Nameplate POST RESTANTE ex BR Diesel Class 47 47774 built by Brush Loughborough in 1964 as D1746. Subsequently numbered 47153, 47551 and 47774. Named at Crewe Diesel Depot in August 1993. Nameplates removed and the locomotive scrapped at Crewe in Mar ch 2006. Measures 73in x 9.75in and is in ex loco condition and comes complete with D. B. Cargo authenticity certificate.

Named in October 1998 and withdrawn in February 2007 due to fire damage and scra pped at Ron Hull Rotherham in June 2007. Measures 59in x 10in and is in ex loco condition.
Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON No2820/D535 1960 THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND ex BR Class 40 D298 40098. Allocations included Campden, Longsight, Crewe North, Rugby and withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor in April 1981. Scrapped at Swindon. Rectangular chromed brass in excellent condition.
BR enamel FF station sign CLIFTON JUNCTION from the former ELR and LYR station between Manchester and Bolton, one of the earlier examples from the 1960's before BR changed to screen printing. Measures 33in x 5in and is in very good condition with min or chipping.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 4644 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1943. Allocated to 84 Shrewsbury, 81A Old Oak Common, 82C Swindon, 83B Taunton. 87F Llanelly and 87J Fishguard Goodwick from where it was withdrawn in October 1963. Scrapp ed at Swindon later the same year. In nicely restored condition.
Shedplate 82B St Philips Marsh 1950-1964. Face restored, rear original, with clear Swindon casting and machining marks to rear and edge.
GWR 3 aspect pre grouping handlamp with single pie crust top stamped in the side and reducing cone GWR. Complete with rape oil fore and aft reservoir and all glasses. An uncommon GWR lamp.
A pair of carriage prints both from the LNER Post War Series. PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL by Kenneth Steel and BRAMHAM CROSS YORKSHIRE by Kenneth Steel. Both are framed and glazed in original type frames. Prints measure 20in x 10in.

Kent and East Sussex Railway Free Pass No21 issued to W. E. Mandelick Esq. Octagonal aluminium measuring 1.25in x 1.25in and in excellent condition. W. E. Mandelick was the secretary and business manager of the London Electric Railway.

Totem BR(S) FF ASH from the former Joint LSWR & SECR station between Guildford and Reading. A rare totem that has only appeared once before at auction and this is the same one. In excellent condition.
Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway 12 inch walnut cased English fusee railway clock supplied to the railway circa 1870 probably by John Agar of Bury. The walnut case with a one piece flat angled surround, spun brass bezel, one side door with the hinges stamped LYR and a bottom door secured by a brass catch is branded LYR three times and has an LMS brass numberplate 7938 pinned to it. The original dial which has been lightly restored is lettered L.Y.R. 1586. The brass wire driven fusee movement has rectangular plates. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key. A stunning and unusual LYR clock.

Smokebox numberplate 5209 ex GWR Churchward 2-8-0 T built at Swindon 1923. Allocated to 87F Llanelly, 87A Neath (court Art) and 86B Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in July 1965. Scrapped later the same year at Cashmores Newport. Lightly fac e restored.
GWR etched glass lamp tablet PORTLAND from the former Joint GWR and LSWR station closed in 1952. A rare survivor. Measures 16.5in x 3in and is in excellent condition.

Nameplate UNIVERSITY OF PLYMOUTH and with separate cast aluminium coat of arms badge ex High Speed Train class 43 43149. Named 28/02/2011 and removed in 2018. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 65.5in x 10in. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways in aid of their nominated Charity and comes with an official certificate confirming the original owner.

Great Eastern Railway 12 inch teak cased English fusee railway clock supplied to the railway circa 1890. The case with a one piece turned convex surround, cast brass bezel, one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass lock also retains its gree n baize lining to the front of the back box. The dial has been repainted post 1960 by the British Rail clock workshops at Doncaster with Arabic numerals and is lettered BR 942. The brass chain driven movement has rectangular plates which are stamped GER and also have a snailed finish applied as was common practice with Great Eastern clocks. The LNER clock records show that this clock as being last in use at Liverpool Street Station London, Supts Office No 16, Hamilton House. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.

The case measures 3in wide x 2.25in tall and is hallmarked Sheffield 1930 Sterling Silver. A truly historic item in excellent condition.

Face restored and neatly welded with engine and boiler class details clearly stamped in the rim.

GWR Brass drum railway clock with 3.5 inch enamelled dial GWR J.M. SKARRATT & CIE PARIS. Case hand engraved with the number 2464 and movement has the GWR modified winder fitted. In good working condition. Pre dates the Kays version and is much rarer.
