An undated, Indian produced enamel depicting a fine image of an LNWR (loosely) locomotive hauling a rake of carriages with a past ure of cows in the background. White and pink lettering on a blue ground surrounds the central image. Small amount of edge chipping (touched over with paint) and a very small area of restoration on the loco, otherwise excellent.
Advertising enamel Sign `Milkmaid Brand Milk - Largest Sale In The World - As A Guarantee Of Quality See The Milkmaid On Every Tin `, 16" x 24". Blue lettering on a white ground with a stunning image of the Milkmaid carrying her wooden firk in of milk on her head and another in her hand. A couple of peripheral, first class repairs.
Advertising enamel Sign `Elliman`s Embrocation`, 20" x 18". White lettering on a blue ground, with two, side-by-side, multi-coloured central images. To the left is a dismounted Rider with his horse being tended by a Groom whilst the Riders dog looks on. To the right is the Huntsman, mounted on his steed whilst a small pack of Hounds await. Slight surface wear and a few peripheral areas of expert restoration makes this one of the most desirable signs to come to market. Comes with a matching glass bottle embossed with the same maker.

L&SWR enamel Block Instrument Plate `OKEHAMPTON`. 3½" x ¾", rounded ends, black lettering on white ground. Excellent condition, one small chip centre bottom.
SR enamel Target HORSHAM. Ex LB&SCR station originally opened 1848 as the terminus from Three Bridges.
GWR Nameplate, HOPTON GRANGE with matching brass cabside numberplate 6865, matching Smokebox Numberplate and 81D Shedplate. Ex GWR 6800 "Grange" Class 4-6-0 Locomotive built Swindon March 1939. An Old Oak Common loco for many years and late r Reading, then Carmarthen, Gloucester, Laira, Ebbw Junction and St Philips Marsh from where it was withdrawn on 8 May 1962 and cut up at Swindon Works in June 1962. The nameplate is clearly stamped `R 6865` on the rear indicating this to be the right hand plate. Note: Hopton Grange was Monastic Grange five miles south of Montgomery, Powys.
BR(Sc) enamel Platform Sign TICKETS, F/F 28" x 10". Good colour and shine, just minor edge chipping.
LMS alloy "Hawkseye" station sign WADBOROUGH. Ex Midland Railway location on the Birmingham to Gloucester route, south of Worcester, closed January 1965.
Smokebox Numberplate 90708. Ex WD 2-8-0 locomotive, built at Vulcan Foundry, Works Number 5212 in February 1945 and originally numbered 79269. Taken shortly after the end of WWII into BR stock and allocated to Newton Heath. Later to Oldham Lees and t hen back to Newton Heath where withdrawal took place w/e 2/5/64 from Newton Heath allocation but located at Agecroft – presumably stored there. Sold to Slag Reduction of Rotherham, and sent off 3/9/64 Face restored, rear ex loco.
Single Line Webb & Thompson Staff MERTON PARK - MITCHAM. EX LB&SCR section between Wimbledon and Croydon. In original condition and complete with Collectors Corner`s receipt.

Tyers Single Line Fibre Tablet, HEPSCOTT STATION BOX - CHOPPINGTON COLY JN No 10. Ex Tyne & Blyth Railway section between Morpeth and Bedlington. Complete with original leather pouch. Stamped "Tyer & Co Dalston, London.
South Eastern Railway 18 inch dial Oak cased drop dial fusee clock, number 292, a large and heavy clock and a rare example of a large railway timepiece circa mid 19th century, complete with pendulum but no key. The Southern Railway clock records show that this clock was located at Waterloo up local platform.

Excellent condition throughout with a couple of insignificant chips; `Eastern Counties Omnibus Company` enam el Poster/Timetable Board Heading, 22½" x 3¼". Triangular cream ground with elongated oval within, cream lettering on red ground. Excellent condition.
East Kent enamel Sign with simple company name in yellow with black edging on a red ground, 15¾" x 3½. Virtually mint condition.
Western Welsh enamel Sign `No Admittance Except On Business - Western Welsh Omnibus Co Ltd., By Order - Cowley Road, Ely, Cardiff`. Black lettering on white ground, 18" x12". Good overall condition.
SR enamel Target SOUTHFIELDS. Ex LSWR station originally opened by the Metropolitan Railway in 1889. It was the LSWR extension from Putney Bridge to Wimbledon and is today the closest station to the famous tennis club. Very good condition with just t he usual edge chipping.
Totem, BR(W) CRADLEY HEATH, F/F. Ex GWR between Stourbridge Junction and Old Hill on the original Worcester, Kidderminster Birmingham Snow Hill route, opened in 1863. Extremely good condition with good colour and shine.
Single Line alloy Key Token DUFFRYN ARDUDWY - LLANBEDR & PENSARN. Ex Cambrian Railway section between Harlech and Barmouth.
Hornby boxed Limited Edition `The Days Of Red And Gold`. Contains a print by Barry J. Freeman, 00 Gauge Princess Coronation `City Of Chester` and two LMS 3rd class corridor coaches and a 3rd class corridor Brake coach. Additionally, the original numb ered certificate is enclosed. Exceptional condition, the box has been opened but the contents never removed so classified as `mint boxed`.
Ian Allan double sided Advertising Board depicting a King Class Loco in cut-out style having `The World’s Leading - Ian Allan - Transport Publisher` emblazoned across the smokebox door. Appears to be some form of flexible plastic material, 30¾& quot; x 25¼" and is in exceptional condition. A rare survivor for sure. Also, WD & HO Wills Gold Flake Honey Dew Tobacco Advertising Card depicting GWR `King` Class 4-6-0 number 6000 King George V on a passenger train. Cut-out style in full colour, 16" x 12". Some scuffs but a scarce sign in this condition.

Great Central Railway Sherry Glass with large COA etched into side. Measures 4¼" tall x 2" diameter.
Carriage Print `West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire` by Horace Wright from the LNER Post War series issued around 1947. High Wycombe is the large, and for the south distinctly hilly, town set on the former GW&GC Joint Line to the Midlands. A couple of miles further west into the Chilterns is West Wycombe. Two tears to top edge border only, otherwise good. In original style frame & glazed.
Webb & Thompson Single Line Staff, brass plated at the end CRANLEIGH - BAYNARDS. Ex London Brighton & South Coast section between Rudgwick and Bramley & Wonersh on the old Guildford to Christ`s Hospital route. Both stations opened in 1865 and closed in 1965. Baynards has a very interesting history, not least of which being the location for the early BBC adaptation of The Railway Children. Cranleigh served the famous school and the ex Southern Railway Schools Class CRANLEIGH was named after it.
Carriage Door Push Plates, Qty 3, two of which are gilt (9½" x 2½") and one brass (11¾ x 2½"). Manufactured by James Cartland & Sons, Constitution Hill, Birmingham. Makers initials are cast into the back along with the date, 1864 a nd the Registration No 190677. Each has a most ornate pattern cast into the face. Vendor`s father was foreman of the Carriage Repair Shop Swindon and he acquired these on his retirement as they were most likely spares held in the Stores. Confirmed by the Collections Officer at the Steam Museum Swindon, to be identical to those held by the Museum that originated from the 1897 Diamond Jubilee Train. Apart from the Museum holdings, these are almost certainly to be of utmost `royal` rarity and a significant piece of British railway heritage.
Doorplate BR(M) STATION MASTER, F/F 18" x 6" in excellent condition with a couple of small well executed repairs and good colour and shine.
Original Oil Painting of GWR County Of Kilkenny by Philip Hawkins Guild of Railway Artists. Beautifully framed, this is an early execution on a 12” x 9” board by this famous railway artist.

Totem, BR(E) ROYDON, H/F. Ex Great Eastern Railway station on the line from Broxbourne to Bishops Stortford. A rare totem that has only appeared once before for sale at auction and this is the same one, in good restored condition.
Nameplate John Grooms. Ex Inter City 125 Locomotive Number 43020 named at Paddington station on 25/08/93 by the late Margaret Thatcher MP, and former Prime Minister . The locomotive then headed the 10.00 service from Paddington to Swansea for a recep tion at Cardiff. The nameplates were removed approximately six years later when the locomotive was repainted.
Southern Railway enamel sign `SR IFIELD HALT` with the SR in Sunshine lettering, 36" x 30". Ex LB&SCR station opened in 1907 as Lyons Crossing Halt. Some areas of restoration.
Wooden signal box desk 41" x 18" with legs inside ready to be reconstructed. Together with a circular `Power` Indicator/Block Bell mounted on a wooden board with A-B Switch and glazed indicator panel showing switching for East Croydon Stati on and also a display panel headed `Down Main From Tonbridge to Ashford. Has three columns of lights each one having different lines indicated including Headcorn to Ashford and Paddock Wood to Headcorn. Measures 13" x 10" x 4".
Single Line steel Key Token with brass plate affixed both sides to end PENRITH No 1 - BLENCOW No 22. Ex CKPR section introduced in June 1938 when Redhills Junction signal box closed. It lasted until December 1967 when electric token working between P enrith and Keswick was completed. Ex box condition.
GWR C/I Cabside Numberplate 5677. Ex GWR 0-6-2T built Swindon in September 1926 for use in the Welsh Valleys. Finished up at Croes Newydd from where withdrawal took place during w/e 6/11/65. Sold to Cohen Kingsbury 16/12/65. Neatly welded and face re stored. The smokebox appears elsewhere in this auction.

Nameplate VULCAN. Ex Brush Type 4 Class 47 originally numbered D1676, later 47090. Built by BR at Crewe in May 1965 and allocated new to Cardiff Canton. An early type plate, named in October 1965 without ceremony at Cardiff Canton. Original ex loco c ondition with traces of blue paint around the edge.
Shedplate 87K Swansea Victoria until August 1959. Face restored.
BR(M) Departure enamel in two parts. Lists For Trains to Harrow & Wealdstone and LT destinations , many names on this impressive sign which is in excellent condition. Measures 69" x 25" and 69" x 37" (To be removed on the auct ion day)

Totem, BR(S) FOLKESTONE EAST, F/F. Ex SECR station opened in 1843 as simply Folkestone and was renamed 6 more times before closure in 1965.
GNR cast-iron mechanical slot indicator, complete and in ex-box condition, clearly embossed inside "GNR. L 77", marked "Grand Sluice, Down Main Distant, On 1 Off`. In full working order with all bolts freed and oiled. Together with a G NR 2-gallon, paraffin can, stamped "G.N.R." and with brass plate "G.N.R. 1854", in remarkably good condition, complete with brass stopper, also stamped "G.N.R."; the tin-plate repainted black.
Single Line, steel Key Token KESWICK No 2 - BRAITHWAITE No 3 . Ex CK&PR route between Penrith and Cockermouth. Braithwaite was a 4-lever box opened in 1874. Closed in April 1966. Excellent, ex box condition.
GWR C/I Platform Seat Ends, a pair of the Script pattern. Reputedly ex Neath Station in S. Wales.

Original Oil Painting `Moorswater Shed` by Don Breckon (Guild of Railway Artists). Painted by the artist is 1976, it shows a very rustic scene of ex GWR Locos 5502 and 4565, being readied for duty. The two-road engine shed at Moorswater, Cornwall was on the Liskeard & Looe branch, built in 1893 by the Liskeard & Looe Railway. The shed disappeared in 1963. Oil on canvas measuring 28" x 20". Note: The shed was built by the independent Liskeard & Looe Railway in 1893 and closed in 1960.
Battle Of Britain Class Locomotive Nameplate Crest showing the RAF Badge. Vitreous enamel centre with gunmetal frame. A number of B-O-B locos carried this generic RAF Crest, primarily the `Airfields`, `Fighter Aircraft` and some `Personalities`. Howe ver, the `Squadrons` were certainly the exception as these carried crests with the squadron insignia. Ex loco condition throughout.
