GER Platform lamp ex Waterbeach station, in need of cleaning an repainting but complete with some china glass panels and original mounting frog and lamp reservoir, a couple of the clear glass panels are missing. A nice lamp that appears to be rust fr ee.

Post Office POST BOX, an original 1950's lamp box type complete with two enamel collection plates, internal wire basket and lock and key. The back has been professionally repaired and the whole nicely restored. Note these are not too heavy as the fro nt is cast iron and the rear mild steel.
BR(Sc) gilt brass lion over wheel cap badges, BRITISH RAILWAYS and a STATION MASTER. Both in good original condition with a small amount of enamel loss to the Station Master one.

SR nickel cased pocket watch by Recta of Switzerland. The 15 jewel movement is in good clean working condition. The rear of the case is engraved SR 4168 although this is a little rubbed. The watch comes with its original chain and clip.

BR(E) locomotive headlamp, nicely restored complete with reservoir, burner, reflector and red flip glass shade.
Diesel nameplates a Pair CROMWELL and CHURCHILL from a Ruston & Hornsby 1961 built 0-6-0 DH. Numbered 423 / 8217 / 01585. Formerly based at MoD Bicester, was sold on the 28th June 2003 and moved to the Avon Valley Railway for engine overhaul it was t hen sent to The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway at Wirksworth and whilst it was based here it received the CROMWELL and CHURCHILL nameplates, it moved again to Ruddington from where it was purchased by DB Regio ( Chiltern Railways ) for use at its Wembley depot, in 2010 the loco was taken to Long Marston for modifications and it received the Chiltern Railways blue livery and the nameplates were removed as later in 2010 it was renamed SCAZ. The Pair will come with a certificate from Chiltern Railways and are sold on behalf of Chiltern Railways in aid of their two charities Home-Start Banbury & Chipping Norton and The Brain Tumour Charity.
Golden Arrow embellishment as fitted to Class 71 locomotives in the post steam era. In ex railway condition, manufactured from a Resin composite with a green back and gold painted front measuring 60 in long and complete with both steel brackets used to affix to the class 71 locos.
Shedplate 87B Duffryn Yard until March 1964 then Margam until May 1973. Totally ex loco condition.
Totem BR(E) FF WOODHALL JUNCTION from the former GNR station on the line between Boston and Lincoln. In ex station condition with a couple of small face chips. Not a common totem.
Great Western Railway 12 inch dial Rosewood cased fusee drop dial clock circa 1850. The quality English fusee movement in fully overhauled condition has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders, which are held together by turned and shaped pillars. T he Rosewood case has Brass and ebony inlay with an integral drop to the surround and is of typical early 19th century Salt Box design with one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass lock. The enamel screen printed iron dial with Roman numerals and GWR is in good condition, this process was used in the 1920's and was short lived. This clock is featured in the Railway Clock book by Ian Lyman Page 83 Fig 3.89 and was sold by the London auction house Bonham's sometime in the 1980's. One of only 4 known survivors of this type of clock and all four show detail differences, so this one is probably unique.
BR Painted Notice No Spotters Without Prior Authority - No Access To Station. Measures 24in x 30in, as discovered in the old tunnel leading to Stratford East. In good overall condition. A great rarity.
Nameplate MINORU from the LNER A1 / A3 Class 4-6-2 No 2561 which was named after King Edward Vll's racehorse which won the 1909 Derby and 2000 Guineas. The locomotive was rebuilt and re-classified to A3 Class in June 1944, renumbered 62 in 1946, and becoming BR 60062. Allocated new to Gorton in May 1925 and later Kings Cross, Doncaster, Grantham, Copley Hill and New England from where it was withdrawn on 26 December 1964 and despatched for scrap to R.A. King of Norwich on 18 March 1965. The front face restored a long time ago. The first time either side has appeared on the market.
Worksplate, LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY No 1617 DONCASTER 1925 from the LNER A1 / A3 Class 4-6-2 No 2561 / 62 / 60062 named MINORU. Fully engraved brass, 13.25in x 7.75in, the front lightly polished, the back stamped 2561 and 62 and the rim stamped 2561. See previous lot for full description.

London Midland & Scottish Railway clock oak cased 8in spring driven going barrel clock by Smiths of England. Circa 1940. The clock is in working condition with LMS 15709 on the dial and also on the oval brass LMS numberplate which is on the side of the clock. Complete with key. Ex Clapham station North Yorksire which was on the line between Hellifield and Lancaster.

Locomotive headboard BOURNEMOUTH BELLE, cast aluminium. From the famous Western section Pullman train that departed from Waterloo at 12.30 arriving at Bournemouth West at 2.52 steam hauled until 1966 usually by Bulleid Merchant Navy's and Light pacif ics. In original ex loco condition with a small crack to the top. This is the first time one of these headboards has been offered for sale.
