Poster 'Service To Industry - General Service Quay Glasgow', by Alistair McFarland, quad royal size 40 inch x 50 inch. Depicts the Freighter DUNGRAIG moored beside the large cranes synonymous with Glasgow and a couple of early 0-6-0 Diesel Shunters in the yard, Published by British Railways Scottish Region, printed by McCorquodale. Folds and very minor left edge nibbles otherwise extremely good with vibrant colours.
Poster World War II Beware the Squander Bug. The Squander Bug was a World War II propaganda character created by the British National Savings Committee to discourage wasteful spending. Originally designed by freelance illustrator Phillip Boydell for press adverts, the character was widely used by other wartime artists in poster campaigns and political cartoons. It is one of the few propaganda campaigns from World War II to be fully documented from the original concept sketches to the finished adverts. This original Poster has been overprinted on the back, Birmingham GAS Department Raid On Germany 27th October 1943, asking for Money for bombs by November 1943 for Raids on Germany, the cost of Bombs is each pound weight costs Ten pence, each Thousand pounds costs 41 -10s 0d and One hundred thousand pounds costs 4,150 ! A truly historical poster framed and glazed showing both sides of the poster 20 inches x 15 inches small pin marks in each corner and minor loss to bottom right hand corner.

Fine scale 0 Gauge scratch built Exhibition Standard Model of LBSCR 4-6-2 Pacific Tank Locomotive No 326 'Bessborough'. Built by John Brierley and mounted in a glass display cabinet. The actual locomotive was designed by Marsh, built in 1912 and with drawn in 1951.
Fine scale 0 Gauge scratch built Exhibition Standard Model of LSWR Adams T3 4-4-0 Tender locomotive No 563. Built by John Brierley and mounted in a glass display cabinet. The actual loco was withdrawn in August 1945 and is now displayed at Shildon.
Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pocket Watch supplied by Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford. The movement is a 15 jewel American Waltham and the enamel dial is in excellent condition with second hand below, makers name below centre and the number 16651665 above centre. Hand engraved on rear of case 'L&Y'. Slight crack to plastic cover otherwise in fine working condition.

Ex Class 86 Electric Locomotive number E3157 later 86021. Introdu ced in July 1966 and named LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS in October 1985. Withdrawn in April 2011 and scrapped at Crewe in March 2013. Ex loco on rear with plenty of original blue paint.

LYR 19th century heart shaped brass Clock Winding Key. In totally original condition, one side stamped 'L&Y.R.Co', the other side stamped 'Booking Office'. Marked Railway Clock Keys are extremely rare, not seen one of these ever before.

GWR brass Cabside Numberplate 4954.Ex GWR Hall Class Locomotive PLAISH HALL built Swindon in August 1929 and allocated to Stafford Road. Had a spell in the West Country and by October 1961 it was back in the Midlands at Tyseley. Withdrawn from Oxley in November 1964. Wonderful ex loco condition with original blanking bolt in the bottom, believed to have originated from the Fireman side of the loco because of this feature. Original BR receipt accompanies.
Smokebox Numberplate 4954, ex GWR Hall Class PLAISH HALL to match the Cabside Numberplate in the previous lot. Face restored only.
Midland Railway cast iron Lamp Post complete with ladder bars. Cleary marked Midland Railway Company on the base, it stands approximately 115 inches tall from the base to the top and is ex Shustoke station. The post is out of the ground and buyer to arrange collection from Stourbridge, West Midlands.

Shunt 120 or 110'.
London Brighton and South Coast Railway teak cased 18 inch dial weight driven regulator wall clock that was supplied to the LBSCR in 1889 at a cost of 11-10-0d by Grimshaw Baxter & Elliott Ltd of London, it spent its entire railway working life a t West Worthing Railway Station Platform. The Dial has been repainted in the original LB&SCR style and the case is stamped 782B, the movement has four spoke wheels, deadbeat escapement, Harrison's maintaining power and a deal pendulum rod with the remnants of it’s a cast zinc cylindrical pendulum bob which will need a suitable replacement, it appears complete and has a weight and weight pulley. It will make an impressive timepiece when restored. 82 inches tall x 23 inches wide.
Diesel Nameplate RICHARD TREVITHICK. Ex Class 56 number 56037 named July 1981 and removed August 1997 when it was painted into EWS livery. The loco was built in January 1978 and withdrawn September 2003 and is currently stored at the Battlefield Lin e. Ex loco condition measuring 65 inches x 10 inches. Complete With DB Sckenker certificate.

A high quality model finished in wonderful detail and expertly painted with Owners name. Detail includes the Gloucester Carriage & Wagon W orks Builders Plate, axle box covers, buffers, leaf springs and brakes. In fact extremely authentic in every way.
Live Steam Traction Engine of early design. Model measures 12 inches tall x18 inches long, front axles measures 6.5 inches outside to outside, rear ones 8.5 inches outside to outside. Looks to be extremely well built. Needs a little cosmetic attentio n to display really well.
Live Steam Model 5in Gauge Southern Railway River Class No 791 'RIVER ADUR'. Extremely well built and steamed regularly in the past. Comes with a framed Certificate of Merit for entry into the 57th Model Engineering Exhibition January 1st - 9th 1988.
Live Steam model 3.5 inch gauge of Southern Railway Schools class 900 Eton, a well engineered model with fluted coupling rods, full brake gear and other detail, the model has certainly been used but no certificates are present.

LNER Seatback 'Cowdenbeath'. Ex LNER station between Dunfermline and Lochgelly. Measures approx 40 inches in length and has a couple of welds that are invisible from the front.

British Railways Southern region BR(S) enamel F/F 24 inch x 12 inch LADIES in the experimental pink that was used at a couple of London stations, good colour and shine and with a small repair but a rare sign.
LNER 3 aspect Handlamp GNR double piecrust small pattern, in original condition unusually painted Red, complete with all glasses, fore and aft slide in reservoir and Brass plated London & North Eastern Railway DONCASTER YD.
Nameplate GOODMOOR GRANGE. Ex GWR 4-6-0 Grange Class locomotive number 6838. Built Swindon Works in September 1937 and allocated new to Swindon. By August 1950 it was allocated to Penzance and by March 1959 to Newport Ebbw Junction. Last shed was Wor cester from where withdrawal took place in November 1965. Scrapped at Cashmore's, Newport. Face restored, rear ex loco stamped L6838 so the left-hand plate. A small quantity of photographs and correspondence accompanies. First time at auction.
Southern Railway brass cased fusee ships clock. The original 8 inch dial has had some light restoration and shows SR 10219, the brass case has a cast brass bezel with bevelled glass and the substantial chain driven fusee movement with Harrisons maint aining power is in clean working condition. The clock is mounted on a mahogany plinth which has a brass plate attached S.S. Canterbury 1929 – 1964 Presented to the Dover Waterguard. The Southern railway clock records confirm clock no 10219 was used on SS Canterbury. The Waterguard were the forerunner of the Customs & Excise. A rare and important maritime and railway timepiece.
