LNER cast brass 9x5 works numberplate 62709 Built Darlington 1927 Ex Gresley Shire/Hunt 4-4-0 BERWICKSHIRE, brass numbering strip 62709 with original number 2709 ground off but clearly visible. Sheds included 64B Haymarket from where it was withdrawn in January 1960.
GWR cast iron sign G.W.R. PETROLEUM OIL. In original condition measuring 6in x 3.5in.
GWR brass signal box shelf plate ST BLAZEY, hand engraved and still showing remnants of black and red infill wax. Ex Goonbarrow Junction signal box, measures 4.75in x 1.5in.
W.D. locomotive headlamp Midland Region pattern steel plated on chimney W.D. complete with reservoir and slide in red reflector. A rare lamp in good condition.

LNER GNR pattern double pie crust small inspectors handlamp, brass plated LONDON AND NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY INSPECTOR CHAMBLER DONCASTER. Complete with fore and aft reservoir and all glasses.
GWR fusee bracket clock with silver engraved dial marked GWR EVANS & SONS BIRMINGHAM. Oak case with ebony stringing and GWR numberplate 2390 screwed to the inside of the back door. The chain driven fusee movement has A shaped plates with cut out to t he bottom and screwed pillars. The clock also has a London style pendulum. The GWR clock winding records from Swindon Works show this as being in Mr Turners office and was wound every Thursday morning. A rare GWR timepiece in good working condition complete with pendulum and key. Case measures 13.5in tall x 9in wide x 6in deep and the dial is 6in diameter.

GWR sepia carriage prints x3 consisting of: THE BEACH ABERYSTWYTH, MOELWYN MOUNTAIN FESTINIOG, and BALA LAKE (MERIONETHSHIRE). These are the rarer small size measuring 16.25in x 6.5in and are in good condition.
LNER Kesick Ware china coffee pot together with 3 coffee cups. Coffee pot base marked KESICK LNER ALFRED MEAKIN 1933 and cups KESICK LNER 1940, 1934 and 1935. All in good condition with two of the cups having had some restoration.
Diesel worksplate rectangular chromed brass THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON 2733/8143 - 1960 ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND. Ex BR class 40 D313/40113. Initially allocated to 5A Crewe and withdrawn from LO Longsigh t in October 1981. Cut up at BREL Swindon in January 1984. In ex loco condition with 40113 stamped into the rear.
Cabside numbers and double arrow E3019 ex BR Bo-Bo 25Kv Electric locomotive built April 1961 withdrawn in August 1971 and scrapped at BREL Crewe. E3019 was withdrawn in August 1971 after suffering severe fire damage, believed to be caused by placing the master control lever in reverse while the locomotive was still moving forward. This caused the traction motors to regenerate and overheat, and the resultant fire spread to the rest of the locomotive. Nicely mounted and displayed on a wooden board measuring 32in x 28in.
BR(W) FF enamel doorplate PRIVATE measuring 18in x 3.5in. In very good condition with a few minor chip repairs around the screw holes and left hand corner. Western Region enamel doorplates are not common.

19th century copper signal lamp with large bullseye lens and double mushroom top, later reservoir fitted. Stands an impressive 23in tall. Probably of Saxby & Farmer or McKenzie & Holland manufacture.
Nameplate RESOURCEFUL ex BR Diesel class 47 47594 and 47739. Named at Crewe Diesel TMD without ceremony and unveiled at the launch of the RES Business in October 1991. The name was retained when 47594 was renumbered to 47739. In ex loco condition com plete with D.B.Cargo original receipt.

LMS oval brass worksplate BUILT 1928 DERBY ex LMS 2P 4-4-0 No 40583. Label on the back records this and it being acquired at Gorton Works in October 1960 where the loco was scrapped. In lightly cleaned ex loco condition.

LMS wooden and cast iron lettered signal boxboard, VALLEY from the former London & North Western Railway signal box outside Holyhead, on the Isle of Anglesey. Valley is the local station to RAF Valley, where Prince William was once a pilot. Also the site of the turning triangle for steam specials to Holyhead. A nicely restored example measuring 38½in x 10in.
Great Northern Railway cast iron sign STICK NO BILLS GNR. Measures 14.75in x 9.25in and is in very good condition.
Shedplate 31B MARCH with additional self cleaning plate. March closed to steam in 1963 and had an allocation of BR Std class 7 Britannia Pacifics at the end, so this set could well be off one of them. In totally ex loco condition, rare to find them l ike this.
London & North Eastern Railway 10-inch mahogany cased chain fusee railway clock with a spun brass bezel circa 1930. The mahogany case is good condition, the original dial is painted BR(E) 12871 and the square plated wire driven fusee movement is in w orking condition. The LNER clock records show the clock as having been located at Lincoln Carriage and Wagon department. Complete in working condition with pendulum and key.

Midland and Great Northern Railway cast iron bridge plate M&GN 260. Bridge 260 was an elliptical over bridge north west of Drayton Station on the Norwich to Melton Constable line.
LMS cast iron tenderplate No 10443 1944 ex Stanier 4-6-0 44818, withdrawn from Newton Heath in June 1968. One of the locos that survived into steams last few months. Face restored, rear ex loco.
