Worksplate Beyer Peacock (Hymek) Ltd. Serial Number 7900 Manchester 1961. Ex Hymek Diesel Hydraulic locomotive number D7006 which entered traffic 6th October 1961 at Bristol Bath Road. Withdrawn 11th September 1971 and cut up at Swindon in September 1972. Face overpainted, bottom left and right corners repaired.

TVR Wagon Registration Plate 1911 To Carry 12 Tons 19337. Together with BR Wagon Plates, a collection of 26 in total, a GWR cast iron Boundary Post with circular top.

Taff Vale Railway double sided cast iron Trespass Sign with integral post mounting, in original condition.

GWR brass Shelf Plate, machine engraved 'LYDNEY WEST' ex box condition.

GWR early Platform Lamp with original glass lamp name ASTON CANTLOW. Ex GWR Halt on the Alcester Branch to Bearley comprising a simple 200ft long by 8ft wide wooden platform with a corrugated iron waiting room. Constructed alongside the branch line a nd opened on 18th December 1922. There were no sidings or goods facilities, but lighting was provided and the single platform had 4 GWR lamp standards with typical lamp tops, this being one of them and the only known survivor. The halt was unstaffed and for administrative purposes was under the control of Great Alne. The Halt was closed when the line closed at the start of WW2, reopened again briefly in 1941, but finally closed on 1st March 1951. Some damage but a very scarce item.

BR(W) enamel Station Platform Sign REFRESHMENTS, fully flanged measuring 48 x 12 inches. Very good colour and shine, some chipping but nothing major.

Barry Railway 3 aspect, single pie-crust Handlamp clearly stamped 'BR Co' on one side and '474' twice on the other. Also stamped in larger letters 'LOCO SHED FOREMAN'. Reservoir stamped 'GWR 474' and it is fitted with a GWR burner. Blue glass missing , tastefully restored.

French Locomotive Cabside Numberplate 141.P.296. Ex Class 141.P compound 2-8-2, the most powerful Class of French Mikado, built at Forges et Acieries de la Marine et d'Homecourt-St Chamond (M.H.)

SE&CR lamp, much rarer LCDR 3 aspect pattern with all glasses intact. Stamped in body SE&CR No 165 Top SE&CR No 123. LCDR pattern vessel stamped SE&CR No163. Reflector unmarked. A brass plate on the reducing cone stamped No17, 12 DISTRICT. (This was the Faversham District and this lamp was used and recovered from the signal box at Whitstable and Tankerton prior to demolition. This LCDR pattern of lamp continued to be used on the LCDR sections for a short period after the joint SER & C management committee SE&CR was formed but being stamped in the management company's new initials. So this would date the lamp to around 1900.

BR(E) enamel Poster Board Heading, quad royal size in excellent condition.

CAUTION MAIN LINE CROSSING Notice with alloy letters on a flanged steel backing. The first word has red reflective beads intact, the rest of the sign has clear reflective beads intact.

GWR small Sherry Glasses qty 4. All etched 'GWR Hotels' with the GWR in early script pattern, all in excellent condition.

Southern Railway cast iron 40/- Trespass Sign. Face restored, rear original with clear post mark. Together with a small British Railways enamel Sign 'Danger Do Not Touch The Conductor Rail' 12.5 inches x 10 inches.

Cockermouth and Workington Railway Guards watch by Reid and Sons of Newcastle. A brass and mahogany cased chain driven fusee Guards Watch dating from circa 1847, this important timepiece was used by Guards, set and locked at Cockermouth or Workingto n, then travelled with the Guard so he could confirm the time at the Stations at which they stopped. Certainly in use before Greenwich time signals were sent by Telegraph. The Brass case is hand engraved to the rear Presented by the C&W R Co to Robert Johnston after 27 years faithful service, this confirms that his watch was presented to him on retirement. The movement fully signed Reid & Sons Newcastle on Tyne is in clean and working condition. One of the rarest railway timepieces to surface as nothing much survives from this company as it amalgamated with the LNWR in 1866. Complete with key for case, and keys for winding and hand setting. Robert Johnson is recorded as being born c1804/5 and in the 1841 census is a publican, In the 1851-71 censuses he is recorded as being a guard who lived in Cockermouth, so the presentation would have been around 1874, he died in Whitehaven aged 79 in 1883. GWR Nameplate ENBORNE GRANGE. Ex GWR 'Grange Class' 4-6-0 locomotive number 6814 built Swindon Works December 1936 and allocated initially to Exeter. Moved to Newton Abbot and then St Blazey before ending its days at St Philips Marsh. Withdrawn Decem ber 1963 and scrapped at Swindon Works.

Nameplate Techniquest, cast aluminium. Ex HST Power Car number 43002 having had no official naming ceremony (names applied early May 98).  It should have been named at Cardiff Central on 05/05/98 but this was cancelled after a freight train derailmen t. Removed towards the end of 2007 before 43002 was sent to Brush for re-engineering, In ex loco condition. GWR mahogany cased Block Bell with mushroom bell. In ex box condition and complete with original RE Thompson makers plate.

BR(E) enamel Doorplate PRIVATE measuring 18 inches x 3.5 inches. In good condition.

SE&CR splitter lamp. Based on the tail lamp design this lamp has one red glass in place of the bulls eye glass on the tail lamp. The side is stamped SE&CR 1733 and also has a brass plate SE&CR F No 1733. the lamp has a large slide in vessel stamped SE&CR, integral reflector to rear of lamp. Rare.

British Railways (E) 2 piece enamel Running-In-Board WILLOUGHBY. Ex GNR station, opened 1848 between Boston and Louth and also junction for Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe. Closed in October 1970. In good condition. Each section is 66 inches long so ov erall 132 inches.

GWR Castle Class Single Chimney ex 5010 Restormel Castle. The loco was built at Swindon in July 1927 and allocated to Old Oak Common for Paddington expresses over the ex GWR system. Allocations were numerous with final depot of Reading. Was quite an early withdrawal in January 1959. To be sold from site in Kent.

Beyer Peacock Gorton Ltd Built 1962 Hymek Bogie Plate No 7000/109. Oval brass measuring 4.25 x 2.5 inches approximately. Together with a Class 52 double Ammeter Battery Charge/Discharge Meter and a class 45 Horn Operating Handle.

Live Steam LBSC model of 3.5in gauge 'TITCH'. Looks to be complete but not yet painted.

South Eastern Railway Co large pattern handlamp. Never seen any other SER lamp of this size and is clearly an early example of the latter standard but smaller SER lamp. Originally a 3 aspect rotating drum,, but one glass has been blanked out with ti n plate leaving a clear and red glass only, Normal SER pattern back and side catch, Bevelled glass lens, SER Co, chimney brass plate and a full title SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY Co on side of body. Original unmarked rape vessel. This is a one off, not ever seen before, let alone with a full title plate so it must be very early lamp I guess around the mid 1800s.

Totem BR(M) LOSTOCK JUNCTION fully flanged. Ex LYR station between Bolton & Preston, junction for Wigan via West Houghton. In good overall condition with a couple of well repaired face chips.

GWR 19th Century Locomotive brass Splasher Emblem depicting the Snaked Arms and Scales. Original paint, rear stamped 3059L. Ex Dean Single Achilles Class number 3059 built Swindon April 1895 and named JOHN W. WILSON after a Worcestershire Liberal Uni onist Politician. Withdrawn June 1913. A wonderful, historic survivor.

Smokebox Numberplate 8775. Ex GWR 0-6-0PT built Swindon Works January 1934 and allocated new to Neath Court Sart depot. It remained there for its entire working life until withdrawal in December 1961. Scrapped at Swindon in April 1962. Face only rest ored.

London & South Western Railway Pocketwatch engraved on rear of case 'GOODS 3222 L.S.W.R.'. The movement is engraved 'Am Watch Co Waltham Mass and has the serial number 5452291. A fine example in working order.

GWR cast iron Cabside Numberplate 9600. Ex 0-6-0PT sold to NCB Merthyr Vale Colliery whilst the cabside numberplates were still affixed. Looks like a crack across one of the figures, undoubtedly from the days when at the colliery.
