London and South Western Railway Boardroom map and prints, this important piece was purchased from Clapham Railway museum and was believed to have hung in the LSWR boardroom at Waterloo, The carved and Gilded frame measures 50 inches x 38 inches and has its original glass, displays a central map of the LSWR system surrounded by views of Trevone Padstow, Boscastle, Tintagel, Bude, Lydford Gorge, Chagford Glen, Budleigh Salterton, Fingle Bridge, Torrington and Lyme Regis. Makers name Photochrom Co Ltd London at the bottom a truly remarkable and historic piece.

Great Western Railway 14 inch mahogany cased fusee drop dial clock supplied in the early part of the 20th century by Stockall, Marples & Co Ltd. The chain driven fusee movement with Harrison’s maintaining power was overhauled by Dr Parr and has the t rademark Stockmar logo and their production number 1556 stamped on the backplate. The Mahogany drop dial case is in excellent condition and looks stunning the GWR ivorine numberplate 3040 is screwed onto the left hand side of the box, these 14 inch drop dials are very rare and this one features in Ian Lyman’s book on railway clocks page 88. Complete with pendulum, winding key and bottom door key, in perfect working condition ready to hang on your wall.
Worksplate English Electric Co Ltd Vulcan Works Newton-le-Willows No 3627/D1026 1966. Ex Class 20 originally numbered D8156, later 20156. Allocated to the Nottingham Division, cut up at MC Metals in 1993.
Class 55 Deltic Nameplate Badge ex D9004 later 55004 THE QUEENS OWN HIGHLANDERS. Cast resin in ex loco condition with 2 clear mounting bolts on rear, cut through when removed from the loco. Tt was removed at Doncaster Works in 1981 and kept by the th en Works Manager.
BR(S) enamel Sign WAITING & LADIES ROOMS, fully flanged measuring 24 inches by 18 inches dark green. In excellent condition.
Nameplate BOMBAY. Ex GWR 4-4-0 Bulldog Class locomotive number 3408 built Swindon Works April 1904 as number 3470. First allocation was Exeter and stayed in the West Country at Plymouth and Penzance for many years. Moved East to Weymouth and Westbury before a spell in West Wales. Withdrawn 10th April 1948 and cut up at Caerphilly Works 15th May 1948. Face has some restoration over original paint. Full history datasheet and a framed photograph accompany.
Cabside Numberplate 3408. Ex Bulldog BOMBAY, the nameplate and details of which appear in the previous lot. The plate is stamped in the rear '3470' and the top rim has 'Engine Class 4-4-0 with a W crossed out and A23'

Smokebox Numberplate 4609. Ex GWR Collett designed 0-6-0PT built Swindon January 1942 and allocated to Reading. Moved to Old Oak Common for Paddington shunting duties and ended up at Southall from where withdrawal took place in May 1965. Totally unre stored.
Southern Railway enamel Target ALTON. Ex L&SWR station A few areas of restoration, this is a rare Target indeed. Mounted on a replacement wooden board 26 inches x 13 inches.
Inverness & Aberdeen Junction Railway brass Station Handbell. Hand engraved with company initials 'I&AJR', it stands 12 inches tall and is 7 inches in diameter. The company merged with the Inverness & Perth Junction Railway to form the Highland Railw ay on 1st February 1865. A rare survivor circa 1857.
GWR C/I Lamp Post with 'swan neck' top. Post is 97 inches tall and the 'swan neck' fitting 51 inches. To be collected from our Evesham address.

GWR post grouping Top wound and set Nickel cased Guards watch, the Swiss made 15 jewelled Limit No 2 movement is in cleaned and working condition, the dial is perfect with GWR 02215 enamelled at the top, the hands are fully blued, and the glass free from scratches, the Nickel case is hand engraved with shaded lettering to the rear GWR 0.2215. One of the best examples we have seen of these.
Cheshire Lines Committee Pocket Watch complete with hallmarked silver albert. 15 jewel movement by Waltham USA, the enamel face has the second hand below. Top wound and top set. The case is engraved 'CLC 572' in fanciful script lettering and the watc h is in fine working condition.

South East & Chatham Railway square fronted 3 aspect Handlamp complete with reservoir stamped with a large letter 'A; and an unmarked burner. The lamp has company initials stamped on the side and is fitted with a large brass plate on the reducing con e 'SE&CR G8030'. The rotating drum is also clearly stamped with company initials. Totally unrestored. Together with a BR 3 aspect Handlamp, with reservoir and burner but missing blue glass and rear brass catch.
Original Steam Indicator Instrument manufactured by Dreyer Rosenkranz & Droop of Hanover, Germany. Housed in original wooden box, this heavy, precision instrument was developed in the 1880's based on the American Tabor design and later Crosby Indicat or design. Used to measure locomotive horsepower/drawbar output, original indicators were used as early as 1790 and attributed to James Watt. The instrument looks pretty well complete housing a pair of drums for recording, various springs and other fittings. The original makers plate is inside and a small oval brass plate 'Sulzer Bros Engineers Norfolk Street, London' is affixed to the outside lid. The accompanying Backtrack Magazine from May 2009 carries a comprehensive article on the use of machines of this type,
Carriage Print 'Winchester Cathedral, Hampshire' by Claude Buckle from the Southern Region A Series. Excellent, unframed condition.
GWR cast iron Lamp Post with half-harp ornate lamp top having a Sugg 'Mexican Hat' lamp with globe attached. To be collected from the Cradley Heath area, note lamp is already out of the ground.

Cabside Numberplate E3038. Ex North British Locomotive 25kv Bo-Bo Class 84 loco built under works number 27795 in June 1960 and allocated to 9A. Later TOPS number 84003. Withdrawn November 1980 and cut up at Vic Berry Leicester January 1986. Steel ba ckplate with screwed aluminium letters. Totally original.
North British Railway gold plated half-hunter presentation Pocket Watch. The quality Record Swiss 15 jewel engine turned movement is in good working condition. The 10 carat gold plated Dennison Case is also in very good condition and is engraved 'Pre sented to J.F. Clelland as a token esteem from the Staff and Friends at Hawick Station 29th July 1921'.
London Street Sign 'CITY OF LONDON - BURY STREET EC3' in original frame measuring 18 inches x 15 inches. The street borders the new Gerkin Building and is close to Aldgate station.

Michelin Man Mascot complete with boxed mounting bracket. Totally unused and still in original wrapper/box. The original Michelin receipt dated 1975 accompanies. 19 inches tall.
Great North of Scotland Platform Lamp CULLEN. The station was opened between Portknockie and Tochieneal on the old Aberdeen to Elgin route, in 1886 and closed May 1968. In original condition measuring 27 inches tall x 16 inches x 16 inches. One pane of glass missing but easily replaced.

British Railways Southern region BR(S) enamel F/F light green 24 inch x 18 inch PLATFORM 4, good colour and shine and in excellent condition with a small edge chip to the bottom.
London and Birmingham Railway Guards watch By George Littleworth of London. A brass and mahogany cased fusee Guards Watch dating from circa 1837, this important timepiece was used by Guards, set and locked at Euston, then travelled with the Guard so he could confirm the time at the Stations at which they stopped. Certainly in use before Greenwich time signals were sent by Telegraph. The Brass case is engraved to the front George Littleworth Maker London and to the rear London & Birmingham Railway 12 1823. The English Lever fusee movement is in working condition. This is the rarest and most important railway timepiece to ever come onto the market. Complete with the key for the case and a key to wind and set it. George Littleworth is recorded as working in 21 Rahere St in the district of Finsbury London, and is listed as apprenticed in 1789, member of the clockmakers company 1822-1851.
