.
Single Line alloy Key Token ABERGWILLI JCN - BRONWYDD. This section was on the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth route.
Cabside Numberplate 4919. Ex GWR 4-6-0 `Hall Class` Locomotive built Swindon March 1929. Allocated to Old Oak Common and in 1950 to Shrewsbury staying there for almost a decade. Moved back to Old Oak Common and finally to Worcester from where withdra wal took place in October 1964. Scrapped at Steel Supply Co., Swansea. Ex loco condition.
GER Sliding Knob Handlamp with original GER reservoir plated `LNER LINCOLN`. Complete and tastefully restored.
Midland Railway Lamp Post with Lamp fixed to top (lacks finial). Retains both ladder bars and sits 91" above the ground. To be uplifted and collected through liaison with us from a location near Mansfield.

GWR mahogany cased Block Bell with front Tapper. A compact instrument, the underside of which is stamped `"GLOUCS 5". Above the Tapper an be seen the company initials `GWR` but the number beneath that has been worn by use.

4 original lithographic GWR Chad Valley Jigsaw prints , Totnes 17.25 x 11.5” Oxford 23.25 x 15.75 . Romans at Caerleon 14 x 14 and Drake Goes West 23.25 x 15.75 , all in virtually mint condition and remarkable survivors. These would have been glued onto the plywood base before cutting with the Jigsaw.

L&NWR cast iron Signal Box Lever Plates, qty 12 each containing a description of the lever embossed. Ex box condition. Also qty 5 others.
GWR raised border, pre-grouping cast iron Doorplate LADIES ROOM.
L&NWR Double Line Sending/Receiving Block Instrument. Not plated but when the right hand key is operated to open the lower front door to expose the commutator, a couple of internal wires has identification tags showing `DN GLOUC BS` and `DN GLOU C BK`. There is an original test label behind the indicator dated 2/5/28. A nice instrument despite the top indicator being faded. Quite how the GLOUC labels came to be attached is a mystery.
Great Central Railway Company spirit glass together with a Great Northern Railway Refreshment Department tumbler and an LMS Cars tumbler. All in excellent condition,
Brass cased Banner Repeater with integral, right-angled mounting bracket. No description plate and front glass cracked. Also a brass cased circular Track Indicator and a bakelite cased Weight Bar Indicator and a bakelite cased S.R. Signal Indicator ( 4 items)
Brass Locomotive Whistle measuring 10¼" high to top of ornate finial and 2¼" diameter. It has a wood handled operating lever.
Midland Railway mahogany cased Block Bell with front Tapper. An old instrument bearing a couple of original Midland Railway Test Labels dated 22/10/79 (1879). Good, ex box condition.
LNER, GER pattern Sliding Knob Handlamp dated 1939 and stamped `STOWMARKET 41`. Complete and tastefully restored.
Midland Railway C/I sign `Stick No Bills`, 17" x 8½" with scalloped corners. Excellent condition. Together with a Midland Railway C/I sign `Stick No Bills`, 31½" 7¼" with scalloped corners. Excellent condition and another, probabl y not railway, C/I Notice `Bill Posters Will Be Prosecuted`. Measures 16½ x 7¾" with double raised border.Finally, Great Central Railway `Notice Bill Posters Will Be Prosecuted - By Order.
