LMS cast brass worksplate Rebuilt 1921 Derby. Locomotives rebuilt during 1921 were the 2P 4-4-0 & 3F 0-6-0. Face restored rear ex loco with PATTERN No4 cast into the back and traces of maroon paint on the edge which probably indicates that the plate was from one of the 2P rebuilds. To be sold on behalf of The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.

South African Railway cast brass tenderplate 2110 MT ex 12A 4-8-2 2110 built by Henschel in 1929, together with a cast brass boiler test plate No 10221 1950, with a last test expiry date of 17-7-89 and a cast brass steam locomotive oil pot.

Totem BR(M) HF ST. ALBANS CITY from the former Midland railway station between Bedford and London. Good colour and shine with a few small areas of damage along the top.
GWR gas platform lamp top manufactured from copper and complete with original mounting frog. Stands 48in tall and is in good condition.
GWR mahogany cased single slot repeater with ivorine plate 2. In excellent complete condition.
A pair of post mounted street lamp cases manufactured from copper and painted grey and light green, traces of green paint underneath. Both have lamp lighting hatches at the bottom so were gas lit. In unrestored condition measuring 32in tall.
LNWR style small inspectors 3 aspect handlamp, brass plated on the reducing cone T GAFTULL. Complete with original rape oil reservoir and burner, all glasses and bullseye lens.
BR(M) 12in oak cased railway clock number 21201. The Smiths going barrel movement has just been oiled and the back of the dial has 21201 NORTHWICH written on the back indicating that this clock was in use there. A nice entry level railway clock in go od working condition, complete with key.

Diesel worksplate diamond shaped cast aluminium NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No27670 1959. Ex BR class 22 BABY WARSHIP D6305, shedded at 83D Laira and withdrawn from 84A Laira in 1968. Ex loco condition with a small piece missing from the left hand side.
BR(E) FF enamel doorplate STAFF ONLY measuring 18in x 3.5in. In good condition with some edge chipping. Eastern Region flanged doorplates are quite rare.
Worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE CO LTD BRISTOL BUILT 1923 ENGINE NO 1905. Ex 0-4-0 ST delivered new to Penderyn Limestone Quarries and stayed there all its life. It was registered to run on the main line by the GWR as number 125 in 1924 and BTC number 191 6 in 1953. It was scrapped on site in 1966. Oval cast brass with face restored.
Caledonian Railway silverplate circular wine bottle holder engraved on the front CALEDONIAN S.P. CO LTD (Steam Packet) and base marked Walker and Hall Sheffield. Measures 5in diameter x 3.5in tall and is in very good condition.

LNER Kesick Ware china assortment consisting of: a diamond shaped dish 10in long dated 1935, a milk jug dated 1935 and a small cream jug dated 1936. All base marked ALFRED MEAKIN KESICK LNER. All in excellent condition except the small cream jug has a hairline crack.
Southern Railway 8 inch dial oak cased fusee clock ex Wimbledon Engineers laboratory. The clock was supplied to the Southern railway by Grimshaw, Baxter & Elliott Ltd at a cost £7-16-6d. The dial shows S.R. 10943, the fusee movement has just been cle aned and overhauled so will be ready to hang up and use straight away. The Southern Railway clock records show that this clock was located at, Wimbledon Engineers laboratory. Complete with pendulum and key, overall measurement 10.5' diameter x 5.5' deep.
Shedplate 40B IMMINGHAM 1950-1973 although this plate would have originated from one of the early diesel allocations due to it having drilled and countersunk mounting holes. In totally ex loco condition and with casting number on the face. Not common in this form.

LNER cast brass 9x5 works numberplate 61456 Built Darlington 1923 Ex Raven B16 4-6-0, brass numbering strip 61456 with original number 1456 ground off but clearly visible. Sheds included 50B Neville Hill, 52B Heaton, 50C Selby and 50A York North from where it was withdrawn in September 1960.
Nameplate GEORGE VANCOUVER ex Virgin Super Voyager Diesel Electric Class 221 No 221129. Named August 2002 and nameplates removed December 2007. Named after George Vancouver 1757-1798 the English explorer of the Pacific, British Columbia and Canada. I n ex loco condition. Measures 570mm x 740mm. Together with a cast aluminium VIRGIN nose cone badge 260mm x 250mm numbered 60379 and the original Perspex information panel re the origins of the person whom the train was named after. A nice set of 3 items.
Smokebox numberplate 7743 ex GWR 0-6-0 PT built by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow in 1930. Shedded at 87A Neath Court Sart and withdrawn from there in August 1959. Cut up at Swindon Works in January 1960. Face restored a long time ago.
London Underground enamel target/bullseye sign SWISS COTTAGE measuring 24in x 17.5in. In very good condition with one small face chip. A rarer pre-war version of these popular signs.

South African Railways class 12R brass cab side number plate 1878 12R. The last of the class of 46 Class 12 4-6-2 locomotives built by Beyer Peacock in 1921. All 46 Class 12 locomotives were eventually reboilered with Watson Standard no. 2 boilers an d reclassified to Class 12R. In the process, they were also equipped with Watson cabs with their distinctive slanted fronts to facilitate access to the firebox side stays. In Ex loco condition, measures 20.5in x 14.25in.

LSWR 3 aspect handlamp stamped LSWR 383 on the side and LSWR on the reducing cone. Complete with reflector and original sloped front reservoir, both stamped L&SWRY Co, and SR burner. The lamp is also stamped on the side WOKING No11. In very nice rest ored complete condition.

LNER engraved brass Locomotive worksplate No 1606 DONCASTER 1924 from the LNER A3 Class 4-6-2 No 2550 / 51 / 60051 built at Doncaster in 1924 and named BLINK BONNY after the horse which won the 1857 Derby & Oaks. The Loco was shedded at Gateshead and Darlington for most of its life and withdrawn from Gateshead in November 1964 and scrapped at Hughes Bolckow in 1965. Oval engraved brass with London & North Eastern Railway Co filled in, the back is stamped 51 & 2550 3 times. Face lightly cleaned.
Worksplate METROPOLITAN VICKERS 1955 from a Córas Iompair Éireann 001 / A Class locomotive that were manufactured by Metropolitan-Vickers at their Dukinfield Works in Manchester. Interestingly they were fitted with eight-cylinder two-stroke, port-con trolled Crossley engines. The 001 Class locomotive was the backbone of mainline passenger and freight train services on the Irish railway network for forty years from 1955 until the mid-1990s when they were replaced by the new 201 Class. Rectangualr cast brass measuring 18in x 5in and M.1882 stamped into the back. Face restored rear ex loco.
LNWR copper hide glue pot stamped LNWR MM LEWIS in the front and LEWIS on the top. An unusual item standing 6in tall.
