Webb & Thompson Single Line Staff, brass plated at the end LLANYBYTHER - MAESYCRUGIAU. Measures 23" in length, this was used on the section between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, closed February 1965 but did remain open for milk traffic until 1 973. Excellent condition.
GCR Platform Lamp complete with interior having an oval brass plate ‘The Reform Lighting Co., London`. The original, brown paint suggests it may have come from a GW/GCR Joint station within the London extension. Good overall condition but a sma ll area of rusting through on the chimney.

Carriage Print `Norwich` by H. Tittensor, from the LNER Pre-War series. In an original type, glazed frame. Not common.
Ground Frame Signs, Qty 3, pressed alloy comprising: - PORTOBELLO G.F. Situated between Westbourne Park and Ladbrook Grove near Paddington. Measures 20" in length, ex trackside condition; BLETCHINGTON CEMENT SIDINGS SOUTH G.F. Measure 50½" in length, the frame was near Gibraltar on the ex GWR main line near Kidlington. Ex trackside condition; ACTON STATION G.F. Acton is on the ex GWR route just outside Paddington. Measures 29" in length, ex trackside condition.
Great Western & Great Central Joint Railway C/I Signal Box Door Notice, standard GWR pattern but of significant scarcity. Face restored in chocolate and cream.
Brass Whistle on large stand, believed to be from a colliery or manufacturing complex building rather than a locomotive.
BR(S) enamel Sign "REFRESMENTS" - Note the spelling mistake - the H is missing! White on Light Green. Measures 36" x 18".
Polish Cabside showing PKP Eagle, together with 2 numberplates TY2-246 ex Kriegslocks 2-10-0 Class 52 locomotive, Deutsche Reichsbahn Kriegslokomotiven (war locomotives), having been built during World War II in factories in many European countries ( Germany and occupied countries, including Poland) between 1942-1945.
GWR Platform Indicator Finger Board `LOCAL TRAIN TO EVESHAM WORCESTER`. Almost Certainly ex Honeybourne station.
Doorplate BR(M) STATION MASTER, F/F Maroon 18" x 3½" , in virtually mint condition with a good colour and shine, this is the less common one line version.
Shedplate 85A, Worcester until May 1973, C/I construction.
Class 86 Cab Panel, ex 86221. Measures 29½" x 7" and has a bank of 10 switches, each labelled and to the right, a grill housing what appears to be an audible sounding device. A small label on the rear of some switches has a yellow warning f lash and the wording `Auxiliary Supply - Pantograph Must Be Down And Earthing Switch Locked Off Before Proceeding Beyond This Cover`. Note 86221 was built Doncaster 12/65 and numbered E3132. It was named `BBC LOOK EAST` and withdrawn May 2003.
GWR Gas Meter, Certus no. 522280, 1934, ex Bristol, Temple Meads, Clock Tower Yard, now demolished workshops under the arches. Painted green and in as-received condition, complete and undamaged and a very rare survivor.
City of Birmingham Corporation, cast-iron street nameplate, "Broadstone Rd.", with postal district suffix "26" included - indicating the Sheldon district. Tastefully restored, it measures 61” x 8½”
Great Northern Railway large Signal Lamp plated on the reducing cone STATHERN STN. Also has the GNR brass plate attached but this has some loss. No interior and the front bullseye lens has been replaced with a flat piece of glass. Stathern was on the Leicester Belgrave Road to Grantham line between Long Clawson & Hose and Redmile. It was a joint station with the L&NWR.
LNWR Fletchers 9 position Receiving Train Describer in a green painted, C/I case and mounted on a wooden base. Ex Shrewsbury, the segments indicate:- Hereford Line; Through Freight; Tarmac GF (written); Freight To Yard; Engine After Turning; Crossove r And Return; Not Described Or Shunt; Welshpool Line. Rear case screws missing otherwise extremely good condition.
Brass Worksplate Cie Generale Des Construction Ateliers De Marly, Nord. Face restored, rear original. Measures approximately 12" x 5½". Together with Brass Worksplate Baume Et Marpent Societe Anonyme Marpent - Nord 1932. Face restored, rear original. Measures approximately 12" x 5½".
Pullman Lamp, brass construction standing 20½" tall. Clearly stamped `TC 166` on the base. This was a Kitchen Car, at one time named GERALDINE. Complete with original, pale pink shade.
Totem BR(W) STRATFORD - UPON - AVON, H/F. Ex GWR station in the heart of Shakespeare Land in Warwickshire, opened 12 th July 1859 by the OWWR as a branch terminus from Honeybourne. Extremely good condition with slight loss of shine and some edge rest oration. Most from this location suffered badly from the local, industrial atmosphere.
Shedplate 5B, Crewe South until November 1967. Face may have been restored, rear ex loco.
GWR (stamped) small Flare Lamp, the handle of which is clearly inscribed `Fitters Shop - West Ealing`. Together with a small quantity of Signalling items to include x 2 Traffolite Lever Plates with the following inscriptions:- Interlocking Lever For Mousehole Siding G.F; Down Branch Starting To Oil Siding. These were used in one of the Paddington area Boxes. Also a brass Lever Plate No 20 `Interlocking With Temporary Siding Ground Frame; a C/I WR Signal Dept C/I Locking device. Finally, 5 items of telecoms equipment including wooden cased telephone with bakelite ear & mouthpieces, a pair of extension bell devices; a Relay unit and an Indicator. All ex Signal Box condition.

GWR Carriage Ventilator Panel carrying an advert for Communication between Passenger, Guard and Driver plus Luncheon & Tea Baskets available at a multitude of GWR Stations, Paddington July 1903. The wooden frame has the large number 1580 in shado w lettering with also the letter `C`, possibly from a Clerestory Coach, the back being branded CL 1229. The `Ventilator Push To Shut` button has a little damage but the ivorine plate is still intact. Ex carriage condition, believed to have originated from a carriage that at one time resided at Bengrove near Gretton, Gloucestershire. Together with a Carriage Print of the Diagram Map of The Great Western Railway Showing Routes, Principal Stations & Junctions. In original glazed frame.
A pair of Desilux Air Horns from a BR diesel locomotive.
GWR Carriage Mirror, in mahogany frame, 18" x 15", dated on back "7113", inscribed "Mirror from Trailing Lavatory Compartment of G.W.R. Third No. 4622. Mishap at Hockley, Feb. 6th 1940." Unfortunately no details of this accident are known to the Vendor.
Cast aluminium alloy, road sign with pointed arrow style end "Railway Station". Ex Avenue Road, Great Malvern, in as-received condition 38” x 7”.
Midland Railway / LMS Signal box board WATER ORTON JNCT wood with cast iron letters, 77" x 10". Ex Midland Railway location at the junction of the Birmingham to Derby and Birmingham to Nuneaton lines.
Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway Signal Finial, 36" tall with ball and zinc spike. A rare example.
Totem BR(S) GROVE PARK, F/F light green. Ex SECR station between Hither Green and Chislehurst, opened in 1871. Good colour and shine with a couple of small well matched repairs.
GWR brass cased Drum Clock bearing the manufacturers name `J.M. Skarratt & Co Paris` at the dial top and `G.W.R. beneath the VI. Case is engraved with the number 2356 but the case and movement isn`t marked. enamel has detached by the IIII and the face has a number of enamel cracks. Nevertheless, it is in full working order.
A pair of Platform Seat Ends, knotted wood style same pattern as the generic seats used by various railway companies including the Midland Railway. Much original green paint extant, good condition with no loss to cast iron.
Original Horn Grill from Class 50 number 50010 MONARCH. These grills were prominently fitted above the front of the cab, one either side.
Smokebox Numberplate 45011. Ex Stanier 4-6-0 Black 5 Locomotive, built Crewe Works in April 1935. A Scottish Loco for many years working out of Perth depot for 6 years and also allocated to Inverness, Eastfield, Grangemouth and Corkerhill. Withdrawn from Carstairs on 28/12/65 and cut up at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Wishaw. Face restored, rear ex loco.
Single Line alloy Key Token GARNEDDWEN - DRWSYNANT. Ex GWR section between Ruabon and Barmouth, closed in 1965.
BR(NE) Doorplate LEFT LUGGAGE, unflanged variety, 18" x 3½" Some chipping around the right hand bolt hole otherwise extremely good colour and shine.
GWR/Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway linen Plan of Worcester Station, Loco Works & MPD with some surrounding land. Well annotated in colour with notes added over the years. Framed and glazed, 26" x 42" approximately. A very old and interesting Plan, some wear from age of course.
South African Railways brass Bunker Plate 4001, measuring 7" x 4". Ex SAR class GEA 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 Beyer-Garratt locomotive 4001. Built under the authority of the Ministry of Works, the fifty locomotives of this type, built in the UK by Beye r Peacock, were delivered to South Africa immediately after WWII, cleaned and shot blasted by the current vendor. Accompanying this lot is the official South African Railways purchase receipt dated 22-09-1976.
Shedplate 11D Tebay until June 1960. Face restored rear original.
A pair of L&NWR Block Instruments, stamped on the side with Stockport etc. One has a support leg missing, otherwise both are pretty much ex signal box condition.
GWR C/I Notice ` Please Adjust Your Dress Before Leaving`. Nice original paintwork.
LNER 12" Clock numbered 17251 on a small plate on the right hand side door. No pendulum rod, just the weight and no fusee wire so sold as not working. Original dial with `L.N.E.R. in straight block letters across the face. Originated from a Scot tish location.
GWR framed and glazed, hand coloured Signal Box Diagram DUNBALL dated 8/3/21. Measuring 55½" x 20¾", it bears the drawers name `Arthur Knight`. Opened in 1904, the box controlled one of the few `flat crossings` on the ex GWR, the Wharf Line at Dunball being the culprit. This isn`t shown on the diagram but the Wharf Branch is as are the unusual, staggered platforms. Closed in July 1965.
Southern Railway enamel Doorplate LADIES ROOM. Flangeless with deep colour and shine and no discernible damage.
North British Railway Signal Finial, measures 23" tall.

Totem, BR(S) BOROUGH GREEN & WROTHAM, F/F, light green. Ex SE&CR station between Otford and Maidstone East opened in June 1874 originally named Wrotham and Borough Green but the name reversed in June 1962. In good condition with a brilliant c olour and shine and a few well executed small repairs
