Totem BR(S) FF CHARING CROSS from the famous South Eastern & Chatham Railway London terminus station. In excellent condition.
BR(S) enamel railway sign REFRESHMENT ROOM PLATFORMS 3 & 4. In very good condition with a couple of small areas of restoration and still mounted in its original wooden frame. Measures 39in x 14.5in.
Carriage Print EAST LINTON, EAST LOTHIAN, SCOTLAND by John E Aitken from the LNER Post-War Series, around 1948.A scarce print. In original type glazed frame, print measures 20in x 10in and is excellent condition.
Worksplate THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND No 3088/D638 1961 ex BR Diesel Class 40 originally numbered D342 then 40142. Allocated to 5A Crewe and withdrawn from HA Haymarket in April 1980. Scrap ped three years later at BREL Crewe. Rectangular chromed brass measuring 10in x 4.5in. Face restored.
Nameplate shield from Bullied Battle Of Britain light Pacific 4-6-2 LORD BEAVERBROOK built at Brighton in 1947 and numbered 21C154 and later 34054. Allocations included Stewarts Lane, Salisbury and 72A Exmouth Junction from where it was withdrawn in September 1964. Scrapped at Birds Bynea in 1965. The original surround has been lightly cleaned but still has traces of BR green and the steel retaining band in the back has suffered corrosion at the bottom. The back of the shield has Clapham Museum reference numbers painted on. Measures 28in x 21.75in.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 5666 ex Collett 0-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1926. Allocated to 88D Merthyr Tydfil for most of its working life and was withdrawn from there in July 1963. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Newport. Nicely face restored.
LNER FF enamel lamp tablet ABOYNE from the former Great North Of Scotland Railway station between Banchory and Ballater. Measures 16in x 5in and is in excellent condition with a couple of small edge chips.
GWR/BR-W Tyers No9 single line aluminium key token with a replaced end PENWITHERS JC - PERRANWELL, configuration B. In good condition.
GWR mahogany cased signal double slot repeater ivorine plated 80 and also stamped in the base MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO LTD. Stands 14.5in tall and is very good ex railway condition.
LNER FF enamel station direction sign LNER STATION with left facing arrow. Measures 21in x 10.5in and is in good condition with some restoration mainly on the left and right hand edges. A rare sign, predecessor to the British Railways ones.
Smokebox numberplate 92048 ex Riddles Class 9F 2-10-0 built at Crewe in 1955. Allocations included Wellingborough, Toton, Saltley, Rowsley, Warrington and Birkenhead from where it was withdrawn in September 1967. Scrapped the following year at T. W. Ward, Beighton. Nicely face restored.
British Railways locomotive DOUBLE ARROW large cabside emblem ex class 37. Cast aluminium measuring 27.5in long, face lightly cleaned rear has lots of mastic and yellow paint.
Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial fusee railway clock with a very early fusee movement with curved tops to the plates and ringed pillars and a steel rod pendulum. The case has a one piece wooden surround, two side access doors an d a bottom door with a lock (key missing) the bottom of the case has lost its original veneer and the GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 79 is screwed to the front of the drop. The original dial has GWR in block style and KAY & CO makers ghosted at the bottom. A superb example in excellent restored working condition complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1860, originates from Barry Goods yard signal box.

Worksplate GREAT NORTHERN RY CO MAKERS DONCASTER WORKS No 1339 1912 ex Ivatt 0-6-2 T originally numbered 1594, then 4594, 9474 and lastly 69474. Allocated to Bradford and 56B Ardsley from where it was withdrawn in March 1959 and scrapped at Doncaster Works. Oval engraved brass measuring 17.5in x 9.5in. Face lightly polished, rear stamped R 1594.
GWR machine engraved brass shelfplate CAMPDEN. In very good condition with original wax infill. Measures 4.75in x 1.5in.

GWR cast iron cabside numberplate 9793 ex Collett 0-6-0 PT built at Swindon in 1936. Allocations included Tyseley and 84J Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn in August 1963. Scrapped later the same year at Swindon Works. Face restored.
Shedplate 16B Peterborough Spital Bridge to 1950, Kirkby-in-Ashfield 1955-1963, Annesley 1963-1966 and Colwick 1966-1970. This is one of the LMS pattern plates. Lightly face restored.

Worksplate BUILT CREWE 1958 ex British Railways Class 08 0-6-0 Diesel Shunter 08476. Initially numbered D3591. Allocated to 26A Newton Heath and withdrawn in September 1985. Now preserved on the Swanage Railway. Oval cast iron measuring 10.5in x 6in and with 08476 chalked on the back.

Nameplate NELSON ex LMS Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 built at Derby in 1935 and numbered 5664 and later 45664. Allocations included Trafford Park, Canklow, Agecroft, Newton Heath, Warrington, Speke Junction and 55A Leeds Holbeck from where it was withdrawn in May 1965. Scrapped later the same year at Drapers Hull. Face restored and with 2 punch marks in the rear indicating this is the right hand nameplate.
LYR 3 Aspect handlamp stamped in the side and drum latch slide LYR. Also stamped BLACKBURN PERMANENT WAY DEPT. Complete with all glasses, reservoir and burner. In unrestored condition.
British Railways Southern Region signal box bell code notice dated 5th November 1959 for the section LAUNCESTON - PADSTOW. Lists Launceston, Egloskerry, Tresmeer, Otterham, Camelford, Delabole, Port Isaac Road, St. Kew Highway, Wadebridge and Padstow . A superb item in original frame of the last section of the Withered Arm. Measures 9in x 7in.
M&GN cast iron FIRE BUCKETS notice removed by the vendor from Wisbech St Mary goods shed. In good original condition measures 13in x 8.5in.

BR(W) signal box diagram WORCESTER SHRUB HILL JUNCTION. Full colour with light cut outs and dated 1966. In excellent condition measures 93in x 27.5in.

Original water colour painting for the LNER carriage print, TATTERSHALL LINCOLNSHIRE by Freda Marston. Signed by the artist, mounted framed and glazed, in excellent condition. The painting measures 21in x 8in.
LNWR steel and brass cased Signal Indicator with home signal arm, engraved LNW ELECTRICAL DEPT CREWE No4126 IND No1. Stands 10in tall complete with its original cast iron base. In ex railway condition.

South African Railways aluminium cabside numberplate 3220 23 ex 4-8-2 built by Henschel and Son of Kassel Germany as works number 24174 in 1938. Face restored.

Smokebox numberplate 5003 ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1927 and named Lulworth Castle. Allocated to Old Oak Common, Cardiff Canton, Taunton, Exeter, Swindon, Laira and 83A Newton Abbot from where it was withdrawn in August 1962. Sc rapped later the same year at Cashmores Newport. In restored condition.
GWR brass safety valve cover ex Pannier Tank ?. In excellent condition measuring 26in diameter at the base x 21in tall.
Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial displays the GWR roundel and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass turn. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 3676 is secured onto the right hand side of the case. In good working order complete with pendulum and key and a label showing that the clock was professionally overhauled in September 2018.
Worksplate LMS BUILT 1920 DERBY ex Fowler 481 Class 4-4-0 built to order number 4476 with 3250 Gallon Tenders. Locos built were LMS numbers 447, 452, 453, 454 and 456. These were not new builds but renewal of the Johnson 4-4-0 locomotives. Oval cast brass measures 10.5in x 6in. Face restored. Not common.
London Underground destination enamel sign; STH HARROW - INNER CIRCLE, STH KEN - ST ACTON, and another enamel PLEASE Q OTHER SIDE. All 3 items are in good condition.
LMS Hawkseye MELTON MOWBRAY from the former GN & LNWR Joint station between Market Harborough and Nottingham. Cast aluminium measures 63in x 18in. In good condition, only the second time at auction.
Great Western Railway platform sign WAITING ROOM. Double sided wood with cast iron letters, complete with original mounting brackets. In nicely restored condition measures 41in x 47in including brackets.
GWR Hotels art deco small Liqueur Glass, acid etched on the front with the GWR Hotels roundel. In excellent condition stands 4in tall. A rare style.
Nameplate COCKADE ex BR Diesel Hydraulic Warship Class 42 built at Swindon in 1959 and numbered D810. Allocated new to 83D Laira and later 83A Newton Abbot from where it was withdrawn in December 1972. Scrapped the following year at BREL Swindon. Cas t aluminium, face restored over original paint, rear lightly cleaned.
Totem BR(M) FF MARKET HARBOROUGH from the former LNW & MR joint Railway Station between East Langton and Desborough & Rothwell and the junction for Rugby and Stamford. In very good condition with a few small well executed repairs.
BR(M) enamels x2 consisting of; CONDITIONS OF TICKETS sign measuring 6in x 4in and with original label attached to the rear Bulwell Common, and a Railway Executive TRESPASS sign measuring 5in x 4in with original label attached to the rear Ilkeston Pa ssenger. Both are in very good condition and purchased by the vendor at the BR Derby Sale of Relics in the 1960's.
Nameplate JOE ex Hawthorn Leslie 0-4-0ST built in 1899 as works number 2431. Delivered new to J. Hill & Co Middlesbrough, it moved in 1914 to Sir Hedworth Williamson's lime works Ltd at Fulwell Sunderland as was then named Joe. It is thought that the nameplate may have been used on an earlier engine which was withdrawn in the same year as it is widely known that nameplates from earlier engines at this works were transferred. Cast brass with ornate ends, face restored measures 27in x 7.25in. The other nameplate from this locomotive is in the Doncaster Grammar School Museum.

Worksplate LNER 9x5 VULCAN FOUNDRY 4916 1943 ex Riddles WD 2-8-0 numbered 77100, loaned to the LNER and then shipped abroad in 1945. Returned to the LNER in 1946 and numbered 3104, then renumbered 63104 in 1948 and 90425 in 1949. Allocations included March and 36C Frodingham from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. Scrapped the following year at Central Wagon Co Ince, Wigan. Oval cast brass, in as removed condition, measures 9in x 5in.
