BR(W) Station frontage sign 'British Railways Vine Street Station' ex Uxbridge. Measures 36 inches x 72 inches, hand sign written on metal in a wooden frame, ex station condition. There is a photograph of this sign in situ above the entrance on the ' Disused Stations' website.

LNER cast iron 9 x 5 Works Numberplate 5208 Gorton Works 1902. Ex class J10 0-6-0T built for the MS&LR. Released to Traffic June 1902. Was allocated to Chester Northgate a couple of years before withdrawal in December 1958. Unrestored.
Smokebox Numberplate 6855, ex GWR Grange Class 4-6-0 Locomotive SAIGHTON GRANGE. Built Swindon November 1937 and allocated new to Tyseley. Travelled little and ended up at Tyseley again from where withdrawal took place in October 1965. Face Restored, rear lightly cleaned.
LNER cast iron 9 x 5 Works Numberplate 68204 Gorton Works 1906. Ex GCR J63 class 0-6-0T, one of only 7 built, released to traffic August 1906 to Liverpool Central with condensers fitted to work as station pilot into the tunnels at the platform ends. Withdrawn April 1956. Unrestored.

Early Earthenware Mug with a green image on side showing a 2-2-2 Locomotive and headed 'Opening Of The Bedale & Leyburn Railway 1855' A very scarce, commemorative piece in remarkable condition for age and first time seen at auction as far as we know.
Great Western Railway 12 inch oak cased fusee dial clock supplied in the middle to late part of the 19th century. The wire driven fusee movement has shaped shoulders and cut out to the bottom of the plates, tapered pillars with a central ring these f eatures are consistent with a clock produced around 1860. The Oak case with an 8 piece segmented surround is in excellent condition and has GWR ivorine numberplate 668 screwed onto the left hand side of the box. The style of clock is very similar to ones supplied by Joseph Collings of Cardiff to some of the South Wales pre grouping companies. This clock was restored by Dr Parr and is in perfect working condition ready to hang on your wall, complete with pendulum and winding key.

Great Western Railway mahogany cased Crossing Keepers single Block Instrument bearing a brass plate 'Gt Western Ry Co Makers Telegraph Dept Paddington' on the front. Sadly the top bell is missing but the relay and striker is still in place.

Has the Maxitrak badge numbered 152 on the cab. An ex runner at the 'Dowty' Cheltenham Model Engineers site. In excellent condition requiring a battery to complete.

LMS Top wound and set Nickel cased Guards watch, the Swiss made 15 jewelled Limit No 2 movement is in cleaned and working condition, the dial is in good condition Limit enamelled at the top, the hands are fully blued, and the glass free from scratche s, the Nickel case is machine engraved to the rear LMS 16940 and displays the lettering horizontally which is seldom seen. One of the nicest examples we have seen of these.

A marble and bronze Presentation Clock with brass plate 'Presented to Mr Edward Newson by his colleagues on retirement from the service of the Great Western Railway Company Paddington December 1907. This highly important timepiece is French as is the movement which strikes on half and full hours. In full working condition. Note Edward Newson retired from the Office of the Superintendent of the Line in 1907. He began his career at Ross-on-Wye in 1867 as a Booking Clerk. He became Station Master at Minety near Stroud and then Taplow and in 1879 was appointed Chief Clerk to Alfred Higgins. Became Station Superintendent at Oxford in 1879 and finally in 1882 Superintendent of the GWR Parcels Department.
Great Western Railway 150th Anniversary Celebrations Boxed Medal Set by the Royal Mint. Issued in 1985, this set is of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallions, one of only 25 issued as a full set as the accompanying leaflet shows. The gold Medallion w eighs 195 grams and is 9ct, the silver Medallion weighs 150 grams and is .925 silver. Housed in a leatherette box with logo on top lid. In excellent condition throughout although the silver medallion is slightly tarnished.

GWR cast iron Cabside Numberplate 3773. Ex GWR 0-6-0PT built Swindon in May 1938 and allocated for some time to Bristol St Philips Marsh. Later allocation was Cardiff East Dock from where withdrawal took place in October 1962.
GWR steel Single line Key Token WITHAM - CRANMORE. Ex GWR Cheddar Valley branch from Yatton. Closed in 1963. Ex box condition.
LMS or early BR experimental enamel Hawkseye LEAMINGTON SPA. Believed to be ex Avenue Station, it measures 36 inches x 17.5 inches and is chocolate and cream in colour with an overall white ground. The centre circle is exactly the same size as LMS al loy Hawkseyes but the face is without border and the two wings have top flanges with bolt fixing holes. One small chip otherwise virtually mint. A great rarity for certain.
BR(M) enamel Doorplate TICKET OFFICE AND WAITING ROOM on three lines. Measures 18inches x 6 inches with one small chip and a few minor defects. An extremely scarce doorplate indeed.
Nameplate LYDFORD CASTLE. Ex GWR 4-6-0 locomotive built Swindon Works in June 1946 and allocated to Shrewsbury. Was at Gloucester in the early 1950's and then Laira. Withdrawn from Old Oak Common in December 1963. The plate was originally fitted to Castle Class number 5055 which later became Earl Of Eldon. The nameplate was then transferred to loco number 7006 and this is borne out by the rear stampings .Face restored long ago, rear original and bearing the stampings 'LIN No 5055 Lot 303 L7006'. Original BR paperwork accompanies. First time at auction.
Smiths Deluxe 15 Jewel Wristwatch 9ct gold from 1963. Inscribed on back 'British Railways in appreciation of 45 year's service'. Also certificate and photos of the recipient's retirement in 1968.
