London & North Western Railway cast iron fully titled gate notice dated 1st November 1883 Euston Station. Face nicely restored, rear original, measures 18in x 18in.
GNR(I) brass locomotive whistle, a type used on the Class S 4-4-0 locomotives, so could be from No 170 Errigal as it came from the same collection as the nameplate. Stands 15in tall. Together with a brass diesel air horn from an Irish locomotive.
London & South Western Railway silverplate sauce boat clearly marked LSWRY on the side and base marked Mappin & Webb London & Sheffield. In excellent condition.

Smokebox numberplate 5238 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0T. Built at Swindon in 1924. Allocations included Aberbeeg, Ebbw Junction and 87A Neath (Court Sart) from where it was withdrawn in January 1964. Scrapped at Cohens Morriston in July 1964. Face restore d.

BR(M) FF enamel doorplate GENTLEMEN measuring 18in x 3.5in. In good condition with one repaired chip.
LNWR mahogany cased 4.25in dial mantel railway clock. The ached top case with brass carry handle and brass feet is in excellent condition and has its original LNWR enamel numberplate 4553 fixed to the rear. The bottom of the case is also stamped 4553 . The case measures 9in tall x 7in wide x 5in deep. The enamelled convex dial is lettered L&NWR in a scroll style. The French manufactured pendulum movement by Japy Frere CIE is in good clean working condition. The LMSR clock records show this clock as being located at Euston Electrical Engineers Office, Superintendent Marine Engineer, Planning Officer Stoke, and Euston House. In full working condition complete with pendulum and key and original DR D.R.Parr sale paperwork dated 1991.
Nameplate GIRYAMA together with 2911 cast brass cabside numberplate and 2911 cast brass front numberplate. Ex East African Railways 29 class 2-8-2 oil burning steam locomotive built in 1952 by The North British Locomotive Company Glasgow. Named after one of the country's' ethnic groups that live on the north east coast of Kenya. All three plates have been nicely face restored.

Original oil painting on board Chee Dale by Carl Henderson GRA. Painted in 1994 the painting shows the down Midland Pullman passing Chee Dale near Buxton in the 1960's on its journey from St. Pancras to Manchester Central. The train would have passed this site at about 6pm and this is depicted by a late, low, intense sun which gives a golden glow to the sky and long shadows. Painting size is 39in x 25in and the frame size 43in x 29in. Included is a letter from the artist giving details of the painting, an article from the Yorkshire Post showing the painting on display at the 1996 GRA exhibition at the NRM and an artist review from Railway Magazine.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 2069 ex Dean 0-6-0 PT built at Wolverhampton in 1899. Allocations included 87G Carmarthen and 6C Birkenhead Mollington Street from where it was withdrawn in April 1959. Scrapped at Swindon Works in May 1960. In lightly f ace restored condition complete with class and boiler stampings in the rim.
Totem BR(M) FF WITTON from the former LNWR station for the Aston Villa Football Club ground between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. In very good condition.

Shedded mainly at Ferndale, Treherbert and Cardiff Canton. She was sent to Worcester as a stationary boi ler in 1956 and was then sent to Swindon in 1957 and cut up there. Oval cast brass complete with GWS Bill Peto full fact sheet.
BR(M) FF enamel sign W.C'S ARE AVAILABLE IN THE GENTLEMANS LAVATORIES AT THE OTHER END OF THIS PLATFORM. Measures 18in x 15in and is in very good condition with a few small chips. A very unusual sign, probably a one off.

Southern Railway enamel target sign HIGHAM from the former SECR station between Gravesend and Strood. Measures 27in long and is in very good ex station condition. A rare target that has never been sold at auction before.
Shedplate 34G Finsbury Park 1960-1973 with a sub-shed of Hornsey 1961-1971. Could have been carried by a Deltic as there is blue paint underneath the black.
BR(S) FF dark green enamel doorplate PRIVATE in good condition and measures 18in x 3.5in. Reputedly from Newport Station, Isle Of Wight.
MS&L 12in convex dial mahogany cased chain driven fusee railway clock. The mahogany case with a one piece turned surround has one side door and a bottom door. The rectangular plated movement with shaped shoulders and ringed pillars has chain drive to the fusee. The original convex dial is lettered I.Simmons, 9 St Anne's Sqe Manchester 216 and visible as ghosted writing is LNER 7400. A full account of this clocks restoration by DR D.R.Parr accompanies the lot as well as copies of the LNER records which show it was in use at Scawby and probably dates from around the opening in 1849. In working condition with pendulum and key. An important railway clock as there are few convex dial examples known to survive.
Nameplate HARTLEPOOL PIPE MILL ex BR Class 37 diesels 37507, 37718 and 37682. Named in 1987, transferred to 37718 in 1992 until 1996 and then transferred to 37682. In ex loco condition, complete with D.B.Schenker Authenticity Certificate.
