LNER cast iron 9x5 works numberplate 9056 Built Gorton 1915 ex Robinson L3 class 2-6-4T No 69056 / E9056 one of a batch of 20 of this type. Sheds included Gorton, Annesley, Immingham, Woodford Halse, Mexborough and 34E Neasden from where it was withd rawn in March 1951 and scrapped at Gorton works. Face restored rear ex loco. To be sold on behalf of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.

Hymek cast aluminium cabside numbers 7007, all four ex loco and with plenty of blue paint. Together with a D and numbers 7 and 4 from a different loco. Seven items in total.

Worksplate oval engraved brass HUDSWELL CLARKE & CO LTD No 1222 LEEDS 1916, stamped 2166 on the back. Ex Burry Port and Gwendraeth Railway 0-6-0T No 13, later GWR No 2166 and withdrawn in May 1955. The loco spent all of its life shedded at Swansea Ea st Dock.
Shedplate 32A NORWICH 1950-1973 with sub sheds of CROMER HIGH to 1954, DEREHAM to 1955, SWAFFHAM and WELLS to 1963, WYMONDHAM and YARMOUTH SOUTH TOWN 1959-1962. In ex loco condition.
GWR mahogany cased 14 inch fusee clock. The movement has rectangular plates with turned shaped pillars and the wooden surround is a one piece turning with a black painted bezel. The back box has two side doors a rear opening door and a bottom door wi th the lock removed and replaced with the GWR ball catch and knob modification. An ivorine numberplate GWR 701 is screwed onto the left hand side of the case. The dial has been repainted post 1948 BR-W. A rare clock dating from around 1870, complete and in working condition, with pendulum and key. Ex Henwick Station Worcester.

Nameplate NUNHOLD GRANGE ex GWR Grange 4-6-0 number 6842, built at Swindon works in 1937 and allocated to Bristol, St. Phillips Marsh where it spent much of its working life before finishing its days at Tyseley, withdrawn in November, 1964 and scrapp ed at Cashmore's Great Bridge in February 1965. In lightly cleaned condition with exceptional original paintwork, rear ex loco stamped with L 6842 indicating this is the Left hand side. Probably one of the best condition GWR nameplates to come onto the market in recent times.

British Railways Board 9 carat Gold free pass issued to DAVID McKENNA. David McKenna became assistant general manager of the Southern Region of British Railways in 1955. He was subsequently at Lord Beeching's elbow as chief commercial officer for the British Transport Commission, before becoming chairman and general manager of the Southern Region, and a member of the British Railways Board until his retirement in 1976. In good condition with a light blue enamel face and hallmarked 9.375 with a date code for 1969 London.

Great Western Railway 12 inch dial mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee clock supplied to the GWR around 1870 by Kays Ltd of Worcester. The rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement has shaped shoulders with cut out to the bottom of the plates a nd turned pillars. The mahogany case with GWR ivorine clock numberplate 2063 screwed to the front has an eight piece segmented surround, back box with two side doors and a bottom door with cock beading secured by the std GWR replacement ball bearing catch with both hinges stamped GWR. The clock has a spun brass bezel with plastered in sight ring. The original dial is lettered G.W.R. and clearly visible as ghosted writing is KAYS LIMITED WORCESTER. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. A nice early example of these popular clocks.

The sign was originally located on the goods warehouse in the station yard at Bentham on the line betw een Carnforth and Settle Jn. In good condition with a few small chips, a rare one off sign.
