Great Western Railway brass drum clock with 3.5in enamelled dial hand painted GWR. The case is stamped 5665 and the movement is marked Made In France and has had a GWR modified winder fitted. In good working condition.

Nameplate STAR OF THE EAST ex BR class 47 47401. Built in 1962 by Brush Traction Loughborough in February 1965 as works number 342 and numbered D1500, named at Immingham TMD in May 1991 nameplates removed June 1992 and transferred to 37421 for around a month. Locomotive now preserved at Midland Railway centre Butterley. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 59in x 9.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No25640 1945 ex Riddles WD 2-10-0 numbered WD No 3794, 73794, and then BR 90770 in December 1948. Shedded at 66B Motherwell all during it BR career and withdrawn from there 29th December 1962, scrapped at Darlington Works the following year. Diamond shaped cast brass, lightly face restored.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 6699 ex Collett 0-6-2 T built by Armstrong Whitworth in 1928. Shedded at 82C Swindon, 88A Radyr and 88A Cardiff Canton from where it was withdrawn in 1963. Scrapped the following year at Birds Risca. Face restored.

Smokebox numberplate 42055 ex Fairburn 2-6-2 T built at Derby in 1950. Shedded at Polmadie, Carstairs, Ardsley and withdrawn from 56F Low Moor in 1967. Scrapped the same year at Cashmore's Great Bridge. In as removed condition.

EWS 3 headed Beastie destined for a class 37 but not carried. Cast brass measures 25in x 15in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Carriage Print SAMUEL PEPYS AND THE FIRE OF LONDON, 1666... by Bill Sawyer from the LMR Historical Series of 1955. This series was a commission to four artists working for the Artist’s Partners Agency in London. In original type frame with the print measuring 20in x 10in and is in excellent condition.

GWR cast iron cabside 6146 ex Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1932. Shedded at 83C Exeter and 83B Taunton and withdrawn from there in 1962. Scrapped at Cashmore's Newport during 1964. Lightly face restored.

Nameplate WEST BURTON POWER STATION ex BR class 56 56028. Built by Electroputere as works number 777 in September 1977, named in September 1988 and name removed in February 1993. Locomotive was scrapped at Adtranz Crewe by MRJ Philips in September 19 98. Cast aluminium in ex loco condition with small cracks in a couple of the bolt holes, measures 97in x 9.75in. Sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

BR(NE) Quad Royal enamel poster board heading BRITISH RAILWAYS in full. Measures 50in x 6in and is in good condition with some chipping. Was used at Beverley Station Goods Depot.

Original watercolour painting MORSTON CHURCH, NORTH NORFOLK by R.E. Jordan. Produced in the 1950's as an artwork study for the British Railways Eastern Region Publicity Department. Painting measures 14in x 10in mounted in card and is in very good co ndition.

Southern Railway silverplate TOAST RACK and SUNDAE DISH, both marked Southern Railway and with the SR shipping flag. Toast Rack is base marked Elkington Plate and Sundae dish Walker & Hall. Both in very good condition.

GWR cast iron sign PASSENGERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CROSS THE RAILWAY EXCEPT BY MEANS OF THE BRIDGE. In restored condition, measures 43in x 18.5in.

GWR 3 aspect brass collar coppertop handlamp stamped in the side GWR V SWINDON and brass plated 988. Complete with correct copper skinned reservoir also stamped GWR V and GWR burner, front lens etched GWR. Nicely restored and complete with all glasse s. These are a lot rarer than the standard coppertop lamps.

South Eastern & Chatham Railway 12in dial oak cased drop dial railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement stamped in the back J.SMITH & SONS CLERKENWELL 1916. The dial and case have been restored a long time ago. In working condition and complete with pendulum stamped 1663 and key. The Southern Railway records show this clock as last being in use at Eastleigh Portable Plant Depot and previously at Dartford Inspectors Office.

Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways in aid of their no minated Charity and comes with an official GWR certificate of authenticity confirming the original owner.

Shedplate 56B Ardsley 1956-1965 and Healey Mills 1966-1967. Face restored with casting number in the front.

Steel cased with inte gral winding handle, measures 38in x 12in x 8in. In original working condition.

Hull and Barnsley Railway nickel cased pocket watch with A M Waltham Co key wound and key set movement 3381834 which dates the watch to late 1887. The rear of the case is engraved HBR 3161 41 which is very worn. The dial is free from chips and is in working condition. Complete with key.

Neath and Brecon Railway nickel cased pocket watch with American Waltham Watch Co 15 Jewel lever movement 9570902 which dates the watch to 1900. The dial is marked N&BR FATTORINI & SONS BRADFORD and is free from chips. The rear of the case is engrave d 17. In good working condition.

Southern Railway nickel cased pocket watch with Swiss Recta 15 Jewel movement. The case is engraved S.R 4084 with a couple of minor chips on the dial. In good working condition.

Vale Of Clwyd Railway nickel cased pocket watch with fully signed English fusee movement by DAVID GRIFFITH DENBIGH number 3309, key wound and key set. The dial is in excellent condition and enamelled VCR in English Gothic script. The rear of the case is engraved L&NWR A97 and also very faintly VCR. A rare watch from a very small company that was amalgamated into the LNWR in 1867. In working condition complete with key.

South Eastern Railway nickel cased pocket watch with Waltham lever movement 1240110 which dates the watch to late 1879. The case is engraved SER 3303 and the dial has one small chip. In good working condition.

Taff Vale Railway nickel cased pocket watch with Waltham lever movement 4936521 which dates the watch to 1891. The case is engraved TVR 121 and also TAFF VALE RAILWAY 264. The dial is free from chips and is in good working order.
