Worksplate No2123 DARLINGTON 1950 ex Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 No43081. Spent all its life at 35A New England from where it was withdrawn in March 1965 and cut up in April 1965 at A. King & Sons Ltd Norwich. Oval engraved brass in as removed condition.

Midland Railway large silver medal; one side MIDLAND RAILWAY AMBULANCE with CoA, the other AWARDED TO C.R. CRUMP FOR FIRST AID RENDERED AT CHILDS HILL MAR 29th 1900. Hallmarked Sterling Silver Birmingham 1900 and weighs 75g. Measures 2in diameter, a rare award.
Nameplate JEROME K. JEROME ex BR Diesel Class 31 31423 / D5621 built by Brush Works as works number 221 and delivered to British Rail in June 1960 as D5621. Renumbered 31423 under the Tops Scheme and named Jerome K. Jerome at Bescot 06/05/90 by Radio West Midlands presenter Tony Butler, nameplates removed in February 1997. Scrapped 31/10/2009 by T.J. Thompson Stockton. The nameplate is basically ex loco but has had a neat weld repair.

In Good condition and appears to have all plates present including the hand coloured maps. A rare book.
New South Wales Railway Coach luggage rack, both chromed cast brass ends clearly show NSWR cast into the side. Complete with three brass rods attaching both ends. Ready to put up and use, it measures 15in deep x 11in tall x 31in wide. In very good co ndition.
Rhymney Railway 12in oak cased English fusee railway clock. The case with convex surround, 2 side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock, has PENRHIWFELIN pencilled inside twice and the GWR ivorine plate 2564 screwed to the left hand side. The d ial, in original condition, is lettered GWR and clearly visible is R.R. Co 130. The brass chain driven fusee movement with large A shaped plates has been cleaned. A lovely example of a Welsh pre grouping clock complete with pendulum and key. Penrhiwfelin Station was on a branch on the Rhymney Railway from Ystrad Mynach.

Locomotive whistle probably ex Schools class 4-4-0. Stamped BR A (Ashford) YM3. The whistle has a bottom flange fitting of the type used on the Schools but not on the N, N1, U, S15 classes etc, the Schools class whistles were mounted horizontally abo ve the firebox and in front of the cab whereas all the others are mounted vertically. Complete except for the operating lever, measures 13in tall and was acquired by the vendor from Ashford works in the 1960's. In ex railway condition.

Oval cast iron, face cleaned rear ex loco. One of only 6 locomotives built by Avonside for the GWR.

GWR Hotels silverplate salt pot with blue glass liner and complete with a GWR Hotels silverplate spoon. Both salt pot and spoon are marked Mappin & Webb and are in excellent condition.
Diesel cabplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM CARRIAGE & WAGON CO LTD SMETHWICK ENGLAND 1962 SERIAL No DEL 160 ex BR Class 33 diesel electric locomotive numbered 33204/D6589. Allocated to 73C Hither Green, Stewarts Lane and Eastleigh. Withdrawn in 1997 and cut up in 2002. Rectangular cast brass in as removed condition.
Great Western Railway oil lubricating pot from one of the Severn Tunnel steam pumps that were located at Sudbrook Pumping Station and supplied by Harvey & Co of Hayle Cornwall in 1887. Stamped GWR twice and with maker’s name Dewrance's Sight feed London, both sight feed glasses also etched GWR. A rare survivor from one of the most famous structures of the GWR. Photocopy of item in situ accompanies the lot. Measures 7in diameter at the base and stands 15in tall.
London and North Western Railway 8in mahogany cased English fusee railway clock. The case, with a turned surround and LNWR enamel numberplate 4933, also retains its original cast brass bezel. The dial, in original condition, is written L&N.W.R. PRESC OT CLOCK Co PRESCOT. The brass fusee movement has A shaped plates. A nice clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key.
BR(NE) FF enamel direction sign STATION with British Railways in totem and left facing arrow. Measures 21in x 10.5in and is in good condition except for some damage in the bottom left hand corner.
