Allocations included 84F Stourbridge Junction, 84G Shrewsbury, 85A Worcester, 82B St Philips Marsh, 88A Cardiff Canton, 88L Cardiff East Dock, 88F Treherbert, 88B Radyr, and 2A Tyseley from where it was withdrawn in September 1964. Cut up at Cashmores Great Bridge December 1965. In Lovely ex loco condition.

LNWR electric bell, cast iron with LNWR cast into the top and the brass bell has LNWR engraved into the face. An unusual item, measures 8in x 5in.

BR(S) Dark green enamel station fascia sign BRITISH RAILWAYS BRAMLEY & WONERSH with Totem's either end. Measures 52in x 12in and is in good condition with some minor chips.

Carriage prints x 2 both from the BR Scottish region series 1956, ETTRICK BAY, ISLAND OF BUTE by Alasdair Mcfarlane and THREE SISTERS, PASS OF GLENCOE, ARGYLL by Frank Sherwin. Both measure 25in x 10in and are framed and glazed and in very good condi tion.

Chester and Holyhead Railway tin plate letter rack, stamped in the top C&HRW Co and also brass plated Chester & Holyhead Railway Company with a Plume of 3 feathers. A Unique survivor in totally original condition. Measures 5in wide x 9in tall.

Worksplate cast brass, Beyer Peacock & Co Ltd Manchester 1900 from Great Central Railway N5 0-6-2T 930 / 5930 / 9354 and 69354. Sheds included 34E Neasden, 36D Barnsley and 41F Mexborough from where it was withdrawn in February 1960.

Midland and Great Northern Railway cast iron Parish Boundary marker, one side cast M&GN and the other PB. Complete and measures 32in tall.

North Eastern Railway signal box board SOUTHBURN from the former box on the Market Weighton to Driffield line which closed in 1964. Wood with metal letters, measures 51in x 10in, and is in nicely restored condition.

LNER cast iron 9x5 works numberplate 69317 Built Gorton 1898 Ex Parker N5 0-6-2T, built for the Great Central Railway and rebuilt as class N5/2 in 1930. Sheds included 13C Heaton Mersey from where it was withdrawn in February 1956.

Southern Railway 3 position mahogany cased block instrument with top mounted indicator (mounting bar missing), enamel plates UP LINE DOWN LINE and traffolite plate GOMSHALL. In ex box condition.

London Brighton and South Coast Railway cast iron carriage numberplate LB&SCR FIRST CLASS 204. Measures 9.5in x 5.75in and is in nicely restored condition.

SNCF tenderplate 34.P.393, cast brass frame with cast aluminium insert. Ex SNCF 241-P 4-8-2. Face restored and rear original, measures 22in x 14.5in.

Diesel worksplate oval cast aluminium BUILT 1964 SWINDON, probably ex BR class 52 WESTERN D1028 WESTERN HUSSAR as it came from the power handle from the same loco. Front face restored, rear ex loco and barely discernible D1028 and some yellow crayon marks.

BR(SC) FF enamel doorplate GENTLEMEN measuring 18in x 3.5in. In very good condition with a few small repairs.

Worksplate oval engraved brass PECKETT & SONS BRISTOL No 597 1895 ex type R1 0-4-0 ST. Originally supplied to Cannock Lodge Colliery then to Walsall Corporation Pleck Gas Works in 1896 and remained in use there until it was scrapped in 1970 at Cashmo res Great Bridge. Face restored.

Nameplate LEIGH and matching worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LTD LEEDS NO 1439 1923 ex 0-6-0 ST. It worked on the West Leigh Colliery Company system in Lancashire. A nice set.

The first page is scripted TO JAMES HOLDEN ESQRE W.I.C.E M.I.M.E LOCOMOTIVE, CARRIAGE AND WAGON SUPERINTENDANT GREAT EAST ERN RAILWAY ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM A FEW OF HIS FORMER STAFF, NOW ON THE RAILWAYS OF BRITISH INDIA, DECEMBER 1907. Then eighteen signed photographs of the contributors. A true museum piece measuring 12in x 11in x 4in.

LNER cast iron doorplate TELEGRAPH LINEMAN, face restored and rear original. An old paper label is on the back HARDENGREEN STATION. Hardengreen was a former North British Railway Station between Edinburgh and Galashiels. A rare LNER doorplate measuri ng 14.5in x 4.5in.

GWR brass signal Lever Lead 89 FROM DOWN MAIN TO CREWE CALLING ON 65. In ex box condition complete with original black wax infill. A desirable plate measuring 6.75 inches long.

Shedplate 30B Hertford East 1950–1960 with a sub shed of Buntingford to 1959. In totally ex loco condition, a rare shedplate only appearing a few times before.

M&GN Midland pattern 3 aspect handlamp stamped in the reducing cone M&GN and on the side of the lamp JT M&GN. Brass plated 94 GATEHOUSE MOULTON 1368. Complete with reservoir, LMS burner and all glasses.

Smokebox numberplate 7027 ex GWR/BR-W Castle 4-6-0 named THORNBURY CASTLE. Built 1949 at Swindon works, allocations included 81A Old Oak Common, 85A Worcester and 81D Reading from where it was withdrawn in December 1963. Lightly face restored, rear e x loco.

Southern Railway enamel target ELEPHANT & CASTLE from the former SECR and LSWR station on the line between Holborn Viaduct and Loughborough Junction. In good condition with a few small well executed repairs. Measures 36in x 13in.

North Eastern Railway wall mounted oil lamp, brass plated NER. Burner is marked NER and Messengers Birmingham. Complete and in very good condition, stands 12in tall.

South African Railways class 16DA Brass dual language cab side number plate 876 16DA. One of a class of six 16DA 4-6-2 locomotives built by Henschel & Sohn in 1930. All six of the class were used on passenger services and this locomotive was named Le ttie Uys. In Ex loco condition, measures 20.5in x 14.25in.

LMS/BR(M) wooden carriage board CHELTENHAM SPA LANSDOWN-SOUTHAMPTON painted black on white and measuring 32in long. In very good condition complete with original metal ends. A rare survivor from the MSWJ Route.

Totem BR(E) FF BENTLEY from the former Great Eastern Railway station between Colchester and Ipswich. In virtually mint condition with one tiny chip in the bottom border. A rare totem that has never appeared for sale before.

Great Western Railway soda syphon, large GWR Roundel and HOTELS acid etched to front and top marked with makers name CAMWAL. Stands 12in tall. A rare and impressive item in excellent condition.

Nameplate ST VINCENT ex LMS Jubilee 4-6-0 45686 built Crewe 1936. Allocations included 5A Crewe North, 1B Camden and 24L Carnforth from where it was withdrawn in November 1962 and scrapped at Crewe Works in August 1963. Face restored rear ex loco wit h one dot indicating this plate is from the left hand side, complete with original BR receipt dated 7th March 1966. The first time either side has appeared for sale.
