BR Poster `Ilfracombe - On Glorious Devon`s Ocean Coast` by Dobson Broadhead, D/R size. A stunning view looking north across the harbour. Published by the Railway Executive Western Region and printer by Straker Brothers. Excellent condition with the exception of one fold lower quadrant and a piece of stiff paper still attached to the rear top right which was on the poster when it was removed from the frame.

BR Poster `North Wales` by D.W. Burley 1960, Q/R size. A detailed map showing characterised images of places of interest, surrounded at the bottom by seven castles. Published by BR LM Region and printed by Waterlow. Folds with some tears here and the re and some tape marks on the border.

BR Poster `British Transport Ships` by Charles King, Q/R size. Shows illustrations of 21 ships used by the company, with a key beneath the image giving the name of each ship. Also, unnoticed by many, what appears to be a green A4 on a passenger train at the end of the pier in the background. Published by the British Transport Commission and printed by Waterlow. Good overall condition with some edge crinkling.

LMS Posters, a pair comprising `Pleasure Island - Isle Of Man For Sunny Holidays` by M LMS, D/R size. Simple yet effective image of the `Triskell` covering a large area of the poster. Printed by Beck-Inchbold. Some damage but preserved on linen for f uture generations; `Gourock - Sunshine, Scenery & Sea - The Ideal Family Resort For 1940`, Q/R non-pictorial. A scarce wartime poster from WWII. Some damage but mounted on cartridge paper for future generations.
LMS alloy Hawkseye station sign THRAPSTON (MIDLAND ROAD). Ex Midland Railway station between Kettering and Huntingdon, opened 1st March 1866. In two separate pieces, this was rescued from the station when it closed on the 15th June 1959. Totally orig inal condition.
Stockton & Darlington Railway Rule Book dated 1862. A magnificent piece of British history, printed by William Lee, Horse Market, Darlington for issue to company employees. Maroon vellum covers with gold lettering, contains 67 pages. Inside the f ront cover is pencilled the owners name. He was the vendor`s grandfather`s grandfather and worked his railway career at Birtley Station near Newcastle. Very good condition for age, with a small amount of internal foxing and amendment marks.
Totem BR(Sc) `KILMACOLM` F/F. Ex Glasgow and South Western Railway station on the Paisley to Greenock Princes Pier route. The Kilmacolm to Princes Pier section was closed to passengers in 1959, and the Kilmacolm branch was the last Scottish passenger closure in 1983. Virtually mint, a rare Scottish totem only twice at auction before.
GWR full Bottle of Brandy made by one of the oldest French Brandy Companies. An amazing survivor bearing the full label `Auger Frères & Co Cognac Established in 1643 - Produce of France - Bottled in Cognac for the Great Western Railway`. Contents complete and so is the original seal. Augier exists in name only today and bottles bearing the name are extremely rare and valuable. The Augier cognacs were all distilled in traditional Charentais Stills and aged naturally making them of top quality. Many of the grapes came from the Champagnes and Borderies. Very few bottles still remain today, this is thought to be from the mid 1920`s.
London Brighton and South Coast Railway silver Station Masters pocket watch. The silver case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 and bears the case makers initials A.L.D., the inside hinged movement dust cover is hand engraved LONDON BRIGHTON & SOU TH COAST RAILWAY No 628 and is in pristine condition. The American Waltham watch company 15 jewelled top wound and set movement is in excellent working order and the enamel dial is clean and free from chips and cracks. Measures 50mm in diameter and 20mm thick. Accompanying the watch is the official BR receipt dated 2nd November 1995 and is headed `Watches retained on retirement, guards regulator, J.Chalcraft London Bridge Station`. A superb survivor.
GWR C/I Cabside 2255. Built Swindon in March 1930, it was allocated to Oswestry and later Machynlleth for use on the ex Cambrian lines. Withdrawn week ending 5/5/62. Sold to Cashmore Newport 10/11/62. In ex loco condition.
Tyers Train Describer, ex Malago Vale Signal Box, Bristol. A magnificent item with top and bottom dials each showing no less than 11 well known locations in the Bristol area including: Portishead; Cheddar Valley; Clevedon; Weston; Parson Street; Mars h Junction; Bath Road Engine Shed; Philip`s Marsh Engine Shed, etc. Malago Vale box was situated south of Bristol Temple Meads and first opened in April 1880. The second box opened in April 1932 and closed in April 1970.
Nameplate RAPID. Ex NBL Type 4 B-B Class 43 Warship Hydraulic number D838. Built at the North British Locomotive Works in September 1960 under works number 27967 and allocated new to Plymouth Laira for working the West of England Expresses to and fro m Paddington. Withdrawn in March 1971 and cut up at BREL Swindon in July 1972. Ex loco condition with Traces of Blue and Maroon paint around the edge.
GWR long spout Locoman`s Oiler with brass end-cap clearly incised `GWR`. Measures a full 24" in length. Together with a similar BR(W) long spout Locoman`s Oiler with brass end-cap. Incised BR(W) beneath the maker’s insignia `K`. Measures a full 24¾" in length.
Ground frame board 45" x 6" WEMBLEY STN FRAME, wood with cast iron letters, face restored rear original.
GWR Annett`s Key Machine complete with Brass key ODDINGLEY GF KEY B. This small crossing is on the ex Midland mainline between Birmingham and Gloucester, still extant to this day.
Hymek Class Locomotive Cabside Numerals, D7000. Ex Beyer Peacock Type 3 B-B Class 35 Locomotive, built May 1961and allocated to Bristol Bath Road. The loco was withdrawn in July 1973 and cut up at Swindon in October 1975. Mounted for display on a woo den board.
Wooden Carriage Board `EVESHAM` one side `STRATFORD UPON AVON` on the other.
Midland Railway block instrument dated 1880 and bearing a Traffolite plate `WATER ORTON EAST`. Together with the Illuminated Signal Box Diagram from the same box (73"x 24"). Water Orton is situated at the junction of the line to Derby and t he line to Nuneaton just beyond Castle Bromwich.
Totem BR(M) CARPENDERS PARK, ex L&NWR station between Hatch End and Bushey. In excellent condition this totem looks to have been converted from a HF variety to wall fixing variety.
SECR Cast Iron bridge diamond sign complete with tonnage plates although one is damaged.
Carriage Print `Dunnotar Castle, Kincardineshire` by James McIntosh Patrick R.S.W. From the LNER Pre-War series issued around 1947. Dunnottar’s location is truly spectacular. The picture does not exaggerate. It lies a mile or so south of Stoneh aven which is and always has been the nearest station. VGC. In original style frame & glazed.
Pullman Lamp, un-marked, brass construction standing 20½" tall. Square base housing integral switch with a square, tapered column leading to the typical `Pullman` style top with acorn finial. Excellent condition throughout.
Original Oil Painting on canvas `45516 at Wavertree Liverpool` by Joe Townend (Guild of Railway Artists), 24" x 18". A fine image of unrebuilt Patriot 45516 THE BEDFORDSHIRE & HERTFORDSHIRE REGIMENT in fine fettle passing a couple of PW workers.
Birmingham City Transport enamel Notice re Complaints being received from local residents about engine noise....etc. Dated June 1956 and bearing the name W.H. Smith, General Manager. Black lettering on white ground, 25" x 18". In extremely good condition.
GWR `Roundel` style Platform Seat Ends, a pair. Unrestored, plenty of paint layers and some original bolts still in place.

GWR Single Line steel Key Token HARLECH - PENRHYNDEUDRAETH. Ex Cambrian Railway section between Portmadoc and Talybont. Has double sided engraving.
M&GN enamel, 8" x 5" white on blue. Text reads:- `MID.& G.N.JOINT RAILWAYS the booking offices at the Stations on the Mid.G.N.Joint Railways are open for the issue of tickets fifteen minutes before the departure of each train July 1 893 By order`. In excellent condition with brilliant colour and shine with a small amount of damage around the 2 screw holes.
North Staffordshire Railway, Tyers integral Block Instrument and Block Bell mounted for use by the Railway on a backboard to be used in a signal box as an entity. Of considerable rarity and in extremely good condition.
Totem BR(W) HAGLEY, F/F. Ex GWR (OWWR) Station between Stourbridge Junction and Blakedown on the Worcester to Wolverhampton route. Opened in May 1852, it retains the original cast and wrought iron monogrammed GWR canopied footbridge, erected in 1884. Almost mint condition, we`ve never seen a better one.
Single Line bronze Tyer’s Key No.9 key token LENTRAN - CLACHNAHARRY (No.5) from the former Highland Railway single line section . Formerly a double line section, the line was singled on 2nd May 1966 which is the date when this token and the ass ociated instruments were brought into use. Token working was discontinued on 10th January 1988 when Lentran SB was eliminated following the introduction of Radio Electronic Token Block (RETB). The token is in ex box condition
