Worksplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY COWLAIRS WORKS 1918 4570 ex NBR Reid J37 0-6-0 originally numbered NBR 304 then 9304, 4570 and lastly 64570. Allocations included Polmont, Grangemouth and 62A Thornton Junction from where it was withdrawn in November 1966. Oval cast iron, lightly cleaned, measuring 9in x 5in.
Smokebox numberplate 44278 ex MR/LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1926. Allocations included Kettering, Rowsley, Coalville, Wellingborough, Toton and 16G Westhouses from where it was withdrawn in January 1966. Scrapped later the same year at Coh ens Kettering. Face restored.
BR-W brass cabside numberplate 9421 ex Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd in 1950. Allocated to 81B Slough for all of its working life and withdrawn from there in February 1962. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon W orks. Lightly face restored.
BR diesel depot plaque for TOTON ex Class 60 60090. Cast aluminium measuring 17.75in x 17.75in and is in as removed condition. Complete with DB Cargo (UK) Ltd certificate.
Diesel worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LTD LEEDS 204HP No 5303 1958. ex Standard gauge 0-6-0 with a Gardner 8L3 engine, Delivered to Dawdon colliery, NCB Durham division No 4 Area. Oval cast brass lightly face cleaned measuring 11.5in x 8in.
Nameplate WOLVERHAMPTON STEEL TERMINAL ex BR class 56 56069. Built at BREL Doncaster in December 1979, named in July 1998 and name removed in January 2001. Locomotive transferred to France September 2004 scrapped at EMR Kingsbury in September 2012. C ast aluminium in ex loco condition measures 61in x 20in. In as removed condition, sold on behalf of DB Cargo (UK) Ltd and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
London Transport enamel underground sign BAKERLOO LINE with right facing arrow. Complete with original bronze frame measuring 20in x 15in, in excellent condition with one small chip.

North Eastern Railway 10in oak cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement supplied by Potts & Sons of Leeds circa 1880. The movement has shaped shoulders and cut out to the bottom has recently had a new fusee wire fitted. The o riginal dial shows LNER 2704 which has worn off but also visible as ghosted writing is W. POTTS & SONS LEEDS NER 695. The case has two side doors and a bottom door. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in service at Darlington Bank Top Station Park Gate Cabin and was NER clock number 695. In good working condition complete with pendulum and key.
GWR brass Gangers Key with a configuration A key on the other end POSSESSION OF THIS KEY AUTHORISES GANGER TO OCCUPY THE LINE BETWEEN LAMPETER - DERRY ORMOND. Measures 8in long.

Worksplate R&W HAWTHORN, LESLIE & CO LTD ENGINEERS NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE 3398 1920 ex TVR Cameron A Class 0-6-2 T originally numbered by the Taff Vale 162 and 383 by the GWR. Allocated to Cardiff Cathays and 88E Abercynon from where it was withdr awn in August 1957 and scrapped. Oval cast brass measuring 6in x 4in. Face restored with 383 stamped in the back.
Great Northern Railway 3 Aspect handlamp, large double pie crust type. Stamped in the reducing cone and side GNR 4207 and brass plated GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY BABBINGTON JUNCTION No4 and steel plated with a relocation plate DERBY ROAD (Ipswich area). Complete with LNER reservoir, burner, reflector and all glasses intact. In ex railway condition.

Rectangular cast brass measuring 12in x 5.5in and reads 1200HP C0-BO DIESEL-ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE etc METROPOLITAN VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO LTD TRAFFORD PARK MANCHESTER 17 ENGLAND. These were located in both cabs of the locomotives so only 40 plates were produced for this class. In as removed condition.
GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 3642 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1939. Sheds included Carmarthen, Llanelly, Duffryn Yard and 87A Neath (Court Sart) from where it was withdrawn in April 1965. Scrapped later the same year at R. S. Hay es/Birds Bridgend. Face restored .

Ex 4-wheeled DH 230Hp Pacer Class 143 Light Weight Diesel Multiple Unit 2-car sets numbered 143601 to 143625, AB numbers 669 to 718/1985 to 1986. Bodies were b uilt by Walter Alexander of Falkirk and the Underframes by AB. In ex loco condition with traces of original blue. Measures 10in x 8in.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 3183 ex Churchward 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1907. A long time 86E Severn Tunnel Junction loco and withdrawn from there in October 1957. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored with Boiler and Clas s details clearly stamped in the front rim.

Allocated initially to 87F Llanelly and 81C Southall in 1957 then in 1958 to 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in August 1963, s crapped later the same year at Swindon works. Oval cast brass, lightly face cleaned, measures 13in x 8.5in.
Carriage Print INGLETON VILLAGE, YORKSHIRE by Frank Sherwin from the LMR (B) Series, issued 1952. In original frame with safety glass. The print measures 25in x 10in and is in excellent condition. A rare print.
Bass Brewery enamel BEWARE OF THE TRAINS. Double sided measuring 24in x 14.5in. Both sides in very good condition. Ex Bass Brewery Railway Burton On Trent, this is the second one of a pair we had.
Totem BR(M) FF CARNFORTH from the former LNWR, Midland and Furness Railway Joint station between Lancaster and Penrith. In good condition with slight mottling.
Shedplate cast aluminium 81A Old Oak Common as fitted to some of the early diesel hydraulics. In nicely restored condition.
Nameplate CITY OF MANCHESTER from ex- Great Central Railway Robinson designed 4-6-0 Class B2 (later B19) built at Gorton Works in 1913 and numbered GCR 425 then LNER 5425 and lastly LNER 1491. A class of just 6 locomotives, 5 named after cities serve d by the Great Central, the other being Sir Sam Fay. It was withdrawn from Immingham in July 1947 and cut up at Gorton Works the following month. The plate is lightly restored on the face and retains its ears. A very manageable plate measuring 62in x 5in.

GWR brass locomotive tenderplate GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY SWINDON WORKS 1967 JUNE 1915 3500 GALLONS. The plate has some shrapnel damage to the right hand bolt hole. Locos known to have suffered tender damage were 5325 in 1918 and Bowden Hall in 1940. Oval cast brass measuring 11in x 8in.

Great Western Railway 12in oak cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial has been repainted by the British Railways Western Region and was lettered BR-W this has subsequently been rubbed off but is visible as gh osted writing. The case is in excellent condition and retains its GWR ivorine numberplate 3686 on the left hand side. Also an official BR WR receipt dated September 1985 accompanies the clock, sadly with no location shown but the clock is known to have come from the Frome area. In working condition complete with pendulum and key.
