South African Railways dual language brass Cabside Numberplate 2303 Class GM. Ex 4-8-2+2-8-4 locomotive of which only sixteen were built by Beyer Peacock and Company in 1938. Withdrawn from service in 1973 only to be reinstated shortly afterwards due to a shortage caused by accidents ,being hired to Durnacol, where it worked until 1977, coupled to an old Class 1 tender. Original 1977 Stores Department receipt accompanies.
Shedplate 50B Neville Hill until January 1960 and then Dairycoates until September 1970. Face restored, rear ex loco.
GWR brass Signalbox Lever Leads, qty 11 to include UP WICKET; 9 CXOVER; 41 Disc etc 9 inches long.
Totem BR(W) SLOUGH, F/F. Ex GWR station between Reading and Paddington. In totally ex station condition but if cleaned would probably be excellent.
Nameplate KNOLTON HALL. Ex GWR 4-6-0 Hall Class locomotive number 5958. Built Swindon Works January 1936 and allocated to Taunton. August 1950 shed allocation Cardiff Canton. March 1959 shed allocation Old Oak Common. Final allocation Bristol, St. Ph ilip's Marsh from where withdrawal took place in March 1964. Scrapped at Hayes, Bridgend. Face resorted rear original and stamped RIN 5958 Lot 297. Original BR paperwork accompanies.
GWR fully titled cast iron Trespass Sign, pre-grouping version. In original condition.
Worksplate Built 1953 Doncaster, cast iron construction. Face restored, rear ex loco with traces of original green paint. .
Totem BR(W) TORQUAY in chocolate and cream experimental plastic with cream back. Ex Devon seaside location. A very rare totem, only two of the chocolate and cream were produced and these were fitted to the footbridge.

GWR cast iron Cabside Numberplate 7305. Ex GWR 2-6-0 locomotive built Swindon November 1921 and allocated to Goodwick. Other allocations include Croes Newydd, Oxley, Banbury and Taunton from where withdrawal took place in September 1962. Totally ex l oco with rim stamped with Engine Class and Boiler Class.

Cabside Numberplate 2892, cast iron construction. Built by the GWR at Swindon Works in April 1938 and allocated to Pontypool Road. Ended up at Severn Tunnel Junction from where withdrawal took place in May 1963.
Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate '6960'. As carried by ex GWR Modified Hall Class Loco 'RAVENINGHAM HALL'. Built Swindon 1944 and allocated to Old Oak. Named in 1947 and withdrawn 1964 from Oxford. Face restored over original paint. Rear ex loco.
Totem BR(Sc) DUNDEE TAY BRIDGE H/F. Ex North British Railway station on the Scottish East Coast route to Aberdeen, built 1878. Virtually mint with one minute face chip.
Doorplate BR(M) single line 'STATION MASTER' F/F. Measuring 18 inches x 3.5 inches. In excellent condition complete with the brass rivets. This is rarer than the double line version.

Brass Oval Worksplate 'Hudswell Clarke & Co Ltd No D764 of 1952'. Standard Gauge 0-4-0DM new to John Summers & Sons, Hawarden Bridge Steelworks, Shotton as their No.37. Rebuilt by Hudswell Badger in 1972. Out of use by 1982 and subsequently scrapped. Engraved lettering, ex loco condition.

Cast Iron Birmingham Street Nameplate 'NEW INN ROAD', The actual road is situated in Birmingham 19 between Perry Barr and Aston. Measuring 35.5 inches by 5.5 inches, scalloped corners. Front repainted. This style of plate pre-dates the more familiar ornate Birmingham Street plates. Together with a cast iron Birmingham City Corporation Street Name Appendage Plate 'CUL-DE-SAC'. These plates were affixed below the equally ornate street names where required. Measuring 23 inches by 5 inches, unrestored.
North British Alloy Diamond Worksplate No 27980 of 1961. Ex Warship Class 42 Diesel Hydraulic number D851 TEMERAIRE. Released to traffic in July 1961 and allocated to Laira. Withdrawn May 1971. In totally ex loco condition.
GWR Hotels Liqueur glass. Acid etched with GWR in script and Hotels. Measuring 3.5 inches tall, bowl of 1.75 inches.
Cast aluminium Worksplate 'Andrew Barclay Sons & Co Ltd Kilmarnock No 508 of 1966'. Standard Gauge 0-6-0DH which went new to GKN (Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds) East Moors at Cardiff as their No.118. Circa June 1978 it moved to British Steel, Hawarden Bridge Steelworks, Shotton, and was scrapped in 1982.

An engraved opal-glass street name tablet 'CITY OF LONDON WARWICK PASSAGE EC4'. Measuring 15 inches by 18 inches. Black/Red infill on opal-white background and carried within its original galvanized steel mounting frame. From a tiny, partially covere d passageway leading off the Old Bailey.
