GWR 3 aspect Coppertop Handlamp with original etched front lens and original reservoir fitted with a GWR burner. Body is stamped 'GWR Swindon' on one side and an oval brass plate embossed with the number 16151 is affixed to the other side. Tastefully restored.

Furness Railway 3 Aspect Handlamp. Stamped 'FR No 48 FOG', also stamped 'LNWR Wolverton' on reducing cone and 1879 on the base of the lamp denoting year of supply. Complete with LMS reservoir and BR burner, no red or blue glasses. In the late 19 cent ury the LNWR seemed to have supplied the FR with hand lamps and probably predates Messengers Corrugated examples. A rare lamp.

GWR cast iron Cabside Numberplate 5234.Ex Churchward 42xx class 2-8-0 built Swindon Works in July 1924 and allocated new to Westbury. Travelled to South Wales and was at Ebbw Junction and finally Cardiff East Dock from where withdrawal took place in June 1963. In ex-loco condition
Enamel Advertising Sign 'White May & Royal Standard BP Lamp Oils' double sided, wall mounting variety 12 x 18 inches. Cobalt blue background with sunburst yellow from top lh corner. Good colour and shine with a face chip on one side not affecting let tering.

Hunslet Engine Boiler Test Plates, a pair dated 1950 and 1966. Measures 4.5 x 2.5 inches and are mounted for display purposes.
Destination Blind removed from Connex South Eastern Class 508/2. Measuring 24.5 inches in length on steel roller, the destinations include: London Bridge, Maidstone West, Strood, Tonbridge, Three Bridges etc. Good used condition Also, a small rectang ular cut panel from 508202 from vehicle 64696 which originally ran as 508105 until transfer from Merseyside to Connex South Eastern. Scrapped at Eastleigh in the Summer of 2013. Approx 20 inches x 5 inches, unrestored.
M&GN Tyers No 1 brass and steel Single Line Tablet CROSS KEYS BRIDGE 30 with of course the number 30. This is the last tablet in the series 1 - 30 that was used on the Long Sutton Cross Keys Bridge.

LNER cast iron Seatback HOLBEACH. In original ex station condition. Ex M&GN station between Whaplode and Fleet on the Spalding to Kings Lynn route, opened on 15th November 1858, and closed on 2nd March 1959 First time at auction.

British Railways (E) 2 piece enamel Running-In-Board WILLOUGHBY. Ex GNR station, opened 1848 between Boston and Louth and also junction for Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe. Closed in October 1970. In good condition. Each section is 66 inches long so ov erall 132 inches.
Shedplate 15F Market Harborough until May 1965. Ex loco condition.
Taff Vale Railway 3 aspect, single pie-crust Handlamp clearly stamped 'TVR' on the side with the number 1561. Replacement reservoir and burner. Tastefully restored.
PD&SWRJR brass Seal Stamp with wooden handle measuring 4.25 inches overall length. The brass face is inscribed 'Plymouth Devonport & South West Junction Railway CALLINGTON'. The station was a terminus from Bere Alston in Cornwall and was built by the PD&SWJR but operated by the L&SWR. Closed under the Beeching cuts in 1966. A very desirable item in lovely, ex station condition. The handle does have a crack in the wood.
Royal Blue double sided enamel Coach Stop Sign, 12.5 x 10.5 inches, blue lettering on cream ground. In excellent condition.
Nameplate 'axial' with matching circular Badge. Ex Brush Class 47228 originally numbered D1904. Built September 1965 under works number 666 and allocated to Newport. Named at Mossend Euro terminal on the 26th September 1995. Withdrawn in March 1998 a nd stored at Bescot for component recovery. Purchased by Fragonset on 2002 and taken to MOD Kineton in November 2002. Finally scrapped and cut up at EMR, Kingsbury on July 14th 2007. The most unique of all Class 47 nameplates having all lower case lettering. Measures 45.5 in length and the badge is 9.75 diameter. Totally ex loco and complete with EWS Certificate of Authenticity.

GWR leather bound Book , purple with gold lettering on spine 'G.W.R HRR & RC DEPT - MENUS' A substantial book measuring 14 inches high and 6 inches thick containing a huge amount of GWR and BR(W) Menus. Commencing in 1936 with Alliance Francaise Padd ington to Torquay May 20th and Torquay to Exeter the day after. Next HM King Edward VIII Paddington to Tavistock June 3rd 1936; Sir Charles Hambro (with written name on both menus); Lord Mayor of London Party; Grand Union Canal Party; Arrival of RMS Queen Mary at Plymouth 15th March 1937; Ulster Prince; Fry's Somerdale. Then into BR days including Inaugural Voyage SS St David Fishguard to Rosslare and a huge amount more of special visits, special boat trains, HRH Princess Elizabeth Dartmouth to Paddington June 1949 etc. A wonderful record that must have been kept at Paddington Station. Must be viewed to appreciate fully. Includes a copy of the Tavistock newspaper to show King Edward VIII returned to London from the town not by train but by air.

Poster British Railways 'Tay Bridge - See Scotland By Train' by Terence Cuneo, quad royal size 40 inches x 50 inches. Depicts a class 40 Diesel crossing the famous bridge. Folds with a few small clean tears, corner pin-holes with minor loss and 10 pe nce size loss in centre and one letter having pen marks.
