Worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE CO LIMITED BRISTOL 1660 1913 ex 0-4-0 T built to 2FT gauge and supplied to the Darnall Estate in Natal South Africa as locomotive number 9. Oval cast brass, face restored, measuring 10.75in x 6.5in.
Smokebox numberplate 64610 ex NBR Reid J37 0-6-0 built by North British Locomotive in 1920. Allocations included Eastfield, Grangemouth and 62C Dunfermline Upper from where it was withdrawn in February 1966. Scrapped later the same year at Campbells Airdrie. Lightly face restored.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 6008 ex Collett GWR King 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1928 and named King James II . Allocated to Laira and 84D Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn in June 1962 and scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored with Boiler and Class details stamped in the front rim.
Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON 3008/8260 1961 ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND ex British Railways Diesel Class 20 D8102/20102 which was allocated new to 65A Eastfield. Rectangular cast brass m easuring 10in x 4.5in, face lightly cleaned with traces of blue paint on the edges.
Nameplate WARDOUR CASTLE ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 numbered 5066. Built at Swindon in 1937, it was renamed Sir Felix Pole in 1956. Allocated to 81A Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped later the same year at Cas hmores Great Bridge. In nicely face restored condition, rear stamped R5066 indicating this is the right hand plate. Wardour Castle is in the County of Wiltshire near Tisbury and was partially destroyed in the English Civil War.
Pullman Type A brass table lamp stamped on the side of the base TC17. Car No.17 was a Parlour car with Kitchen built in the USA and assembled at Brighton by the LB&SCR in 1895 and originally named Duchess of York, renamed to TC17 in 1915. In good condition complete with original celluloid shade which has a few splits but displays well from one side stands 20in tall.
Totem BR(W) HF CARDIFF QUEEN STREET from the former Taff Vale and later Great Western Railway station between Cardiff Docks and Llandaff. In good condition with a couple of areas of well executed restoration.
Shedplate 71A Eastleigh 1950-1963 with sub sheds of Andover Junction, Fratton, Lymington, Winchester and Southampton Terminus. In lightly cleaned condition with the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast in the rear and clear casting marks around the numerals on the front.

LMS Hawkseye station sign RHYMNEY BRIDGE from the former London and North Western Railway station closed in 1958 on The Heads of the Valley Line between Dowlais Top and Nantybwch. In fair condition with some corrosion loss to the right hand end, but what a rare survivor.

Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COY LTD GLASGOW HYDE PARK WORKS No 23837 1929 ex Collett GWR 0-6-0 PT numbered 5719. Allocated to Stourbridge Junction and 84K Chester from where it was withdrawn in November 1958 and scrapped the following year at Swindon Works. Circular cast brass , face cleaned, measuring 7.75in diameter.

Totem BR(SC) FF BEATTOCK from the former Caledonian Railway station between Lockerbie and Carstairs. In good condition with a slight loss of shine.
Shedplate 5B Crewe South 1935-1967. Face restored and is a typical LMS Crewe casting.
BR Electric cabside numbers E3046 ex Class 82. The first of the class built by Beyer Peacock in 1960 as works number 1021/7884. Initially allocated to 9A Longsight and withdrawn in January 1971 due to a traction motor fire. The locomotive was scrappe d at BREL Crewe in June of the same year. The letter and numbers are totally ex loco and mounted on a wooden back board for display. Measures 33in x 7.5in.
Smokebox numberplate 61116 ex LNER Thompson B1 4-6-0 built by North British Locomotive in 1947. Allocations included Eastfield, Neasden, Leicester (G.C.), Woodford Halse and 66E Carstairs from where it was withdrawn in July 1966. Scrapped later the s ame year at Motherwell Machinery And Scrap. In as removed condition with a clean central break.

Carriage Print BEAULIEU ABBEY [HAMPSHIRE] by Donald Maxwell from the Original Southern Railway series, issued in 1936. In original type glazed frame, print measures 14in x 9in and is excellent condition.
GNR 3 Aspect small pattern double pie crust handlamp stamped on the reducing cone GNR AH/08 and GNR in the side of the body. Brass plated GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY TALLINGTON 1 and also steel plated BARTLOW. Complete and in nice original condition altho ugh the blue glass is cracked.

London and South Western Railway cast iron platform ticket machine complete with an original ID enamel LONDON & SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY PLATFORM TICKETS and also enamel makers plate BRITISH AUTOMATIC. The machine is in working condition and comes c omplete with key, penny coins and tickets. Believed to come from Bournemouth West. Stands 44in tall.
Nameplate RENOWN ex BR Class 50 built by English Electric in 1968 and originally numbered D429. Renumbered to 50029 in March 1974 and named without ceremony at Laira Depot in October 1978. The Locomotive was withdrawn in March 1991 and the nameplates removed and sent to Collectors Corner for sale. The locomotive is currently the subject of a long term restoration. Cast aluminium, in as removed condition, measures 33.25in x 9.75in and comes with British Railways Collectors Corner receipt.

Sheds included 86G Pontypool Road and 86J Aberdare from where it was withdrawn in May1962 scrapped later the same year at S windon works. Rectangular cast brass, lightly face cleaned, measures 8.25in x 5in.

Great Western Railway leather cashbag brass plated GWR BLAEN-RHONDDA. In very good condition, measures 12.5in x 8.5in.
Midland Railway mahogany cased Telegraph Test Instrument marked on the dial TELEGRAPH WORKS SILVERTOWN LONDON and stamped twice in the base MRCo. The Midland Railway test label inside is dated 11-4-11. An exceptionally rare instrument as used in the telegraph office to test the lines daily. In good condition, stands 12in tall.
Bristol and Exeter Railway 18in mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee clock supplied by Dell Brothers of Bristol circa 1860. The English wire driven fusee movement with large rectangular plates, turned ringed pillars and counter balance to minute hand is stamped 19637, as is the steel pendulum rod. The movement is fitted via a false plate to the dial. The mahogany trunk case with flame mahogany veneer to the front, two side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock, is nicely cleaned and restored. The GWR ivorine numberplate 2452 is secured to the front. The clock has been overhauled and serviced and is complete with pendulum and key. Its last known location in service was Bridgwater station. A rare and desirable clock.

Smokebox numberplate 58144 ex MR Johnson 2F-1 0-6-0 built by Dubbs & Co in 1875. Allocated to 17A Derby for most of its life and withdrawn in May 1960 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Face restored.
Cabside numberplate GWR 436 ex Brecon & Merthyr Railway 0-6-2 T, B&M No 50, GWR 1670 and 436. Withdrawn in 1954 from 86A Newport Ebbw Junction and scrapped. Cast iron. NOTE The worksplate from this loco was sold in our November 2018 Auction L ot 77.
Southern Railway enamel target station sign HALWILL from the former London and South Western Railway Junction station in North Cornwall between Okehampton and Bude. Part of the Withered Arm that closed in 1966. In good condition with a few small chip s, measures 25in x 13in.

Worksplate NASMYTH WILSON & CO LIMITED PATRICROFT MANCHESTER No 1288 1918 ex Robinson Rod 2-8-0 built for The Railway Operating Division and purchased by the GWR and numbered 3075. This locomotive was scrapped before 1930. Triangular cast brass w ith RO 2328 stamped in the back and 3075 painted on. Face restored measuring 13.75in x 5.25in.
Wagon Lits cast brass coach emblem as fixed onto the sides of all Wagon Lits coaches. In two separate parts, the outer garter reads CIE INTERNATIONALE DES WAGONS LITS ET DES GRANDS EXPRESS EUROPEENS. In nicely cleaned condition, it measures 32in x 24 in. Complete with original bill of sale dated 1980.
GWR brass signal lever leads x2; 4 DOWN MAIN TO LOOP etc and 21 DISC FOR No2. Both measure 10.75in long and come from the Cambrian section of the GWR.

Renumbered 55008 in 1974 and named The Green Howards at Darlington station by Brigad ier G. W. Eden, Colonel of the Regiment, on 30th September 1963. Withdrawn in December 1981 and scrapped the following year at Doncaster Works. Rectangular chromed brass in as removed condition. Measures 10in x 4.5in and comes with British Railways Rail Curios York letter of sale and till receipt dated May 15th 1981.
Nameplate and badge KENLEY ex SR Bulleid Battle Of Britain 4-6-2 built at Brighton in 1947 and initially numbered 21C168 then 34068 in 1948. Allocated to Ramsgate, Stewarts Lane and lastly 72B Salisbury from where it was withdrawn in December 1963. S crapped the following year at Eastleigh Works. The nameplate has been face restored and the badge, which was known to have been also carried by sister locomotive Sir Trafford Leigh Mallory, has been lightly cleaned. Named after RAF Kenley which was one of the three main fighter stations during The Battle Of Britain. A superb set.
