BR enamel FF station sign CHURCH STRETTON from the former GWR & LNWR Joint station between Craven Arms and Shrewsbury. One of the earlier examples from the 1960's before BR changed to screen printing signs. Measures 32in x 5.25in and is in very good condition.

Shedplate 81D Reading 1950-1973 with sub sheds Basingstoke WR to 1950 and Henley On Thames to 1958. Face restored with clear Swindon casting and machining marks to edge and rear.

GWR pre-war Photochrom colour-tinted panel Carriage Panels x 2 TAVISTOCK, GUILDHALL SQUARE [DEVON] and CLOVELLY, FROM THE HARBOUR [DEVON] both views date from around 1895, framed and glazed with title mounts and in very good condition. Both measure 1 1.5in x 9.5in.

Smokebox numberplate 7251 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 T built at Swindon 1914 and originally numbered 4240. Allocated to 86A Ebbw Junction, 87F Llanelly, 86G Pontypool Road and 88J Aberdare from where it was withdrawn in January 1964. Scrapped at Swindon 3 months later. Lightly face restored.

Nameplate THE NATIONAL TRUST ex High Speed Train class 43 43169. Named 09/11/2005 and removed in 2018. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 59in x 10in. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways in aid of their nominated Charity and comes with an official certificate confirming the original owner.

Allocations included Boston, 35A New England and 35B Grantham from where it was withdrawn in August 1959. Oval engraved brass in lightly cleaned condition. Rear is stamped 4181 and 3532.

Great Central Railway 8 inch mahogany cased railway clock supplied by Seth Thomas of Connecticut America circa 1900. The original dial is lettered G.C.Ry No 1139. The Seth Thomas movement is of the marine type with twin going barrels and the clock ma y have been used in one of the companies ships before being housed in its ornately carved case. The case stands 15in tall x 20in wide and has a label attached to the rear Supplies & Contracts manager clock and watch section Doncaster 29th Feb 1968. The clock works intermittently so might benefit from a clean complete with key. An unusual clock.
British Railways/ Southern Region carriage board THE ROYAL WESSEX, white on green painted wood measuring 132in x 5in. The Royal Wessex was the principal early morning train from Dorset to Waterloo as was one of the 1951 Festival Of Britain trains to run with the early examples of BR MK1 coaches. In ex railway condition.
A pair of Southern Railway Crossing Gate lamps, cleaned and ready for repainting. In very good condition but lacking interiors. Each lamp measures 10in Diameter x 15in tall.

Nameplate FRINGFORD MANOR. Ex GWR 4-6-0 locomotive built Swindon in January 1939 and numbered 7814. First allocation was Westbury and in August 1950 shed allocation Plymouth Laira. In March 1959 shed allocation was Machynlleth for work over the forme r Cambrian lines but then moved to Didcot in May 1965 Final shed allocation was Gloucester Horton Road from where withdrawal took place in September 1965. Scrapped at Bird's, Long Marston. This is the left hand plate, stamped in the rear L7814. The original BR Swindon receipt accompanies.

Totem BR(S) FF ELMSTEAD WOODS from the former SECR station between Grove Park and Chislehurst. In very good condition.
Midland Railway 12 inch oak cased English fusee railway drop dial clock supplied by John Smiths or Rock of Derby circa mid 19 th century. The case with a eight piece turned convex moulded surround, spun brass bezel, two side doors and a bottom door s ecured by a brass lock and its LMS brass oval numberplate 15182 pinned to the drop. The original dial is lettered BR and would have been repainted in the late 1960's. The brass wire driven movement has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders and has been professionally cleaned and overhauled. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.
