Enamel Advertising Finger Door push Plate `Spratts Bonio - Mixed Ovals and Weetmeet`. Scottie Dog shaped logo at the top, this quite delightful sign measures just 8" x 2 3/4" and is in excellent condition.
Enamel Advertising Sign `Fry`s Milk Chocolate` 5 Boys measuring 17½" x 11½". This is the rare white with blue lettering version. Extremely good condition with no restoration.

North British Locomotive Company Glasgow brass diamond Worksplate No 26952. Ex 3 ft 6 ins Gauge Sudan Government Railways 2-8-2 Class 310 No. 318 one of a batch of nineteen. It is understood that the Class operated into the 1970s but appear to have gone by the end of the century.
GWR Hotels Milk Jug with roundel on side, manufactured by Bishop, England. Excellent condition
Smokebox Numberplate 45064. Ex Stanier Black 5 locomotive built by the Vulcan Foundry under works number 4609 in 1935. A much travelled loco, allocations include Crewe, Bescot, Stourbridge Junction, Newton Heath, Farnley Junction, Derby, Shrewsbury, Edge Hill, Willesden, Northampton, Bletchley and Llandudno Junction. Withdrawn March 1967 and sold Cohen of Morriston. Sent 13/9/67and Chester.
BR(W) enamel Station Direction Sign `STATION` sign with right facing arrow, British Railways totem logo at top. Small amount of well executed restoration.
Worksplate 9" x 5" London & North Eastern Railway Darlington Works 1889 with number ground off but having a brass strip number 68251. The worksplate is cast iron, the strip is brass. Ex J71 0-6-0 Tank Locomotive, originally numbered 501 , later 8251 and finally 68251.
Totem BR(M) KIRKBY IN ASHFIELD, F/F. Ex Midland Railway station between Nottingham and Worksop. In good condition with one small repair in the top panel
LNER double dial Level Crossing Indicator showing down line and up line train in section and train approaching section. Good overall condition some flaking to face. Wooden case stamped "LNER 57".
LMS Signalbox Board THE OAKS, 48" x 10". The Box was situated between Astley Bridge Junction and Birtenshaw on the Bolton to Darwen line. Ex box condition.
LMS Tenderplate 10028 1943. Ex Stanier 8F locomotive number 48301 which was built at Crewe Works in 1943 and allocated to Wellingborough, Kettering and Leicester Midland to name but a few.
Bulleid Merchant Navy original front smokebox design mock up in wood and brass of a 6 spoke Ship`s Wheel. Crafted at Eastleigh, this was to be the design adopted for the Merchant Navy class locomotives but it never reached fruition. Measures 15" across. A significant piece of Southern Railway history. Together with the original wooden model of a `hexagon - pentagon` Crank Pin Locking Nut and annotated notes/diagrams as designed by Reginald Curl. In the book `Bulleid Of The Southern` by HAV Bulleid, page 119 has an interesting anecdote from OV Bulleid himself about this very item.
Nameplate SWAZILAND, ex Stanier `Jubilee` 4-6-0 class number 45630. Built Crewe November 1934, allocations include Preston, Carlisle, Edge Hill and Crewe North. Withdrawn in November 1961 and cut up at Crewe.
Original Oil Painting `Jubilee 45664 NELSON exiting Knighton Tunnel Leicestershire` by David Weston (1935 - 2011). Tastefully framed, the image size is 30" x 22", signed by the artist and dated 1979.

Published by the Railway Executive (Eastern Region) pr inted by Waddington. Folds (some minor break-through) with minor edge damage, a small area of margin tear and some small pin marks, overall very good.
Poster BR `Service To Industry - Paper Making` by Ellis Silas, quad royal size 40" x 50". An image of the inside of a paper rolling mill and a steam loco outside the window. Published by the Railway Executive (Scottish Region) printed by Wa terlow. Folds (very minor break-through) and some tape marks, otherwise very good.
Poster BR `Service To Industry - Shipbuilding` by Norman Hepple, quad royal size 40" x 50". Depicts a busy shipyard with a ship under construction and a large loco steaming on the left. Published by the Railway Executive North Eastern Regio n, printed by Haycock. Folds, very minor edge loss along top margin and a few small pin holes, otherwise very good.
Poster BR `Northern Ireland - The Giants Causeway` by Lander, double royal size 40" x 25". Dramatic view of the Amphitheatre with a small rowing boat in the foreground completely dwarfed by the sheer scale of the Causeway. Published by the Railway Executive London Midland Region, printed by Waterlow. Fold and some tape marks mostly around the edge but impinging the image in places.

All have been damaged through cutting out the totem logos or the written detail. The images are in the main fine so could be used for repairs to other posters, certainly worth salvaging.

Totem, BR(M) GREAT BRIDGE NORTH, F/F. Ex L&NWR station between Dudley and Wednesbury. Opened in 1850 by the South Staffordshire Railway. By the late 1800`s it was evident that passenger services weren`t as viable as freight services but it remain ed open until 1964 Good colour and shine with a few chips within the white border. A scarce totem indeed.

Taff Vale Railway fully titled cast iron Notice `No Public Road Over This Crossing - Trespassers Will Be Prosecuted". Measures 12¾" 21¾", unrestored.
GWR cast iron Cabside Numberplate 4137. Ex GWR 2-6-2 Prairie Tank built Swindon November 1939 and allocated new to Severn Tunnel Junction. Had a spell at Newport but ended up back at Severn Tunnel from where withdrawal took place week ending 3/10/64. Sold to Steel Supply (Western) of Swansea on 19/11/64 . Totally ex loco condition.
A pair of interesting, alloy Notices, one in English and one in Welsh. English text reads `Limited Clearance Do Not Walk Along The Line`. Most likely ex Colliery Sidings or the like. Ex lineside condition, most unusual.
Worksplate Hudswell Clarke & Co Ltd Railway Foundry Leeds No 1213 dated 1916. Oval engraved brass measuring 13" x 8¼" approximately. Standard Gauge 0-6-0ST which went new to the Wombwell Colliery Company at Wombwell Main Colliery as the ir No.1. Transferred to the National Coal Board on 1 January 1947 and remained at Wombwell until scrapped there in about September 1965.
BR(M) enamel Station Fascia Sign in two halves measuring 102" x 28½" and 102" x 21".Top half is `British Railways Provide The Premier Routes Between Eire & England Via Rosslare - Fishguard And Via Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead`. Bo ttom half is `Tickets Issued Accommodation Reserved and Full Information Supplied at Enquiry Office, 98 St Patrick Street Cork Tel Cork 20043`. Originated from Cobh station Cork.
GWR Jigsaw Puzzle `Lost In Transit` 15" x 10" with original box and small pamphlet showing picture. Made up on card to show completeness and the excellent condition. The box is also excellent with only minor rubs to edge, label intact. The rarest of all GWR Puzzles, this one is card and was issued to certain GWR Staff.
Original Oil Painting `Last Days At Rose Grove` by Joe Townend (GRA), 24" x 18" unframed on stretcher. Depicts an atmospheric scene with Stanier Black 5 number 44777 in the foreground and Stanier 8F number 48493 behind.
Class 56 worksplate Doncaster 1979. The pink undercoat on the rear suggests this was fitted to an aluminium cab and since 56054 and 56055 were the only 2 built in 1979 with this style of cab, one can safely assume the plate is from either of these 2 locomotives. BR(Sc) enamel Station Direction Sign HYNDLAND STATION with right facing arrow beneath and the British Railways totem logo at the top. The station lies between Partick and Jordan Hill on the Glasgow Queen Street Argyle & North Clyde line. Measures 28¼" x 13¼" and is in pristine condition.
London Brighton & South Coast Railway Handlamp complete with original rape oil LB&SCR Reservoir. In totally original condition and stamped `LB&SCR` on the side and on the reducing cone. Also has the full titled brass plate.
L&SWR wooden Running - In - Board MEDSTEAD & FOUR MARKS. Measures 27½" x 59". In good, undamaged condition.
Great Eastern Railway brass Locomotive Whistle standing a full 16½" from base to top of ornate finial. An excellent example.

Single Line steel Key Token EMBLETON - COCKERMOUTH STATION No 19 . Ex Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway which closed in 1966 being the last section after Bassenthwaite Lake.
Pullman Lamp ex 1st Class Car PEGGY complete with original pink shade. Octagonal base clearly stamped `PEGGY` with ornate finial on top. In ex car condition, with no shade cracks. A delightful example.
Original Oil Painting `46466 arrives at Halstead` by Malcolm Root (GRA). Measuring 25½" x 17½" in frame, this evocative scene circa late 1950`s on the Colne Valley line is a quite superb execution by this well known railway artist. Reputed ly there is no photographic record nor prints of this painting.
GWR cast iron rectangular Craneplate `G.W.R LOCO DEPT No 340, measuring 10¾" x 5¾", white on black ground.
Worksplate ex Class 25 from a 1967 loco but with a 1966 style plate measuring 13" x 6½", with the last `6` being ground off. Only 10 locos were built in 1967 being D7667 – D7677. The 1966 plates are different in style to the rest of the years. Face restored, rear ex loco.
Smokebox Numberplate 63384. Ex NER Q6 locomotive built Darlington Works in October 1917. Originally allocated to Borough Gardens, it travelled far and wide including Doncaster, Hartlepool, Neville Hill, Blaydon, Newport NER and Tyne Dock. Withdrawn J anuary 1966 and sold to Clayton Davie of Gateshead .

Carriage Print `Hampshire Coast - Go BY Train` by Langhammer. In an original glazed frame.
Nameplate EUROPEAN COMMUNITY. Ex BR/EE 25kv Bo-Bo Class 86 originally numbered E3116 and built by BR Doncaster in October 1965. Renumbered 86238 under TOPS in February 1974 and named by Rt Hon Edward Heath at Liverpool Street station on 21st April 19 86. Directly after naming, it worked a special from Liverpool Street to Harwich for the maiden voyage of the Sealink Ferry "Koningen Beatrix". Scrapped in 2005 at Boreham Scrap Co, Boreham. Newton pattern measuring 80¾" x 9¾".
BR(M) enamel Signalbox Board DARWEN No1, 60" x 10". Ex LYR station on the defunct Ribble Valley Line between Spring Vale and Lower Darwen however the station is still functional on the Blackburn Entwistle route. The signal box was situated on the Up Platform of the station. Faded but little damage.
Smokebox Numberplate 43242. Ex Midland Railway 3F class 0-6-0 locomotive built 1890 Derby Works. Allocations include Staveley, Kirkby -in-Ashfield, Toton and finally Saltley. Withdrawn August 1962 and cut up at Derby 9/10.62 .
GWR brass Signal Box Shelf Plate TO S&D LOCO BOX. Ex `Highbridge West` box on the Bristol to Taunton main line , opened by the GWR in 1914 to control the flat crossing of the S&D J Rly across it own metals. The S&D had a signal box either side if the crossing and had control interlocked with the GWR West Box. The two boxes being `B Box` and `Loco Box`. Post nationalisation the S&D boxes were re-named, with `Highbridge B` becoming `Highbridge East B` (closed 16th May 1965) and `Loco Box` becoming `Highbridge East C`. This plate came from the GWR Box around 1948 being replaced by Ivorine Shelf Plates with the new descriptions.
