In its original Western region pine glazed frame measuring 8" x 5½".

Ex 0-6-0 pannier tank built at Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd, entered service 31/12/1951, allocated to Penzance (83G) 31/01/1952, reallocated to Newton Abbot (83A) 31/03/195 2 , withdrawn 09/11/1960. In good original condition. Measures 20" x 6"
Southern Railway official photograph of Merchant Navy Class 21C1 CHANNEL PACKET, personally signed by O.V.S. Bulleid, 11¾" x 9¾". Together with a couple of photographs of the man himself, one signed by R. Curl 1959 who was the head of the D raughtsmen Department at Eastleigh Works. Also with this lot is a pamphlet by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers entitled `Some Notes on the Merchant Navy Class Locomotives Of The Southern Railway` to be read at a General Meeting of the Institution in London 14th December 1945

GWR/BR(W) wooden Carriage Board MORETON-IN-MARSH - WORCESTER, 32" X 3". In original condition complete with metal end strengtheners.
Barry Railway 12 inch Oak cased iron dial fusee clock with a spun brass bezel manufactured for the Barry Railway circa 1870–1880 by Barry & Sons of Cardiff. The quality English chain driven fusee movement with thick A frame plates that are held together by turned tapered pillars, is in fully restored condition. The white enamel painted dial displaying bold block style Roman numerals and the legend Barry Railway Co, Barry & Sons, Cardiff. This particular dial writing is unique and has never had GWR lettering applied the dial has been lightly restored by Dr D.R. Parr. The clock comes with its original BR paper label returning it from Caerphilly to AA Gardane Chief Signalling and Telegraph engineer S&T dept Reading. An extremely rare clock and the only one with this dial writing known to exist. Complete with pendulum and key.
Enamel Advertising Sign "Fry`s Chocolate - Five Boys". This is the rarer smaller version. In good condition with no restoration. Measuring 18" x 12".
Enamel Advertising Sign "Rowntrees Elect Cocoa". Black, white and jade green measuring 10" x 15". Some edge restoration otherwise in good condition.
BR(W) enamel Sign "Way Out and Ticket Office", 48" x 12", F/F. Extremely good condition, slight letter restoration.
GWR Bowling Club Bowls, a matching pair. Each has a Great Western Railway B.C. label on the top and each has a GWR Shield logo on the bottom. Made by RW Hensell & Sons, Australia (est 1918) they have the stamp `Supergrip` and `Championship` indic ating manufacture in 1959. They carry the official British Isles Bowling Council stamp. Most unusual for certain, the GWR labels perpetuated in BR(W) days when the Bowling Club would have still been in full flow..
Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Steel & Brass Tyers Signalling Tablet WOODA BAY - LYNTON. Once the property of the chief accountant at Eastleigh, it was sent, along with others, to Eastleigh upon closure of the L&BR in 1935 and put to use as a paperweight. Excellent condition.
BR(W) E.W. Lucas Firing Shovels a pair, different proportions. The first is 43½" in length with a blade end of 17". Unused and still with the original Lucas Label on the handle. Although never used, the business end is a little rusty, nothi ng a good days firing wouldn`t put right. The second is a BR(W) 1961 marked example 40½" in length and the blade is 21". Appears unused as a small amount of label is still attached. The blade is also rusty and a little knocked
BR wooden Carriage Board GLOUCESTER - SHEFFIELD. Blood and custard measuring 28" x 4", retains both steel end strengtheners.
GWR Smokebox Numberplate 4168. Ex 5101 class 2-6-2T introduced 1948. Allocated new to Neyland, later Stourbridge Junction and finished up at Tyseley from where withdrawal took place in 1965. Cut up at Cashmore`s Great Bridge.
Live Steam Loco 70000 Britannia, 3½" Gauge. Black livery complete with Tender. Excellent workmanship, the loco has been run as the smokebox had some clinker remaining from its last outing.
British Railways Lion-over-Wheel Cabside Emblem, aluminium construction, ex AC Electric Loco. In ex loco condition with traces of BR blue paint.
Nameplate TAWSTOCK COURT. Ex GWR 4-6-0 `Saint` Class locomotive built Swindon Works March 1913 and numbered 2951. First shed allocation Cardiff Canton. In August 1950 she moved to Gloucester until withdrawal in June 1952. Note: Tawstock Court, locate d in North Devon a few miles south of Barnstaple, has origins in the Doomsday Book. In recent years it became a school. With magnificent views across the Taw Valley, the recent sale of the property has secured it`s future for generations to come.

Official GWR Commemorative Plaque bearing the inscription "8.55 AM Birmingham to Paddington Friday 1st July 1910 - First 2 Hour Train - Engine 2902 - Fireman G. Brookes". Mounted on a wooden shield within a horse shoe. The shield is branded `GWR` on the rear and the central, top hanging hook is also stamped `GWR`. Measures 9" x 10" approximately and is in excellent condition having hung in the family home for a very long time. Note GWR Engine 2902 was Saint Class Lady Of The Lake.

GWR wood cased Track Circuit Indicator manufactured by Walters & Co., London. Ivorine plated above the dial `Down Main In Rear Of Home`. A lovely instrument in very good condition.
BR Poster `Progress` by Terence Cuneo, quad royal size 50" x 40". An image of a Warship Class locomotive in the process of building at Swindon Works alongside a steam loco being repaired. Published by British Transport Commission and printe d by Waterlow. Minor edge tears only.

View of the town and bay with a woman in traditional welsh costume sat beside the foxgloves in the foreground. Published by BR Western Regio n, printed by Jordison & Co. Manx Electric Railway Poster `Snaefell and Ramsey - 50 Miles Of Unsurpassed Mountain Scenery, Lovely Glens and Glorious Sea Views`, anon, 24½" x 19½". Depicts a 3D map view of the island with car 42 and another in the forefront and a couple of oval windows showing Snaefell Summit Hotel and Ramsey. Printed by Richard Johnson & Sons Limited Manchester. Small edge tear to left but a vibrant and scarce poster.
Poster `Duxford Airshow Sunday 18th June 1978`, depicts a large image of Concorde 101 and a smaller photo of a Spitfire. Also included is a paper window display with the same images measuring 12" x 5" and is unused condition with gum on bo th ends. Both printed by Fisherprint Peterborough.
BR Poster `British Transport Ships` by Charles King, quad royal size 50" x 40". Shows illustrations of 21 ships used by the company, with a key beneath the image giving the name of each ship. Also, unnoticed by many, what appears to be a gr een A4 on a passenger train at the end of the pier in the background. Published by the British Transport Commission and printed by Waterlow. Expertly mounted on linen to preserve for future generations.

GWR cast iron Seat Ends, roundel pattern, a pair tastefully restored.
LNER cast iron Seatback ARDSLEY. Ex Great Northern Railway station between Tingley and Lofthouse & Outwood on the main line and west of Stanley on the LNER & LMS Methley Joint Railway. Opened in 1857, closed in 1964. Famous for the wonderful steam depot just to the south of the station. Cleanly broken in half, not through any letters so could easily be welded. Measures 25¾", loosely mounted on a wooden backboard.
South African Railways dual language, brass Cabside Numberplate E1329 6E1. Ex Series 3.3 kV DC electric locomotive designed and built by Union Carriage and Wagon in Nigel, Transvaal. Electrical equipment supplied by GEC. One hundred and fifty locomot ives were delivered between 1971 and 1973, numbered in the range from E1296 to E1445.
Carriage Print `Lavenham, Suffolk` by Kenneth Steel, from the LNER Series. In an original type glazed frame.
London Transport Enamel “Bullseye” Station sign WATERLOO measuring 24” in length in original bronze frame. Opened on 8 August 1898 by the Waterloo & City Railway. In excellent condition complete with original bronze frame.
London Brighton and South Coast Railway brass cased Distant signal indicator numbered 1366, in excellent condition with both pivots working freely and some minor restoration to the dial which doesn`t affect any of the lettering. Measures 3½ " di ameter x 2½" deep. Rarer than the home signal version.

Totem BR(S) EASTBOURNE, F/F, black edge dark green. Ex LBSCR station on the south coast. Good colour and shine with one small well repaired face chip.

Smokebox Numberplate 45201. Ex Stanier Black 5 locomotive, built by Armstrong Whitworth in 1935. Allocations include Low Moor, Wakefield, Bank Hall, Blackpool and Speke Hall. Withdrawal took place from Speke Hall in 1968. Ex loco condition.
GWR porcelain Lamp Tablet MARSTON HALT. Located between Titley Junction and Pembridge on the long gone branch from Leominster to Presteigne and New Radnor. A tiny single platform station with nothing more than a lamp to which this tablet was fitted. Closed 7th February 1955. Chances are this is the only piece of Railwayana ever likely to surface from this remote Herefordshire station.

Central London Railway Handlamp. Copper Top, complete with all glasses, burner copper reservoir. One of only a handful to retain original brass Location Plate "Liverpool Street".
