Shedplate 66A Polmadie 1950-1972. In ex loco condition with original green paint so probably off one of the sheds early diesel locomotives.
LNER Double Royal enamel posterboard heading measuring 27in x 6in. In good condition with a couple of chips.
Worksplate BEYER PEACOCK & CO LTD MANCHESTER 1931 6686 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT 8706. Allocated to 87K Swansea and 87F Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in July 1960 and scrapped at Swindon the following year. Oval cast brass, face restored, measur ing 9.75in x 5.5in.
GWR/ BR-W wooden platform indicator board, double sided, BIRMINGHAM YORK NEWCASTLE. Both sides in very good condition and measure 40in x 8.5in. Possibly ex Gloucester.
Southern Railway/ Southern Region carriage board WEAVERS DOWNS - HOLMES HILL. White on green painted wood complete with metal ends, measures 24in x 3in. In ex railway condition and a rare survivor from the now closed Longmoor Military Railway Branch.
LMS official drawings of signals 1-378 in two volumes measuring 10in x 8in and dated between 1936-1937. Mostly original pencil drawings with dimensions, construction materials cost, etc. They cover a lot of the country including The Severn and Wye, C arlisle to the North and Watford to the South. A truly historical record for both the signalling historian and modeller.
Smokebox numberplate 7423 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1937. Allocated to 86J Aberdare from where it was withdrawn in July 1964 and scrapped at Birds Morriston later the same year. Face restored.
GWR enamel lamp tablet DILTON MARSH from the former GWR halt between Westbury and Warminster. In good condition with a few small chips. Measures 36in x 6in.
Wagon plate SE&CR ASHFORD WORKS 11894. Ex 25 ton brake van built in 1918 and renumbered in SR days 55458. Oval cast iron in original condition with rear of plate painted DS 55458 which shows it ended up in the departmental Stock pool. Not common.
Nameplate READING PANEL SIGNAL BOX 1965 - 2010 ex High Speed Train class 43 43142. Named 31/08/2011 and removed in 2018. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 67in x 12in. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways in aid of their nominated Char ity and comes with an official certificate confirming the original owner.
MGWR Tyers brass cased Distant Signal Repeater, ex MGWR Dublin to Galway line. In excellent ex railway condition stands 7in tall.
GWR signal lead 4 FROM WORCESTER HOME. Measures 5in long and still retains most of its black wax infill. In ex box condition.
Nameplate QUENTIN DURWARD ex GWR Saint 4-6-0 2979. Originally built in 1905 as a 4-4-2 numbered 179 and named Magnet. It was renamed Quentin Durward in March 1907 and then rebuilt as a 4-6-0 in August 1912. Allocations were Bristol Bath Road, 86A New port Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn in January 1951. In restored condition.
Totem BR(S) FF QUEENS ROAD BATTERSEA from the former LSWR station between Waterloo and Clapham Junction. In excellent condition with minor edge chipping.
Great Northern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased English fusee railway clock supplied by John Smiths of Derby circa 1890. The case with a single piece turned convex surround, cast brass bezel, two side doors and a bottom door secured by a brass lock. Th e original dial is lettered LNER 9245 and also visible as ghosted writing is GNR 436 JOHN SMITH & SONS MIDLAND CLOCK WORKS QUEEN STREET DERBY. The brass wire driven movement has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders and has been professionally cleaned and overhauled. The LNER clock records show that this clock as being last in use at Awsworth and was GNR clock no 436. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key and DR D.R. Parr sheet detailing the clocks provenance and restoration and a copy of the LNER clock record.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 6306 ex Churchward 2-6-0 built at Swindon in 1920. Allocated to Kidderminster, Worcester, 82B St Philips Marsh, 87H Neyland and 84J Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn in November 1961. Scrapped 3 months later at Sw indon Works. Face restored with engine and boiler class details clearly stamped in the rim.
Shedplate 87K Swansea Victoria 1950-1959 with sub sheds Gurnos, Llandovery and Upper Bank until 1957. Face restored, rear lightly cleaned.
LBSCR 3 Aspect handlamp, stamped LB&SCR in the reducing cone and side, and 1908 WN in the side and on the handle. Complete with all glasses, reservoir and SR burner. In nicely restored condition.

Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Railway Free Pass No21 issued to W. E. Mandelick Esq. Rectangular aluminium measuring 1.5in x 0.75in and in excellent condition. W. E. Mandelick was the secretary and business manager of the London Electric Railway.

Both in very good condition.
Shedplate 82C SWINDON 1950-1973; with sub sheds ANDOVER JUNCTION to 1952, CHIPPENHAM to 1964, MALMESBURY to 1951 and MARLBOROUGH to 1961. Face restored rear with correct Swindon casting marks.
Nameplate VICTIM SUPPORT ex BR Diesel Class 47 47787 built at Brush Loughborough in 1964 as D1757. Subsequently numbered 47163, 47610, 47823 and 47787. Named at Victoria Station by HRH The Princess Royal in December 1994. Nameplates removed in March 2002. Measures 81in x 9.75in and is in ex loco condition and comes complete with badge and D. B. Cargo certificate for the badge.
Worksplate ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD NEWCASTLE WORKS 7547 1950 ex BR-W Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT 9410. Allocated initially to 88C Barry and 81D Reading in 1950 then in 1951 to 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in July 1962. Scrapped la ter the same year at Cashmores Newport. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 13in x 8.5in.
GWR silverplate items x2 to include; GWR Hotels Nibbles Dish marked to the front GWR Hotels in roundel and base marked Elkington Plate, date coded 1937 and measures 4.5in diameter. Together with a GWR Hotels Match Striker marked to the front Great We stern Railway Hotels with twin shield (a little worn) and base marked Elkington Plate, date coded 1929 and stands 4in tall. Both in good condition.
Tyers single line chromed steel key token KESWICK NO2 - BRAITHWAITE, configuration A. Ex Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway which closed in 1966. In ex box condition.
LMS china serving dish marked GLENEAGLES HOTEL inside and base marked Cauldon England LMS Hotels. An ornate wavy edge pattern with gilding. Measures 11in x 8in and is in good condition with a small hairline crack.
Smokebox numberplate 6107 ex Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1931. Allocated to 82A Bristol Bath Road, 86G Pontypool Road, 86A Ebbw Junction, 83A Newton Abbot and 81D Reading from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and scrapped at Buttigiegs Newport in 1965. Face restored.
Totem BR(W) HF WELLINGTON SALOP from the former Great Western Railway station between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury. In good condition with a few areas of expert restoration in the top and bottom panels.
Caledonian Railway 13 oak cased English style fusee drop dial railway clock by Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach Germany. The case with a four piece turned convex surround, spun brass bezel, one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass t urn. The original dial which has been lightly restored reads Caledonian Rail Co. The brass wire driven fusee movement has rectangular plates and is stamped W&H SCH. A nice pre grouping Scottish clock in full working order complete with pendulum and key.
Nameplate BILL No 71 ex Hunslet 0-6-0 260 HP diesel shunter, works number 6286. Supplied new to NCB Wath Main Colliery. Rectangular cast brass with face restored. Measures 25.5in x 5.5in.
GWR Gangers occupation key instrument complete with brass Gangers key lettered POSSESION OF THIS KEY AUTHORISES GANGER TO OCCUPY THIS LINE BETWEEN TALERDDIG - CAERSWS. Instrument is in nicely restored condition.

Nameplate YORKSHIRE FORWARD ex BR/GNER Eurostar Class 373 EMU 373305 built by GEC Alstom Belgium. Under GER ownership it worked on the White Rose Service from London Kings Cross to York and Leeds. Measures 73in x 8in and is in ex loco condition.

Totem BR(NE) FF BEL SCORTON from the former North Eastern Railway station between Richmond and Darlington. In good condition, a rare totem that last appeared at auction 13 years ago.
Midland and Great Northern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased English fusee railway clock supplied by John Smiths of Derby circa 1890.The case with an eight piece turned convex surround, spun brass bezel, two side doors and a bottom door secured by a bra ss catch. The original dial has been lightly restored and is lettered M&GN 11598 also visible as ghosted writing is SUTTON BRIDGE JUNCTION SIGNAL BOX. The brass wire driven movement has rectangular plates and has just been professionally cleaned and overhauled. The LNER clock records show that this clock as being last in use at Sutton Bridge Station Booking Hall and was sold to Clerk Bone from Long Sutton Station on the 20th May 1965 a scan from the LNER clock register is with the clock confirming this. The M&GN clocks are the only railway clocks that had the original location painted on the dial and seldom appear for sale. A rare clock complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.
