GWR Brass cabside numberplate 2856. Ex Churchward 2-8-0 Heavy Freight locomotive built Swindon Works March 1918 and allocated new to Pontypool Rd . Later allocations include Old Oak Common, Stourbridge and Southall from where withdrawal took place in March 1964. Face restored rear ex loco.
LMS or early BR experimental enamel Hawkseye LEAMINGTON SPA. Believed to be ex Avenue Station, it measures 36 inches x 17.5 inches and is chocolate and cream in colour with an overall white ground. The centre circle is exactly the same size as LMS al loy Hawkseyes but the face is without border and the two wings have top flanges with bolt fixing holes. One small chip otherwise virtually mint. A great rarity for certain.

LT enamel Target with bronze frame KINGS CROSS ST PANCRAS. In extremely good condition and nicely mounted on a backboard. Target measures 20in x 24in so is the smaller desirable size.

Worksplate, The English Electric Co Ltd Vulcan Works Newton -Le Willows England No 3496/D927 1964. Ex Class 37 numbered D6939 introduced in August 1964 to Canton. Renumbered 37239 in May 1974, withdrawn December 1998. Chromed brass in original condit ion as removed in 1971. Note the absence of blue paint because this was removed whilst the loco was still in original green livery.

Last shed allocation Tyseley from where withdrawal took place in Sep tember 1962. Scrapped at Cashmore's, Great Bridge. Stamped R No 5959 Lot No 297 on rear, it is in superb, original condition as purchased in the 1960’s, Note this is not the side we sold in 1999.
