Diesel cabplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW 1958. This style of plate was used on the class 41 Warships D602 – D604 and class 22's D6300 – D6302. Diamond cast aluminium in as removed condition.
Great Western Railway Guards watch No 03228. In a nickel case with a Limit No2 Swiss made 15 jewel movement with top wind and top set. Dial enamelled GWR 03228. Rear of the case is machine engraved G.W.R. 0.03228 indicating this is a GWR post groupin g watch. In excellent working condition.
British Railways Western Region Guards watch No 004078. In a nickel case with a Limit No2 Swiss made 15 jewel movement with top wind and top set. Dial enamelled B.R.(W). 04078. Rear of the case is machine engraved B.R.(W). 04078. In excellent working condition.
West London Extension Railway Guards watch No 1. In a nickel case with a brass English fusee lever movement with key wind and key set marked Jno Walker 68 Cornhill & 230 regent St London. W.L.E.R 1 John Walker 68 Cornhill & 230 Regent St London enam elled onto the dial. Rear of case hand engraved WLER No1 although this is a little rubbed from use. In excellent working condition a watch of significant rarity probably dating from the opening of the line in May 1863.
North British Railway guards pocket watch by Elgin. In a Nickel Dennison case with an American Elgin 15 jewelled lever movement top wound and top set. Movement marked Elgin National Watch Co USA and stamped with the movement number 22374901 which ind icates a 1920 manufacturing date. Rear of case hand engraved N.B.R. 515. In excellent working condition.
London Midland & Scottish Railway 9 carat gold presentation watch. In a hallmarked Dennison case with a Swiss made 15 jewel movement with top wind and top set. Rear of the case is hand engraved Presented to Mr H. Nicholls by the staff of LMS Rly Good s Dept Kirkgate Station Wakefield July 1939. The case bears hallmarks for 375 (9 carat), Birmingham 1935/6. In full working condition complete with original box. What makes this watch really interesting is all the paperwork that is included with it, including his LMS certificate of Identity (Retired Staff) card, letters of appreciation from the LMS and a newspaper cutting from the Wakefield Express announcing his retirement and presentation of the watch.
Worksplate HUDSWELL CLARKE & CO LTD LEEDS BUILT BY ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD DARLINGTON No1830 1952 ex GWR/BR-W 0-6-0PT 8483. Sheds included Danygraig and Swansea East Dock, withdrawn in 1962 and cut up at Swindon Works the same year. Oval ca st brass, a rare worksplate.
BR(NE) enamel double royal poster board heading BRITISH RAILWAYS in full. Measures 27in x 5.75in and is in excellent condition.
M&GN copper oil signal box lamp stamped on the side M&G.N.J.R. HEMSBY. Complete with Sherwoods Duplex burner and glass chimney. Hemsby was a station between Martham and Great Ormesby which closed in 1959. Stands 16in tall and is in excellent conditio n.
GWR blue glass wine carafe, acid etched GWR roundel on the front. Stands 7in tall and is in very good condition.
London Transport target/bullseye enamel sign SHEPHERDS BUSH mounted in original bronze frame on MDF. Sign measures 44in x 36in and is in very good condition.
Shedplate 84D LEAMINGTON SPA 1950-1963 and PENZANCE 1963-1973. In ex loco condition.
North Eastern Railway enamel doorplate STATION MASTER. Measures 20in x 5.25in and is in excellent condition.
Preston & Wyre Railway 12in mahogany cased fusee railway clock. The mahogany case with eight piece surround has one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn, the later LMS oval brass numberplate 9095 is screwed onto the side. The rectangul ar plated fusee movement has shaped shoulders and pillars with central turned rings. The original dial is lettered MELLING P&WRY NO69 PRESTON. This important and rare survivor is featured on page 140 of The Railway Clock Book by the late I.P.Lyman. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.
GWR nameplate TORTWORTH COURT ex Churchward Saint 4-6-0 2955 built at Swindon in 1913. Allocated to 82F Weymouth, it was withdrawn in March 1950 and scrapped soon afterwards. Nicely restored on the face, rear original with clear stamp marks. This is the first time this nameplate has been available for sale at auction.

Totem BR(W) FF TIVERTON JUNCTION from the former GWR station on the line between Exeter and Taunton and junction for the Hemyock Branch, which closed in 1963, and Tiverton Branch, which closed in 1964. Virtually mint condition with just the black sur round painted.
Original watercolour of a Seascape with Pier by Frank H Mason. Similar landscape format to Mason's carriage print artworks. Signed by the artist. Framed and glazed with the art work measuring 21in x 6.5in.
British Transport Commission British railways free pass issued to G.W.STEWART 50, lion holding wheel to face. Looks like it was originally gilded so probably a gold free pass.

LBSCR 18in oak cased drop dial chisel bottom chain driven fusee railway clock. The oak chisel bottom case has one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass lock. The rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement is in good clean condition. The original dial repainted post 1948 is lettered JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 995B. The Southern clock records show that this clock was supplied by Grimshaw Baxter & Elliott Ltd to the London Brighton and South Coast Railway in 1902 at a cost of £7-5-od and spent all of its working life at Bexhill Central Booking Hall. A large and impressive timepiece in working condition complete with pendulum and key.
Nameplate SIR HENRY DOULTON 1820-1897 ex Electric DVT No 82134. Named at Euston Station in February 1997 by Michael Doulton to mark the centenary of Sir Henry's death. Sir Henry Doulton was the founder of the famous Stoke-On-Trent china company Royal Doulton. In ex loco condition.

GWR cast iron cabside 7223 ex 2-8-2 T built in 1934 at Swindon as a Collett rebuild from the 42xx Class. Allocations include 86E Severn Tunnel Junction and 87F Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and cut up at R.S.Hayes Bridgend in January 1965. Face restored, rear ex loco, has had a small crack repaired with body filler on the rear.
Totem BR(W) FF SOLIHULL from the former Great Western Railway station between Birmingham and Leamington Spa. In good condition with a small expertly repaired crease to the right hand side which doesn't affect the letters.
LNER GC pattern 3 aspect guards handlamp stamped in the side LNE-C 21682 and brass plated LNE-C 21682 BOLLINGTON. Complete with reservoir, burner, reflector and all glasses. A former Macclesfield, Bollington and Marple railway station which closed in 1970.
