LNER cast brass 9x5 works numberplate 69878 Rebuilt Darlington 1936 Ex Raven H1 4-4-4T rebuilt as A8 in 1936, brass numbering strip 69878 with original number 1499 ground off but clearly visible. Sheds included 53B Hull Botanic Gardens, 51D Middlesbr ough, 51C West Hartlepool and 54A Sunderland from where it was withdrawn in June 1960.
LSWR Sykes oil filled glass cased single signal repeater. In ex railway condition.
GWR enamel Cap Badge number 198, by J.A. Wylie & Co London. White enamel ground has the initials in black & gold at the top and the black number 197 within a gold rectangle in the centre. In very good condition.
GWR oak cased Pork Pie type wall clock with French going barrel movement stamped MADE IN FRANCE. The rear case cover is stamped with the GWR clock number 0.196 and the silvered dial is engraved GWR and wax filled. This is the first example we have se en with a silvered dial as they are normally porcelain. A rare clock in full working condition, measures 6.5in diameter overall x 2.75in deep.
Shedplate 55H LEEDS NEVILLE HILL 1960-1973. In ex loco condition with traces of blue paint.
A pair of GWR locomotive whistles, large and small, the large whistle is stamped GWR on the top. Both are lightly polished and come with a mahogany display stand.

Smokebox numberplate 5105 ex GWR 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1929. Allocations included 84F STOURBRIDGE JUNCTION and 85B GLOUCESTER HORTON ROAD from where it was withdrawn in October 1958. In Totally ex loco condition, with Wolves chalked on the back .

Great Northern Railway engraved brass Locomotive worksplate No 1067 Doncaster 1905 Ex Ivatt C1 class 4-4-2 No 62821. Sheds included 34A Kings Cross from where it was withdrawn in August 1948 and then Carried out Stationery Boiler duties at Doncaster Carriage Works from August 1948 to September 1950. Face lightly cleaned rear ex loco and stamped L and 3293 four times. To be sold on behalf of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.
Nameplate SIR HENRY MORTON STANLEY ex Virgin Super Voyager Diesel Electric Class 221 No 221117. Named in April 2002 and nameplates removed February 2008. Named after Sir Henry Morton Stanley 1841 - 1904 a British explorer famous for finding Dr Living stone. In ex loco condition. Measures 570mm x 1000mm. Together with a cast aluminium VIRGIN nose cone badge numbered 60367 260mm x 250mm and the original Perspex information panel re the origins of the person whom the train was named after. A nice set of 3 items.
Nameplate HEM HEATH No1 ex Bagnall 0-6-0 ST No 3077 of 1955 new to Florence Colliery, then to Silverdale Colliery in May 1966, Cannock Wood colliery in May 1970 and lastly to Norton Colliery but never used there and scrapped in July 1972. Rectangular cast brass, lightly Face restored.

Measures 5.5in wide, 3.5in deep and 2in tall. Hallmarked on base Birmingham 1920 Sterling silver. In excellent condition.

GWR mahogany cased 8inch chain driven fusee clock. The movement has rectangular plates with screwed pillars and the wooden surround is a one piece turning with a black painted bezel. The back box has dovetailed joints and a bottom door with cock bead ing. The lock has been removed and replaced with the GWR ball catch and knob modification. An ivorine numberplate GWR 1739 is screwed onto the left hand side of the case. The dial has been repainted post 1948 BR-W. A rare clock dating from around 1900, complete and in working condition, with pendulum and key.
Totem BR(E) HF SHEEPBRIDGE from the former Midland Railway station between Chesterfield Midland and Unstone closed in 1967. In very good condition with one small touch-in to the bottom of the second E. A rare totem that has only appeared once before at auction, 20 years ago.

North Eastern Railway cut glass circular Bonbon dish clearly etched on the top NER. Measures 6in diameter and is in excellent condition. An unusual item.

BR(M) brass cased ships clock ex MV HIBERNIA. Smiths Astral going barrel movement with dial lettered BR(M), rear of brass case written WHEELHOUSE MV HIBERNIA. In a recently cleaned and overhauled condition complete with key and original mahogany back board. The dial measures 6in diameter and the case 8in. The MV Hibernia entered service in 1949 and was used on the Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire British Sea Link Service until October 1976.
