GWR large silverplate two handled sugar bowl with GWR in script engraved to the front. Base is marked Elkington and date stamped V for 1881. It is believed that this was used in the GWR Directors saloon coach. In excellent condition.

Complete and in very good condition, not a common pattern of A GWR lamp.

Tenderplate oval cast iron BR(W) 5-547 5000 GALLONS ex WD 2-8-0 90546 from new to 21-9-1953, then 90206 to withdrawal at Bolton 27-4-1963. Face restored and rear ex loco; not common.

GWR brass cabside 2444 ex GWR DEAN GOODS 0-6-0 built at Swindon in 1893. A long time BRISTOL ST PHILLIPS MARSH engine and finally was withdrawn from WESTBURY in 1949. Face restored and rear ex loco with very clear boiler and class stampings in the ri m.

Southern Railway enamel seatback CLAPHAM JUNCTION. In excellent condition with a few small chips, measures 48in x 3in.

Electric nameplate HARLINGTON FESTIVAL, screen printed aluminium carried by EMU set 319030 coach 71801 28.08.94 - 02.98. It was named to show Thameslink support for the Harlington Festival and fitted to the first unit painted in Thameslink livery. Th e unit is still in service from Bedford depot and has been renumbered 319430. Measures 61cm x 18cm.

Diesel worksplate oval cast aluminium BRUSH TRACTION No353 1962 ENGLAND EX BR CLASS 47 47412, D1511. Initially allocated to 34G FINSBURY PARK and withdrawn in May 1987 from GATESHEAD. Face restored and rear lightly cleaned.

Carriage Print HARWICH, ESSEX by Charles King from the LNER Post-War Series - A view of the Trinity lightship outside the Great Eastern Rly hotel, around 1953. In original type frame with the print measuring 20in x 10in.

Worksplate LNER Built 1944 SR ex Stanier LMS 8F 2-8-0. 17 Locos were built in this year 8511-8527, oval cast brass in basically ex loco condition, not common.

GNR Saloon Coach top light opening vent, mahogany framed with amber coloured glass and ornate foliage and GNR Coat of Arms etched into it. The frame is stamped 1276 in the top and measures 38in x 10in. In excellent condition, a rare survivor.

BR(M) FF enamel Station Direction sign. BODORGAN STATION 28in x 13in. British Railways in Totem at top with right hand facing arrow. Good shine with some minor repairs. Bodorgan is a former LNWR station, in Anglesey, between Bangor and Holyhead. A ra re sign from the Isle of Anglesey that has not been seen before.

GWR carriage compartment rug with GWR Roundels either end, measures 80in x 27in, in very good condition.

GWR brass drum clock with enamelled dial KAY'S LTD PARIS. The case and case back is hand engraved with the number 2585 which is also stamped into the case, the movement has the GWR modified winder fitted. In good clean working condition. An early ver sion of these popular clocks.

Totem BR(W) FF CALNE from the former GWR station on the Branch from Chippenham. A rare totem that has only appeared once before at auction, 17 years ago, and this is the same one. In virtually mint condition.

Nameplate ALLENBY ex Peckett 0-4-0 ST No 1978 of 1939. Supplied new to The Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. Sold to E.L.Pitt & Co, Brackley, Northants in August 1959 and scrapped shortly afterwards. In lovely ex loco condition.

McKenzie and Holland large cast iron umbrella type signal finial in nice restored condition. Stands an impressive 44in tall.

LNWR oak cased 3 position platform train ready to start indicator. The indicators are marked TO BIRKENHEAD, TO HOLYHEAD, TO COAL YARD. Complete with bell mounted at the top. Measures 29in x 12in and is stamped at the bottom L&NW No 0.11. A rare signa l box instrument, ex Chester.

Nameplate WILLIAM ex Yorkshire Engine 2880 of 1962, an 0-4-0 diesel electric new to Stewarts & Lloyds Ltd. Bilston Steelworks in Staffordshire. It passed to the British Steel Corporation on Nationalisation of the industry and later moved to other ste elworks in Yorkshire. Face lightly cleaned.

Midland Railway small silverplate coffee pot, very ornate design with the MIDLAND WYVERN and MIDLAND RAILWAY HOTELS in Garter hand engraved on the side. Stands 5.5in tall and is base marked Elkington & Co and dated marked for 1868. A lovely example o f a very rare piece of silverplate.

Diesel/electric worksplate oval cast brass THE BRITISH THOMPSON-HOUSTON CO LTD DIESEL ELECTRIC NO 1033 1957 RUGBY ENGLAND EX BR CLASS 15 D8202. Initially allocated to DEVONS ROAD BOW in 1958 and withdrawn from STRATFORD June 1968. Cut up at Cohens Ke ttering in 1969. Front lacquered over original paint, rear ex loco.

Carriage Print CLEY, NEAR HOLT, NORFOLK by Reg Jordan from the LNER Post-War Series, around 1948. The Print is from HQ files in very good condition with small file perforation on left. In original type frame with the print measuring 20in x 10in.

GWR & Midland Joint Railways cast iron FIRE BUCKETS sign measuring 14in x 9.5in. Face restored and rear original, a rare sign.

GWR brass cabside GWR 3020 ex Robinson designed ROD 2-8-0 built by The North British Locomotive Company as works No 22087 and taken into GWR stock in 1919. Allocations included 84A WOLVERHAMPTON and was withdrawn from 84C BANBURY in 1954. Face restor ed and rear ex loco.

GWR 19th Century Locomotive brass Splasher Coat of arms, as fitted to the Dean Singles, it measures 11.5 inch diameter and is in ex loco condition. A wonderful and historic survivor not to be confused with the later Swindon re cast brass plates that were sold in the 1980's, the originals have a hollow back and the paintwork is to a much higher standard.

Nameplate DARING ex BR Class 42 Warship class No D811. New from Swindon Works to Laira in October 1959, withdrawn from Newton Abbot in January 1972 and cut up at Swindon Works in October 1972. Cast aluminium face and back lightly cleaned and retains original paint.
