Great Western Railway cast iron UMBRELLA STAND cast with GWR initials at the bottom and complete with drip tray. In good condition with a wooden top. Measures 25in tall x 24.5in wide x 6.5in deep.
South Eastern Railway type locomotive whistle stamped into the top BR a ym3. Stands 11in tall as acquired from Eastleigh works.
Totem BR(SC) HF CROY from the former North British Railway station between Falkirk and Glasgow. In good condition with slight loss of shine and some staining. A rare totem that last appeared at auction 12 years ago.

Tenderplate BR5 231 1951 ex WD 2-8-0 90230. Allocated to Neville Hill, York, Wakefield, Ardsley and 51C West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn in May 1967. Scrapped later the same year at Drapers Hull. Rectangular cast iron measuring 8in x 5.75i n. Face restored.

Nameplate DARTMOUTH CASTLE ex Great Western Railway Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1925 and numbered 4088. Allocations included Laira, Newton Abbot, Stafford Road, Penzance, Old Oak Common, Worcester, Swindon and 82B Bristol St Philips Mars h from where it was withdrawn in November 1963. Scrapped the following year at Cohens Morriston. In lightly cleaned original condition and stamped in the back LOT 232 No6 L indicating this is the left hand plate.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 4008 ex Churchward Star 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1907 and named Royal Star. Allocated all its working life at Old Oak Common, it was withdrawn in June 1935 and scrapped. Face restored with clear Class and boiler stampin gs in the rim.

Carriage Print LOCH ETIVE, ARGYLL by Jack Merriott R.I., SMA from the Scottish Region series of 1956. In original type glazed frame, print measures 20in x 10in and is excellent condition.

Smokebox numberplate 44851 ex Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 built at Crewe in 1944. Allocated to Derby, Polmadie, Sheffield, Burton, Nottingham, Trafford Park and 9D Newton Heath from where it was withdrawn in March 1968. Scrapped later the same year at Cohe ns Kettering. In restored condition. NOTE it is also recorded as double heading the Royal Train to Kettering along with 44861.

Totem BR(S) FF WESTCOMBE PARK from the former South Eastern and Chatham Railway station between Greenwich and Woolwich. In excellent condition.
LNWR locomotive Jack, cast iron with CREWE LOCO DEPT cast into the sides. Also stamped into the side SIGNAL FITTING SHOP CREWE WORKS. Stands 15.5in tall.
GWR brass drum clock with original enamel dial GWR KAY & CO PARIS. Stamped 4302 on the case, movement and back. The French movement with key wind is in working condition. Dial measures 3.25in diameter and has a few hairline cracks but no chips or restoration.
BR(S) FF enamel railway sign PARCELS & LEFT LUGGAGE. Measures 24in x 18in and is in good condition with a couple of small areas of restoration.
GWR mahogany cased signal box telephone complete with original mouth and earpiece. In nicely cleaned condition.
Worksplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY 1947 61224 ex Thompson B1 4-6-0 built by NBL Glasgow. Allocated to Heaton, Darlington, York, Neville Hill and 56A Wakefield from where it was withdrawn in July 1966. Scrapped later the same year at Hessle wood’s Attercliffe. Oval cast iron with original number 1224 ground off and compete with brass renumbering strip. Has been cleaned, measures 9in x 5in.
British Railways Electric Class 85 cast aluminium double arrow and Class 86 cabside numbers E3. In as removed condition, mounted on a board 35.5in x 24in.

Original artwork for a LNER poster that was never used but similar to his Teesdale designs. Evening Glow Woodland Stream by Ernest Haslehurst. Watercolour on card measures 21 x 14in and is in excellent condition.

Worksplate BUILT 1954 CREWE from either a BR STD Class 9F 2-10-0 92000-92019 or a STD Class 7 Britannia 4-6-2 70045-70054. Oval cast iron measures 10.25in x 5.75in. Lightly face cleaned.
Nameplate WESTERN CHIEFTAIN together with its numberplate D1057. Ex British Railways Class 52 Diesel Hydraulic built at Crewe in 1963 and allocated to 83A Newton Abbot. Withdrawn in May 1976 from Laira and scrapped the following year at BREL Swindon. Nameplate is in original condition. The numberplate has been restored as when purchased from BR Collectors Corner the letter and numbers were missing. These have been replaced with ones cast and purchased from BREL Swindon.
Shedplate 88F Treherbert 1950-1967 with sub sheds Pwllyrhebog to 1951 and Ferndale to 1964. Face restored with clear Swindon casting marks to rear and edge.

LNER china Cathedral Plates a full set of 6 of the first series consisting of: Durham, Norwich, Peterborough, Ely, Lincoln and York. All are marked on the back LNER CATHEDRAL SERIES DESSERT PLATE AS SUPPLIED TO THE EMPRESS CATHERINE II OF RUSSIA by J osiah Wedgwood in 1774. All are in excellent condition measuring 9in diameter. Complete with an official LNER booklet about these plates.

LMS Hawkseye TILTON from the former GN & LNWR Joint station between Market Harborough and Nottingham. Cast aluminium measures 48in x 18in. In good condition, the first time one has appeared at auction.
Barry Railway Tenancy House numberplate No 612. These were used on the Barry Railway tied houses. Oval cast iron measures 3in x 1.75in. Nicely face restored. The Last of the collection we have been selling of these.

All bar one signed by the author and all numbered 7/100 and in excellent condition bar Volume 2 which has a small tape repair to the rear of the dust jacket. A chance to obtain all of these in one go as some are now out of print.
Smokebox numberplate 4105 ex GWR Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1935. Allocated to Oxford, Shrewsbury, Cardiff, St Philips Marsh, Newton Abbot, Exeter, Tyseley and 84C Banbury from where it was withdrawn in February 1964 and scrapped. Lightly cl eaned.
A pair of GWR No5 locomotive steel Tool Boxes. Both nicely restored and measure 19.5in x 8in x 10in. No5 tool boxes were made to fit Pannier Tanks.
London Midland & Scottish Railway (possibly LYR) 12 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a rectangular plated chain driven English fusee movement, supplied circa 1900. The original dial displays BR(E) 15913 and the case has one side door and a bottom door secured with a brass lock. In working order complete with pendulum and key. The LNER clock records show this clock as last used at Dewsbury Goods Market Place and that it was LMS clock number 6634.
