LNER silverplate 3 tier cake plate stand nicely engraved LNER in script on the handle and stamped Mappin & Webb on one of the feet. Stands 16in tall; an unusual item.
Furness Railway brass guards whistle, stamped in the side F.R. PWAY 281 and stamped on the lip THE ACME THUNDERER HUDSON & CO BARR ST BIRMINGHAM.
GWR mahogany cased home signal indicator complete with brass plate 20, 22, 28, 31. In excellent condition.

LNER Kesick Ware china egg cup base marked KESICK LNER 1939. Together with a circular side plate face marked MAID BOATS and base marked KESICK ALFRED MEAKIN. This is a rare plate from one of the LNER ferry boats. Both in excellent condition.
London and South Western Railway 8 inch dial mahogany cased fusee clock supplied to the LSWR around 1870 by John walker of London. The rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement has turned pillars and a shaped back cock. The mahogany case has a o ne piece turned surround, dovetailed back box with one side door and a bottom door with cock beading secured by a brass lock, it also retains its original cast brass bezel. The original dial is lettered L.S.W.R 3598 and has typical John walker heart shaped hands. The Southern Railway clock records show this clock as last being in use at Cosham Signal Box. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. A rare clock that has retained its pre grouping dial writing.

Totem BR(E) HF BARROW HIL from the former Midland Railway station between Chesterfield and Rotherham Masboro and site of the engine shed. In good condition but top and bottom flanges removed. A rare totem that has only appeared once before at auction in 1983.

Smokebox numberplate 6395 ex GWR 2-6-0 built in 1921 by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd. Allocations included 85A Worcester, 84G Shrewsbury, 89C Machynlleth, 87F Llanelly. Withdrawn from 2C Stourbridge Junction in August 1964 and cut up at Cashmores Great Bridge. Face restored.
London Underground enamel target/bullseye sign EARL'S COURT measuring 24in x 20in and in original bronze frame which is mounted on MDF. In excellent condition.

GWR cast iron cabside 6605 ex 0-6-2 T built at Swindon Works in 1927. Allocations included 86J Aberdare, 88B Radyr and 88A Cardiff Cathays, from where it was withdrawn in 1964, and cut up at Cashmores Newport in 1964. Letters cleaned and face repaint ed a long time ago. Boiler and class stampings clearly visible in the rim.
Tyers No6 brass and steel single line tablet DERSINGHAM 27 SNETTISHAM from the former Great Eastern Railway line in Norfolk from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton which closed in 1969. In good condition with original wax infill present to all lettering.
Great Northern railway china glass lamp tablet CAYTHORPE from the former station between Grantham and Lincoln which closed in 1965. Measures 13in x 3in and is in very good condition.

Carriage prints x 2 both from the BR Scottish region series 1956, THREE SISTERS, PASS OF GLENCOE, ARGYLL by Frank Sherwin and SCHIEHALLION, NR KINLOCK RANNOCH by William Douglas Macleod. Both measure 25in x 10in and are framed and glazed and in very good condition.
LNER Kesick Ware china teapot, 2 teacups and a saucer. Teapot base marked KESICK LNER 1933 ALFRED MEAKIN, saucer marked the same but 1935 and the two cups dated 1934 and 1937. Teapot and saucer are in excellent condition, the teacups have had some re storation.
Great Central Railway cast brass worksplate Builders Gorton Works 1915. EX Robinson L3 2-6-4T no 69056 / E9056 one of a batch of 20 of this type. Sheds included Gorton, Annesley, Immingham, Woodford Halse, Mexborough and 34E Neasden from where it was withdrawn in March 1951 and scrapped at Gorton works. Face cleaned rear ex loco with the number 9056 chalked on the back. To be sold on behalf of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.

Great Western and Great Central Railways Joint Committees cast iron boundary post. Complete with original mounting foot, stands a manageable 54in high, and has been nicely restored.

The original dial is lettered L&N.W.R JNo Walker 40 Princess St Leicester Squ 5846 and has typical John walker heart shaped hands. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. A rare clock that has retained its pre grouping dial writing.

Nameplate MAYFLOWER PLIGRIMS ex Virgin Super Voyager Diesel Electric Class 221 No 221137. Named August 2002 and nameplates removed December 2007. Named after the ship which carried the Pilgrim Fathers to America in 1620. In ex loco condition. Measure s 570mm x 745mm. Together with a cast aluminium VIRGIN nose cone badge 260mm x 250mm and the original Perspex information panel re the origins of the naming of the train. A nice set of 3 items.

LMS glass lamp tablets MID CLYTH, LYBSTER, OCCUMSTER, all 3 from the former Wick and Lybster light railway operated by the Highland Railway and then the LMS. The branch was closed in 1944 which makes these exceptionally rare survivors. Transfer print ed black on yellow mounted on glass measuring 10.5in x 3.5in. Some slight loss.
LNER engraved brass Locomotive worksplate No 1795 DONCASTER 1934 from the LNER A3 Class 4-6-2 No 2505 / 40 / 60040 built at Doncaster in 1934 and named CAMERONIAN after the horse which won the 1931 2000 Guineas & Derby. The Loco was shedded at Gatesh ead and Darlington for most of its life and withdrawn from Gateshead in July 1964 and scrapped at Hughes Bolckow in September 1964. Oval engraved brass with London & North Eastern Railway Co filled in, the back is stamped 40 & 2505 twice. Face lightly cleaned. Complete with original British Railways receipt dated December 1964.
South African Railways class 19D Brass dual language cab side number plate 3367 19D. One of the final batch of fifty 19D 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotives built by North British Locomotive works in 1948 with Vanderbilt tenders. In Ex loco condition, me asures 20.5in x 14.25in.

GWR Running Powers Book No 22. A quite stunning hardback book first printed in 1902 this is the second edition printed in May 1927. It shows the Companies Powers running over other Companies Lines and the rights of other Companies over GWR Lines. Con tains 291 pages with almost each one with a coloured plan of lines with information. Very good condition.
