Totem BR(S) FF light green ELMSTEAD WOODS from the former SECR station between Grove Park and Chislehurst. In good condition with a few small expertly repaired areas.
Southern railway enamel SOUTHERN RLY ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT NO ADMITTANCE measuring 17in x 9in. As removed in 1978 from Woking (York Rd) Sub Station, some damage. Together with a BR(S) FF dark green enamel 13. Could be either a platform number or a ca r stop sign but only measures 6in x 6in. An unusual size with some damage.
Southern Railway enamel poster board heading in the round style sunshine lettering, white on dark green enamel, measuring 52in x 5in. In fair condition with a little damage.

Shedplate cast aluminium 86A CARDIFF CANTON, in restored condition, ex Diesel Hydraulic. Together with a brass Desilux horn from a similar locomotive standing 17in tall.
Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company centenary Blue and white china, consisting of a coffee pot, medium platter and tea plate. All 3 items are in mint condition and base marked Baltimore and Ohio Railroad 1827 - 1927 Scammell's Lamberton China. Also acc ompanying lot is the official booklet explaining the origins of the china and the items issued in 1927.
Midland Railway cast iron lamp post measuring 171 inches tall, complete with added on ladder bars and Sugg Mexican hat type gas lamp fitted, full Midland Railway title cast into the base of the post. To be collected from the Bromsgrove area, or the vendor can deliver by arrangement and agreeable cost to the purchaser.

Road sign cast aluminium NO THROUGH ROAD, Gowshall Ltd cast into front. Measures 20.75in x 13.75in and is in original condition.
A pair of cast iron signs: Great Northern Railway TRESPASS sign dated July 1896 Kings Cross, and a Midland Railway BRIDGE RESTRICTION sign dated April 28th 1875 James Williams secretary Derby. Both nicely restored.
Brass and oak bell push TO CALL PORTERS, possibly ex Southern Region as traces of green paint on the edge. Measures 9in diameter.

A superb set of books that cover just about everything that was operational on the BR in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
Official British Railway Livery Handbook for Locomotives dated 1990, with sections for Inter City, Railfreight, Network Southeast, BR Mainline & BR General. Together with posters showing the same but one loco per sheet, all in full colour. Also with original posters of diesel engines including Deltics, manufacturers handbooks for Ruston, Paxman etc. A lot for the diesel enthusiast.
Nameplate Japan 2001 presentation plate on oak display board with engraved plaque Presented to Freightliner Limited by Porterbrook Leasing to commemorate Japan 2001 with the naming of a Freightliner locomotive at the National Railway Museum York July 2001, both original plates are still on 66501. This nameplate is being sold on behalf of Freightliner Group Limited and comes with an official certificate confirming this.

LNWR double sided platform Slave clock with original dials marked JOYCE WHITCHURCH. Complete with slave movement and hands. Would make a great display piece. Measures 29in diameter and 21in deep.

A pair of South African Railways 3 aspect Trigger operated handlamps. Both have been brass plated for display and have had electric light fittings fitted to replace the reservoir and burners. These would need to be professionally wired. Both retain t heir original lenses embossed SARS.
