Shedplate 5A Crewe North 1950-1965. Face restored.
Worksplate RUSTON & HORNSBY LTD LINCOLN ENGLAND SIZE 165 CLASS DE No 395295 ex 0-4-0 DE numbered DE1 and used at British Steel Motherwell. The worksplate was removed in June 1972. Oval brass measuring 5.75in x 3.25in and is in as removed conditi on.
Carriage Print PETERBOROUGH CATHEDRAL by Fred Taylor from the LNER Pre-War Series. In original frame with original safety glass, the print measures 20in x 10in.
LSWR cast iron sign L&SWR PASSENGERS MUST CROSS LINE BY SUBWAY measuring 25.5in x 16in. In as removed condition, an uncommon sign.

Smokebox numberplate 9793 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1936. Allocated to Tyseley and 84J Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn in August 1963. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored.
Original oil painting on canvas by Barry Price of Coronation 4-6-2 46245 CITY OF LONDON ON THE CALEDONIAN passing Greskine signal box in the winter. Painting measures 23.5in x 18in and is nicely framed and in excellent condition.
Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock with a large rectangular plated chain driven fusee movement which at some time also drove a slave dial. The case has a four piece wooden surround, two side access doors that have been replaced and a bottom door with a lock, the GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 29 is screwed to the left hand side. The original dial has GWR in the roundel style and has had some light restoration. A nice example in restored working condition complete with pendulum and key circa 1880, two labels inside read restored by G.H. Tucker Dawlish 1976 and From Bodmin Rd Station Cornwall.

Worksplate NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY LTD GLASGOW No 25363 1944 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 originally numbered WD 78602 and later BR 90395. Allocations included Royston, Normanton, Wakefield, York and 52G Sunderland from where it was withdrawn in Nove mber 1966. Scrapped the following year at Drapers Hull. Diamond shaped cast brass, in as removed condition, measures 13.5in x 5.5in.
GWR cast iron bench Seat Ends a pair. Early script type with cut outs to the back supports. Ex Ruislip station and both in good solid original condition.

Nameplate LEIF ERIKSON ex Virgin super voyager numbered 221139 built by Bombardier in Bruges Belgium in 2002. Cast aluminium in as removed condition, measures 30.75in x 17.5in. Named after the Norse explorer from Iceland who was the first known Europ ean to have set foot on continental North America.

Midland & Great Northern Railway 10 inch oak cased going barrel railway clock, supplied to the M&GN by Aldred & Sons of Great Yarmouth circa 1910 and manufactured by Winterhalder & Hofmeier of Schwarzenbach Germany. The original dial displays BR(E) 11492 and Gt Yarmouth ghosted at the bottom, the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. In working order complete with pendulum and key. The LNER clock records show this clock as last used at Gayton Road Station Cabin.
Brass Cabside plate KPEV (Koniglich Preubische Eisenbahn-Verwaltung) Prussian State Railways depicting the Imperial Eagle. Measures 250mm diameter and has the correct recessed back has been cleaned. Note this is different to the other one offered in this sale and this version was originally chromed.
Smokebox numberplate 44039 ex Fowler 4F 0-6-0 built at Derby in 1925. Allocations included Nottingham, Sheffield, Manningham, Sowerby Bridge and 56A Wakefield from where it was withdrawn in June 1964 and scrapped later the same year. Lightly face cle aned.
Worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE CO BRISTOL 1421 1900 ex 0-6-0 ST originally built for and delivered to the Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway and named Pontyberem and numbered 2. The locomotive was sold in 1914 to Llewelyn (Nixon) Ltd, later Moun tain Ash Colliery, and numbered 11 in 1962. It was transferred to Penrikyber Colliery and was withdrawn around 1970 and is now preserved at Didcot.

Nameplate VENUS ex 0-4-0ST built by Hawthorn Leslie in 1918 as works number 3336. Spent all of its working life at Vickers-Armstrong Ltd Barrow, scrapped at T.W Ward Barrow in September 1962. In as removed condition measures 25.5in x 5in.
