GWR/BR-W Tyers single line aluminium key token COOKHAM - BOURNE END. In ex railway condition.
GWR locomotive Whistles, a pair, complete with valves, levers, elbows and mounting plate. Tastefully mounted on a wooden display board. In excellent condition, the most complete set we have ever seen.
Nameplate GREAT WESTERN ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1946 and named Ogmore Castle and numbered 7007. Renamed in January 1948 to Great Western. Allocated to Stafford Road, Old Oak Common and 85A Worcester from where it was withdrawn in February 1963. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Great Bridge. In nicely restored condition and is the right hand side nameplate. See following Lot for the cabside numberplate.

Wagon plate MIDLAND RY CARRIAGE & WAGON CO LTD BUILDERS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND. Small sunburst pattern, cast iron, measures 8.5in x 7.5in. In very good face restored condition with no repairs.
Worksplate GREAT CENTRAL RLY BUILDERS GORTON WORKS MANCHESTER 1919 possibly from GCR 4-4-0 11F Director class No 506 Butler Henderson Later LNE D11 No 2660, BR62660 Now preserved or from a class 8M 2-8-0, 7 of these large boilered version of the 8K (ROD type Locos) were built in 1919, these were later reboilered to become 8k class (LNE 04/1 class) most surviving to the BR era in different rebuilt forms numbered 63911-63915.until the early 60s. Oval cast brass measuring 10.5in x 6.5in. Face restored with two repairs around the bolt holes, not visible from the front.

Diesel worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND No 3111/ D661 1961 ex BR Class 40 originally numbered D365 then 40165 in 1974. Allocated new to 64B Haymarket and withdrawn from there in July 1 981 and scrapped at BREL Doncaster in 1983. Rectangular chromed brass measures 10.25in x 4.5in. In as removed condition.
Southern Railway enamel target station sign MIDHURST from the former London Brighton & South Coast Railway station between Petersfield and Pulborough. Measures 26in long and is in good condition with a few chips. A rare target that has only appea red twice before at auction.
GWR cast iron sign PLEASE ADJUST YOUR DRESS BEFORE LEAVING. Nicely restored measures 15in x 9in.
North Eastern Railway mahogany cased 10 inch fusee clock lettered on the dial BR 5205 with original spun brass bezel and a chain driven English fusee movement stamped in the back plate NER. In recently overhauled working condition complete with pendu lum and key. The LNER clock records show it used at Morpeth Station Master's Office and then transferred to the Permanent Way Supervisors office at Thetford and was originally NER clock number 1206. Full Ian Lyman paperwork accompanies the lot, circa 1900.
Smokebox numberplate 3754 ex GWR Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1937. Allocations included Old Oak Common and withdrawn from 89A Shrewsbury in November 1965. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Great Bridge. Lightly face restored.

GWR cast iron signal box board RICH'S SIDING GROUND FRAME from the siding just outside Didcot on the Newbury line also known as Cotland Siding. In original condition measures 60in x 15in.
GWR post grouping Pocket Watch with Swiss Record 15 Jewel movement, top wound and set. Dial is marked RECORD and is free from chips and the rear of the case is machine engraved G.W.R. 02548. In excellent working condition complete with Albert and cha in.

Diesel worksplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE AND WAGON CO LTD SMETHWICK ENGLAND 1962 SERIAL No DEL 250 ex BR Class 27 originally numbered D5407 then 27114 in 1974 and then almost immediately to 27208 and lastly 27062. Originally allocat ed to 14A Cricklewood it was withdrawn from Eastfield in 1986 and scrapped 3 years later at Vic Berry Leicester. Rectangular chromed brass measuring 8in x 5.75in and is in very good condition.

Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee clock lettered on the original dial W. McFerran M.S. & L No 723 Manchester. With a large A frame chain driven English fusee movement in cleaned condition the Mahogany case has the original side flap door , bottom door secured with a ring pull catch and spun brass bezel. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
Smokebox numberplate 42145 ex Fairburn 2-6-4 T built at Derby in 1950. Allocated to Carstairs, Ardsley, Holbeck and 56F Low Moor from where it was withdrawn in September 1967. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Great Bridge. Face restored.

Carriage Print BRUGES via HARWICH from an original etching by Frank H Mason R.I. from the LNER original etching series issued in 1936. The print has its original mount and is in excellent condition and was a file copy, in an original type frame, prin t measures 20in x 10in
Worksplate LMS BUILT 1939 DERBY from a Johnson 4F 0-6-0 in the number range 44577-96 or a diesel 0-6-0 with Jackshaft drive in the number range 7080-9. Oval cast brass measures 10.25in x 6in. Together with an LMS 4000 GALLONS WATER CAPACITY tenderpla te which measures 10.25in x 6in. Both are face restored.
BR wooden carriage board SELBY - HULL. Measures 32.5in x 3.25in and is in very good ex railway condition complete with metal ends.

Original artwork for a British Railways Eastern Region poster that was never used, Early Morning Kersey Suffolk by Edward Walker. Watercolour on card and presented in a card mount. Art work measures 14in x 10in and is in excellent condition.
Totem BR(M) HF CHESTER CENTRAL from the former Great Western and London and North Western Railway Joint station between Crewe and Rhyl. In fair condition with slight loss of colour and shine and a few small chip repairs. This totem was the last to be removed from the station five years after the rest had been replaced.
Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 257 1960 ex British Railways Class 31 originally numbered D5657 and allocated to 31B March from new. Renumbered in 1974 to 31230. Oval cast aluminium measures 9.75in x 5.75in. Face lightly restored.
GWR brass cabside numberplate 4224 ex Churchward 2-8-0 T built at Swindon in 1913. Allocations included Newport Ebbw Junction, Barry, Cardiff Cathays and withdrawn from 86F Tondu in February 1959. Scrapped two months later at Swindon Works. Face ligh tly restored with Class details stamped in the rim.

Nameplate BRADFORD CITY ex LNER Gresley B17 4-6-0 built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd as works number 4130 in 1937 and numbered LNER 2868, LNER 1668 and lastly BR 61668. Allocated to Ipswich, Colchester and 30A Stratford and was the last of its class to be withdrawn in August 1960. Scrapped at Stratford Works. The plate and football are mounted on a wooden splasher painted in the clubs colours as presented by British Railway. This plate is being sold on behalf of the Bradford Railway Circle.
