Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK & CO GORTON FOUNDRY 1881 MANCHESTER ex New South Wales Government Railways Class Z19 0-6-0 No1940 (originally 189 until 1924). Withdrawn and scrapped in 1969. Oval cast brass with face restored and rear lightly cleaned with 1 940 painted on.
LBSCR WW1 Railway Service badge fully titled BRIGHTON & SOUTH COAST RAILWAY and marked on the back J.A. Wylie London 4257. In good condition with one small chip to the enamel. Not common.
Welshpool & Llanfair Railway cast iron Axlebox cover lettered W & L Ry. 1902 PATENT AXLE BOX Co Ld WOOD'S PATENT. Face restored measures 7.5in x 6in. The W & L Railway opened a line from Welshpool to Llanfair Caereinion and was worked by the Cambrian Railways and then grouped into the GWR in 1923.
LNWR ground frame sign BLOOMFIELD JCT. Wood with cast iron letters, measures 39in x 12in. In very good condition. From the branch near Tipton.
Smokebox numberplate 92111 ex BR STD 9F 2-10-0 built at Crewe in 1956. Allocations included 14A Cricklewood East, 15A Wellingborough, 15C Leicester Midland, 16E Kirkby in Ashfield, 8C Speke Junction and 8H Birkenhead Mollington Street from where it w as withdrawn in October 1967. Scrapped in February 1968 at T.W. Ward Beighton. Face lightly restored, rear ex loco.

South Eastern Railway 14in mahogany cased English fusee railway clock probably supplied by John Carter of Cornhill London circa 1842.The case with a convex surround, one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn, has the SER numberplate 208 screwed to the side door. The back of the box is branded SER and stamped 208 SE. The dial is in restored condition and is lettered BR(S) JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 208 SE. The brass chain driven movement has rectangular plates which are stamped with the SER cartouche. The Southern Railway clock records show that this clock as being in use at The Booking Hall Marden Station. Complete with pendulum and key and original Dr D.R. Parr sheet detailing his restoration and provenance.

Great Eastern Railway Elkington silver plated Coffee Pot inscribed with GER DC and Batswing to the front base marked Elkington plate stands 9in tall, together with a Great Eastern Railway silver plated Condiment holder with central lift, centre marke d GER to front in mid-period script style, stands 8in tall. Both in very good condition.
Original oil painting of DUCHESS OF HAMILTON 6229 ON SHAP in LMS full crimson livery by Robert Nixon GRA. Painted on board and mounted in a frame, the painting measures 23.5in x 17.5in. In excellent condition.
Nameplate THE BURMA STAR ex BR Class 33 33202. These wooden nameplates were fitted to 33202 at Immingham TMD on 1st September 1999 – remarkably by a former Eastleigh fitter! This was prior to the loco appearing at the EWS Classic Traction event at th e East Lancs Railway a week later, the plates were removed after the EWS Old Oak Common open day over the weekend of the 5th/6th August 2000. In as removed condition.
Midland Railway Tail lamp brass plated Midland Railway Patent No 3192 Petroleum Lamp. Large red bullseye to front, smaller clear bullseye to rear. Also painted CWC to front. Complete with reservoir and burner. In original condition stands 13in tall.

Worksplate SUPER SENTINEL PATENT LOCO No 7701 ex 0-4-0T which was named NUTTY. One of three built by The Sentinel Waggon Works Ltd. in 1927 to 2 ft. 11 in. gauge for the London Brick Company at Farcett, Peterborough. It was named NUTTY after the driv er and fitter Nutty Rowell who kept the loco in service for 30 years. This plate was removed and given to the vendor in its early days of preservation and a replacement in better condition was put on the locomotive and stamped accordingly. Cast brass measuring 10in x 5.25in and in as removed condition with 5984 cast into the back.
Great Western Railway Hotels silverplate vegetable dish with cover, both marked clearly with GWR COA/HOTELS. Base marked Elkington Plate. In excellent condition measures 9in x 3in.
