Smokebox Numberplate 67735. Ex LNER 2-6-4 T Thompson L1 Class Locomotive. Built by North British Locomotive Company, Glasgow, Works Number 26574. Introduced November 1948. A well known Stratford loco, it was withdrawn September 1962. Face restored.
GNR 8" mahogany cased, Fusee Clock by John Walker. Supplied to the GNR with pre-grouping number 789, in the late 19th century. Original cast bezel (no glass) & pendulum. No key but has been wound and appears to be in working order. The dial has been re-written in Arabic style showing `BR` and the number 9648. Records show that this was from the Booking Office at Finsbury Park station.
L&NWR `Places Of Interest - Euston 1899` framed Advertising Panel measuring 68" wide x 41" tall. The card inserts, of which there are 12, comprises:- South Stack Lighthouse, Post Dinorwic, Port Aberglaslyn, Pont-Y-Fair, Carnarvon Castle , Conway Castle, Warwick, Leamington, Old Mill Warwick, Guy`s Cliff House, Kenilworth castle, Warwick Castle.
BR Poster `Gloucester Cathedral` by Claude Buckle double royal size 40" x 25". Dominated by the cathedral, the lower part has the crowning of King Henry III.
BR Poster The Wye Valley` by Gyrth Russell, quad royal size 50" x 40". A view through the Symonds Yat area broken only by a few boaters and swans. Published by BR Western Region and printed by Waterlow & Sons. Folds otherwise good cond ition.
BR Poster, `Inverness - The Capital of the Scottish Highlands` by Lance Cattermole, quad royal size 40" x 50". A vibrant image of the Queen`s own Cameron Highlanders marching along Ness Walk. Published by BR Scottish Region and printed by T he Baynard Press. Many folds but overall good.
BR Poster `Festiniog Railway` by Cuneo, quad royal size 50" x 40". Depicts Linda in the loop whilst another train overtakes in the opposite direction. Good condition overall.

Poster Chemins de Fer de L`Etat et de Brighton (French State Railways & Brighton Railways) `Paris a Londres par Rouen, Dieppe & Newhaven - Departs Tout Les Jours matin et soir de la Gare St Lazare` by Maurie Toussaint, double royal size 40&qu ot; x 25" on canvas, circa 1907. A very early poster depicting a classic Horse Guards Parade in London with a small window bottom left showing 1st, 2nd and 3rd class fares. Slight repair bottom margin otherwise very good for age although the linen edges are fraying a little.
Poster "NBR & Its Connections" double royal size 40" x 25". Map style with Hotels shown in circular windows near top and all the much lamented stations and lines.

Tyers steel and brass Single Line Tablet PLYMSTOCK - TURNCHAPEL No 4. Ex L&SWR branch that originated at Plymouth Friary, built in January 1897. It ran through one intermediate station, Oreston. Passenger trains were withdrawn in 1951 and Goods t rains were withdrawn in October 1961.
BR Speedometer ex Bulleid Merchant Navy Class 35029 ELLERMAN LINES. Totally original condition with 35029 scratched into the back and also written in pencil. Obviously removed before or at Barry scrapyard. Now of course sectioned at the NRM.
Deltic Nameplate Crest ex Deltic number D9008 later 55018 THE GREEN HOWARDS. The loco was built by the Vulcan Foundry and introduced to traffic July 1961 to Gateshead. Approximately 15¼" x 7½" showing the Regimental Cross with 1875 in the c entre and Crown above. Has been cleaned but plenty of original `Deltic blue` paint present.
GWR C/I Doorplate `TELEGRAPH LINESMAN`S HUT`, 20½" x 5½". In original condition.
BR(W) enamel Doorplate `DRINKING WATER`, F/F, 10" x 5". Excellent condition with deep colour and shine. An unusual size and of considerable scarcity.
British Road Services - Carter Paterson enamel Sign measuring 18" x 27". White lettering on green ground with red border. A very rare sign in exceptional condition.
LB&SCR Oak cased 7½" dial wall hung Regulator clock 229 B. Supplied by Richard Webster of Cornhill London in 1863 for £12-10-0d the clock was originally used in Folly Hill signal box at Haywards Heath, it finished its working life at Ashford crossing signal box Templecombe and was transferred from the Southern Region to The Western Region on the 1st January 1963. The Large rectangular single train weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power has recently been cleaned and oiled and keeps excellent time, all 3 keys are present for the locks as is the winding key and pendulum, a rare chance to obtain one of these clocks as only 44 were supplied and this is one of the early ones, the later ones had teak cases.
Nameplate TIDMARSH GRANGE. Ex GWR `Grange` Class 4-6-0 locomotive built Swindon in 1937 receiving the number 6847 and initially allocated to Weymouth. Spent most of the 1950`s at Tyseley before departing to South Wales to spend time at Newport and Ca rdiff. Final allocation was Worcester from where withdrawal took place in December 1965. Cut up at Buttigieg`s, Newport. Lightly cleaned, the plate has been in singular ownership since purchase from BR. Note: Tidmarsh Grange is steeped in Berkshire`s history being a 12th century Manor and not becoming Grange status until 1881.

Shedplate 66F Beattock from July 1962 until May 1967. Ex loco condition. A real rarity.
GWR Hotels Chamber Pot by Mintons, England, 9" diameter x 5" tall. GWR Hotels Roundel on the side. No restoration.
Weston Clevedon and Portishead Railway C/I Wagon Owners Plate. Measuring 11" x 2½". The plate is in excellent condition. A rare find from this former Colonel Stephens Railway.
LYR Signal Box Lever Leads, qty 5 to include a double one `Main` and `Crossing`, the rest are singles and include `Stops`, `Gate`, `Down` and `Distant`. Together with a small variety of other company Lever Leads and a couple of brass column, wooden T elephones, one carrying a plate `Sig No 58 - 59 Telephone`. Finally a Westinghouse Brake & Signal Co Ltd London & Chippenham chromed badge 4" in diameter.
London Brighton and South Coast Railway brass cased Home signal indicator numbered 1543 and with an extra brass number 19 indicator on the top, in excellent original condition with both pivots working freely and no restoration to the dial or arm. Mea sures 3½ " diameter x 2½" deep. Not a common item.
Single Line Alloy Key Token GOBOWEN SOUTH - OSWESTRY NORTH. Ex GWR section on the Branch connecting the Shrewsbury to Chester line with the Cambrian line from Whitchurch. Closed in November 1966.
GWR wood cased Home Signal Repeater manufactured by H. White & Co., London. Plated No 22 above the dial. Originated from Hayes & Harlington Signal Box. In very good condition.
Smokebox Numberplate 42724. Ex Hughes 2-6-0 `Crab` built Horwich Works in October 1927. Primarily allocated to Agecroft, it was withdrawn in August 1962 and cut up in November 1962. A copy of the Engine Record Card accompanies. A nice, palindromic n umberplate.
LMS Menus mounted in glazed frames and signed by celebrities of the 1930`s & 1940`s The first menu is dated 7/3/37and is signed by George Formby and his wife Beryl. Next, in the same frame, is dated 26/2/36 and is signed by Paul Robeson. Next is signed by Gracie Fields and date 1938. Finally, menu dated 24/10/37 and is signed by Jack Payne. The last one is a Wine List bearing no signatures. Each measures 15¾" x 13", very tastefully framed.
British Railways 12" mahogany cased iron dial fusee clock number 14094 circa 1950. The English fusee movement with wire to the fusee is in good working condition. The Liner clock records show that this clock was last in use at Doncaster, Yard Ma ster Shakespeare Dock, Amenity Block and was sold to collectors corner Euston on the 10th October 1983. Complete with pendulum and key.
GWR Enamel Notice "Steam Rollers etc". White on blue, measuring 14" x 10". In excellent condition with small amount of loss to 3 corners.
BR(M) Enamel Doorplate `WAITING ROOM`. Measures 18" x 6", F/F. Virtually mint.
Original Oil Painting of The Cathedrals Express with 7029 Clun Castle on Chipping Camden Bank. Painted and signed bottom left by unknown artist `RWG April 1975` after Cuneo. Measures 35" x 25" in frame, image size 30" x 20". The magnificent original of this was painted by the renown Terence Tenison Cuneo CVO, OBE, RGI, FGRA (1907 – 1996)
Midland Railway cast iron Stick No Bills together with an MR No 9 Bridgeplate, a couple of Shut & Fasten Gate, an LNER long Gate Notice and a Fruit Wagon Plate.
Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway WWI Railway Service enamel Badge. Undoubtedly the absolute rarest of all.
GWR cast iron Shelf Brackets with the GWR script lettering within the casting. Both unrestored in original cream paint.
