LNER Railway Pocket Watch of early post-grouping design. The movement is marked Limit No 2 with 15 jewels. The original bevelled glass is intact albeit with slight marks through service. The face and hands are perfect as is the nickel case which is h and engraved 'LNER 284' Which is unusual as most are machine engraved.
GWR steel and brass Single Line Key Token HORSEHAY SIGNAL BOX - LIGHTMOOR JC SIGNAL BOX plated both sides of token. Ex Wellington to Buildwas section of the Wenlock Branch closed to passengers in 1962 and freight in the 1990s. Ex box condition.
Screen Printed Aluminium sign WALLS ICE CREAM double sided, 28in x 20in. Together with Tinplate Beer Trays qty 2: One Newcastle Ales and the other Butlers Ales Wolverhampton, each approximately 13in diameter.
Midland Railway pine cased Signal Box weight driven Clock by Reuben Bosworth of Nottingham, the A framed weight driven movement is complete with pendulum but no weight, the pine case has various names and dates inside the door and has its LMS brass n umberplate 12470 screwed to the front, it measures 47 inches tall x 12 inch wide and 7 inch deep. These clocks are not very common and would make a good project for someone.

Worksplate The Drewry Car Co Ltd Loco No 2693 204HP 1960 Associated with Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns Ltd. Darlington City Wall House London EC2. Ex British Railways Diesel Mechanical 0-6-0 Class 04 number D2312. Introduced in January 1961 and alloc ated to Gateshead. Withdrawn in February 1968 after just 7 years service and cut up at Booths Rotherham at the end of that year.
Nameplate 'William Webb Ellis'. Ex Class 86 Electric Locomotive built by English Electric in 1966 under Works Number 3723/E383. Originally numbered E3142, received first Tops number 86047 in Jan 1974 and then in Dec that year became 86254. Named at E uston by a party of sports personalities 9/10/80 after the legendary inventor of the game of rugby football at Rugby School in 1823. Measures 65.25in x 10in and is in totally ex loco condition. Receipt accompanies.
Pullman enamel lapel Badge numbered 14521 together with Royal Ascot Menus 1986, a quantity of Birmingham Pullman News and a collection of Inter-City Paperwork with Stewards and Chief Steward Badges.

Cabside Numberplate 9430 brass construction. Ex Hawksworth 0-6-0PT contractor built for BR-W by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd in October 1950. Initially located to Neath, it moved to Bromsgrove in July 1961 and famously worked as one of the Lickey Bankers until November 1964 when it moved to Gloucester Horton Road. Withdrawn from Barrow Road in January 1965. Ex loco condition.
GWR wooden Platform Sign with cast iron letters 'LADIES WAITING ROOM'. Double sided 49in x 18in and complete with hanging hooks. In original ex station condition.
LNER sherry glasses x 3. All stand 4.5 inches tall and are of an ornate Art Deco octagonal style, they all have the monogrammed intertwined LNER letters acid etched on the front. A delightful trio all in good condition and rare survivors.

Hull & Barnsley Railway 12in mahogany cased chain driven Fusee Clock. Has LNER 4648 on the dial and ghost lettering shows 'H&BR Cooke & Son, Hull'. In good working order. The LNER records show that this was located at Hull Springhead Motive Power Tim e Office.

Lancashire & Yorkshire 3 aspect Handlamp. Square front with bullseye lens, the side is stamped Permanent Way DPT Ramsbottom (although the last four letters are a little faint) the side is also stamped LYR as well as the brass handle top catch . Origi nal LYR stamped reservoir missing reflector and fitted with a later burner. Painted black with traces of green underneath.

London and Birmingham Railway Guards watch By Joseph Fenn of London. A brass and mahogany cased fusee Guards Watch dating from circa 1837, this important timepiece was used by Guards, set and locked at Euston, then travelled with the Guard so he coul d confirm the time at the Stations at which they stopped. Certainly in use before Greenwich time signals were sent by Telegraph. The Brass case is hand engraved to the front Joseph Fenn London and to the rear Euston Station No3 1797. The English Lever fusee movement is in working condition. This is another rare and important railway timepiece to come onto the market with us. Complete with the key to wind and set it. Joseph Fenn is recorded as working from Newgate Street, London and was also elected 3 times the Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers for 1842, 1843 and 1863.
Smokebox Numberplate 6697. Ex Collett 0-6-2 Tank built Swindon October 1928 and allocated to Oxley. Saw a spell at Leamington and then Tyseley in 1965 then ended up at Croes Newydd until withdrawal in November 1965. Ex loco condition.
Totem BR(W) WORCESTER FOREGATE STREET H/F. Ex GWR station in the centre of the City, opened on 17 May 1860 by the Hereford and Worcester Railway. Good colour and shine.
GWR brass Cabside Numberplate 4168. Ex Collett 2-6-2 Tank built Swindon in November 1948 and allocated to Neyland. Re-allocated to Stourbridge Junction in 1958 and then Tyseley in 1965 from where withdrawal took place later that year. Ex loco conditi on.

Nameplate Python, supplied to GWR but never fitted. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways in aid of their nominated Charity, Prostate Cancer UK and will come with an official certificate confirming the original owner.
LNER C/I 9 x 5 Tender Plate 3824, believed to be a cab numberplate from an O4 2-8-0. Together with a C/I Oval Water Capacity Tender Plate 5625 gallons, from a BRIF tender the likes of which were fitted to some of the Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0s and som e of the 9F 2-10-0s.

Smokebox 76077. Ex 2-6-0 BR Standard Class 4 built Horwich December 1956 and allocated to Sutton Oak. Re-allocated to Wigan Springs Branch in June 1967 and withdrawn from there 6 months later. Face restored, rear ex loco.

Smokebox Numberplate 43027. Ex Ivatt 2-6-0 'Flying Pig' built Horwich Works in 1949. Allocated initially in the Midlands at Bourneville and Saltley, later at Carlisle, Carnforth and Lostock Hall from where withdrawal took place in May 1968. The loco was experimentally fitted with a stove-pipe chimney in 1953. Face restored and welded.
Signal Box Board BR(S) BERE FERRERS F/F, light green. Ex Plymouth, Devonport and South Western Junction Railway, later L&SWR station opened 2nd June 1890 with its main line from Lydford to Devonport. Measuring 84in x 12in, and in excellent ex box con dition. Complete with original backing board.
GWR Steel and Brass Single Line Key Token LLANIDLOES - MOAT LANE EAST. Ex Mid Wales Line which ran from Three Cocks to Moat Lane and closed in 1962 with this section retained for freight working until 1967.
Nameplate BARBURY CASTLE. Ex GWR 4-6-0 Castle Class Locomotive built Swindon Works in March 1936 and numbered 5043 Initially allocated to Old Oak. 5043 was renamed EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE in 1937 and BARBURY CASTLE was affixed to a newer Castle built August 1939 and numbered 5095. This loco was allocated to Laira and finished up at Shrewsbury in 1960 from where withdrawal took place in August 1962. Stamped L 5095 Lot 303 in rear. Note: Barbury Castle is an Iron Age hill fort in Wiltshire.
