A pair of GWR 1947 mahogany cased Double Line Block Instruments. Both are complete with flaps and push buttons. In ex railway condition and stand 16in tall.
Barry Railway Tenancy House numberplate No 59. These were used on the Barry Railway tied houses. Oval cast iron measures 3in x 1.75in. Nicely face restored.
Midland Railway oak cased 12in dial fusee Railway clock by John Smith & Sons of Derby. Circa 1870. The English chain driven fusee movement with rectangular plates shaped shoulders and turned pillars has been recently oiled. The original dial is w ritten John Smith & Sons Midland Clock Works Queen St Derby and the case has 2 side doors and a bottom door and is in good condition complete with the LMS brass oval numberplate LMS 10897 pinned onto the left hand side. A lovely clock in working condition, with pendulum and key.
Smokebox numberplate 44306 ex Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Crewe in 1926. Allocations included Barrow in Furness, Durran Hill (Carlisle) and 11A Carnforth from where it was withdrawn in November 1959. Scrapped the following year at Horwich Works. In as r emoved condition.
Worksplate BUILT SWINDON 1960 ex Riddles 9F 2-10-0 92217, one of the last steam locomotives to be built by British Railways. Face restored over original paint. Oval cast iron measures 10.5in x 6in.

Nameplate BROUGHTON CASTLE ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1935 and numbered 5033. Allocated to Stafford Road, Chester West, and 81F Oxford from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped the same year at Cashmore's Great B ridge. Stamped in the back R IN No 5033 Lot 296 indicitaing this is the right hand nameplate and the front has been lightly cleaned and the first time either side has appeared for sale. Broughton Castle is a moated and fortified manor house near Banbury Oxfordshire.

Single line staff ARMAGH - RICHHILL from the former Great Northern Railway Ireland section closed in 1957. Measures 23in long and is in fair condition.
Nameplate ATLAS ex 0-4-0 ST built by Hawthorn & Leslie as works number 2917 in 1912. Worked all its life at Hawthorn Leslie (Ship Builders) Ltd Hebburn and was scrapped by T. W. Ward Sheffield in October 1961. Rectangular cast brass measuring 25. 25in x 5.5in. Lightly face restored.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 6027 ex Collett King Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1930 and named King Richard I. Allocated to Laira, Old Oak Common and withdrawn from 84A Stafford Road in March 1962. Scrapped the following year at Cox & Danks Ol dbury. Partly face restored with 6027 R chalked on the back and engine details stamped in the rim.
Shedplate 88A Cardiff Cathays 1950-1957 with a sub shed of Radyr, Radyr 1957-1961, Cardiff Canton 1961-1963 with a sub shed of Cardiff East Dock until 1962. Restored with clear Swindon casting and machining marks to edge and rear.

LMS cast iron BRIDGE RESTRICTION sign fully titled, complete with three ton plate, from the Shropshire Union Canal section Chester, Face restored, measures 18in x 18in.
Great Western Railway 12 inch teak cased drop dial chisel bottom fusee railway clock with a large rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement. The one piece turned surround has had part of the top cut down and has one side door and a bottom door w ith the lock removed and replaced with a GWR ball bearing catch. The bezel, still with its wartime black finish, requires the hinge to be soldered back on. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 1192 is screwed to the front of the drop. The dial has been repainted BR-W post 1948 and has some areas of paint loss. A very early GWR clock supplied by John Walker of London circa 1860-1870. Requires some restoration but complete with pendulum and key and appears to be working.
Smokebox numberplate 1009 ex Hawksworth GWR County Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1945 and named County of Carmarthen. Allocated to Neyland, Bristol Bath Road and 82B St Phillips Marsh from where it was withdrawn in February 1963. Scrapped later the same year at Cashmores Newport. Face restored.

Nameplate KING UTHER ex LSWR King Arthur 4-6-0 built at Eastleigh in 1918 as the second of the class and numbered 737 and 30737 in 1949. Allocated to 71B Bournemouth for all of its working life and withdrawn in June 1956. Scrapped two months later at Eastleigh Works. Lightly face cleaned and stamped 737 in the back. Has escaped being face skimmed as many were.
BR-W copper cased signal lamp as used exclusively within the Seven Tunnel between Wales and England. Complete with interior and in excellent condition. A rare item.

Rectangular cast brass measuring 15in x 5.25in. Face r estored. Comes complete with photos and fact sheet compiled by the vendor.

LMS 8 inch oak cased railway clock with a Smiths Empire going barrel movement. The original dial is lettered LMS 16799. In nice working condition complete with key. Ex Silecroft station which was a former Furness Railway station.
Worksplate BUILT SWINDON 1959 ex British Railways Class 03 0-6-0 D2041. Oval cast iron measures 10.5in x 6in. Face restored over original paint. D2041 chalked onto the back with traces of BR blue and green paint.

Allocated to Carmarthen, Neyland, Llanelly, Llantrisant and 88B Radyr from where it was withdrawn in November 1963. Scrapped the following year at Swindon Works. In lightly cleaned condition.
