GWR Pre-grouping Pocket Watch, by the Lancashire Watch Co Ltd Prescot. A good quality English made watch with top wind and lever set for time adjustment. The dial is free from chips and has GWR enamelled below the XII position as well as the makers n ame. The good quality Nickel case has matching numbers 230 to all parts and the back of the case has GWR hand engraved onto it and the number 2029 machine engraved, the numbered movement 328340 is fully signed Lancashire Watch Co Ltd Prescot & London and the records show that this was made with 4 pairs of extra jewels and supplied to the GWR on the 15th March 1900. In fully cleaned and working condition, this type of watch is the rarest GWR pattern of all.
LSWR Pocket Watch, by the American Watch Company Waltham Massachusetts. A good quality watch with top wind and set. The dial is free from chips, the nickel case has matching numbers 465 to all parts, and L&SWR PASSENGER 266 hand engraved to the back although now this is a little worn, the numbered movement 10310227 is fully signed AM Watch Co Waltham Mass, this dates the watch to the later part of the 19th century. In good clean working condition, although the top winder is a little loose.

The dial is free from chips and has LNWR enamelled below the XII posit ion as well as the maker's name. The good quality Nickel case has matching numbers 414 to all parts and the back of the case has the number 7777 and also 3343 machine engraved and crossed out, the numbered movement 219829 is fully signed Lancashire Watch Co Ltd Prescot & London, the LNWR were invoiced for this watch on 21st November 1899 and purchased 80 of this type. In good clean working condition.

The dial is free from chips and has the makers name, the nickel case has matching numbers 43 to all parts, and SR 1649 hand engraved to the back, the numbered movement 4867801 is signed Waltham Mass. In good clean condition, although the movement is a little sluggish and definitely would benefit from a service.
NBR Pocket Watch, by the Elgin National Watch Company U.S.A. A good quality watch with top wind and set. The dial is free from chips and has Elgin U.S.A. on it, the Keystone nickel case has matching numbers 9163 to all parts, and N.B.R. 485 hand engr aved to the back, the numbered 15 jewel movement 20988028 is fully signed Elgin Natl Watch Co. U.S.A., this dates the watch to being manufactured in 1917. In good clean recently overhauled condition.
North Eastern Railway pocket watch. A vintage key wind and hands set watch, with an unsigned full plate gilt movement dating to about 1900 or earlier. The face and hands are in perfect condition and the shallow bevelled glass is free from scratches. The nickel silver case, also perfect, has a hinged front and double back, the outer of which is clearly embossed NER 1.7. A fine heavy watch in excellent condition and good working order.

The dial is free from chips, the hallmarked silver case by Dennison has matching numbers 859 to all parts, and hand engr aved on the inside LONDON BRIGHTON & SOUTH COAST RAILWAY No 643, the numbered movement 13316709 is fully signed American Waltham Watch Co. The Hallmarks date this watch to Birmingham 1906. In good clean working condition
Cheshire Lines Committee Pocket Watch by Limit Switzerland. The dial is free from chips and the rear of the nickel case is engraved CLC 656. Complete with silver Albert, a rare watch in working condition.
GWR brass cabside 1449 ex GWR COLLETT 0-4-2 T built at Swindon in 1935 and originally numbered 4849. Allocations included NEWTON ABBOT and EXETER and was withdrawn from 89A OSWESTRY in 1960. Face restored and rear ex loco.
