GWR Running Powers Book No 24. A quite stunning hardback book compiled at the General Managers Offices Paddington Station on Feb 12th 1903 showing the Companies Powers running over other Companies Lines and the rights of other Companies over GWR Line s. Contains 242 pages almost each of which contains a hand coloured plan of lines with information. Extremely good condition with slight detachment at top of spine, a real gem.

Early 19th century GWR Coat of Arms on what appears to be a steel part of carriage in a wooden frame, 28 x 28 inches approximately. The twin shield Garter Crest appears in the centre and beneath, left and right the London Wing emblem and the Bristol Snake in Arms emblem.
GWR cast iron Signalbox Board TREGOSS SIGNAL BOX, 60 x 9 inches. This Signalbox was between Roche and St Columb Road on the Newquay Branch. Ex box condition in original chocolate and cream paintwork.
Single Line alloy Key Token NORTON JCT - EVESHAM stamped number 43 on rear. Ex Oxford Worcester & Wolverhampton Railway section, now the Cotswold line between Oxford and Worcester. See Lot 313 which is the other way around.
GWR Wooden medicine Bottle Holder, branded 'GWR' with contents, most of which are marked on the labels GWR and also a number of First Aid Kit bottles etc mostly marked GWR too.
Mahogany cased Block Bell with large 'sheep bell' affixed. Bears a traffolite location plate 'BASINGSTOKE BELL' and measures 12 inches x 9.5 inches approximately. Ex Eastleigh.
GWR 19th Century Locomotive brass Splasher Emblem depicting the Wing and London Red Flag. Original paint, rear stamped 3025L. Ex Dean Single Achilles Class number 3025 built Swindon August 1891 to broad gauge and named ST. GEORGE. Renamed in May 1907 to MERCURY and finally QUICKSILVER. Withdrawn September 1908. A wonderful and historic survivor.

Great Western railway 3500 Gallons brass Tender Plate no.1708, Nov 1906. It was attached to the following engines during its 54 year life, 4311, 5394, 6344, 6319, 7318, 2826, 3809, 2851, 3200, 3204, 2227, 3810, 2891, 3814 COUNTY OF CHESHIRE and 3401 VANCOUVER. The Tender was withdrawn in 1960 and cut up as scrap. In excellent condition measures 11.25 inches x 8.25 inches.
Pullman Chair from Car 'Gwladys' Electric Stock. Re-upholstered in dark blue Marquette with similar armrest covers. Also a framed photograph and a framed piece of original material that covered the chair.
Nameplate in solid cast brass G.J. CHURCHWARD with matching Cabside Numberplate 47079 also solid cast brass, Double Arrow Logo in solid cast brass and circular alloy Great Western Railway Crest. Built at Crewe and entered traffic February 27th 1965 as number D1664. Renumbered under TOPS to 47079 in February 1974. A quite magnificent set that was fitted to the loco to celebrate the GWR 150 year anniversary in 1985.

LSWR platform ticket machine enamel sign, LONDON & SOUTH WESTREN RAILWAY PLATFORM TICKETS 1D TO BE GIVEN UP ON LEAVING THE PLATFORM. Black & Red on white enamel, makers name Ludgate Birmingham bottom right hand corner. Measures 19 inch x 4.5 inch in good condition with a few areas of expert restoration, a rare survivor.
