Allocated to 66A Polmadie and withdrawn from there in March 1971. Scrapped later th e same year at BREL Glasgow. Rectangular cast aluminium measuring 7.5in x 3.75in. Face cleaned.

Worksplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY DARLINGTON WORKS 1926 4705 ex Gresley J39 0-6-0 originally numbered 1454 then 4705 and lastly 64705. Allocations included Hull Dairycoates, Blaydon, Alnmouth, Wakefield and 56B Ardsley from where it was w ithdrawn in March 1962. Scrapped later the same year at Darlington Works. Oval cast brass with an extended curved lip at the rear to enable it to fit on the centre splasher of these locos. Measures 9in x 5in and has been restored.
LMS enamel sign LM&SR WARNING STOP - LOOK - LISTEN. KEEP THIS GATE CLOSED UNTIL THE FARTHER GATE IS OPENED etc. A rare sign from the North Wales area. Measures 27in x 20in and is in good condition with a few chips.

In nice lightly cleaned original condition.
M&GN cast iron SHUT THIS GATE notice measuring 39in x 3.5in. Together with a GNR GATE NOTICE measuring 40.5in x 3.75in. Both as removed by the vendor from Murrow East and in original condition.

Locomotive headboard ROYAL SCOT. This is one of the later examples that were introduced post 1961. Cast aluminium with letters fixed from the rear with small nuts and integral cast lamp bracket. In original condition. These were used on steam and som e of the early diesel hauled services.

British Railways locomotive DOUBLE ARROW large cabside emblem ex class 92. Cast aluminium measuring 27.5in long, in as removed condition complete with safety rivets.
Great Northern Railway 12 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement, supplied the GNR circa 1890. The original dial displays BR(E) 11697 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secur ed with a brass turn with the lock present. In working order complete with pendulum and keys. The LNER clock records show this clock as last used at Harlow Mill Booking Hall.

Allocated to Hornsey and 36A Doncaster from where it was withdrawn in August 195 7. Scrapped at Doncaster Works later the same year. Oval cast brass measuring 10.75in x 6.5in. Face restored.
Nameplate BURMINGTON GRANGE ex GWR Collett Grange 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1937 and numbered 6829. Allocated to Newton Abbot, Exeter, Ebbw Junction, Pontypool Road, Bristol Barrow Road and 85A Worcester from where it was withdrawn in November 1965. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Newport. In lightly cleaned condition and stamped 6829L in the back indicating this is the left hand plate.
Original artwork for a British Railways Eastern Region poster that was never used, Overy Staithe at Sunset by R.E.Jordan. Watercolour on card and presented in a card mount. Art work measures 14.5in x 10in and is in excellent condition.
