CLR Crosby Whistle Central London Railway locomotive Whistle marked CROSBY STEAM GAGE & VALVE CO BOSTON and complete with operating lever. Measures 1.75in diameter and 15in long. From one of the following 1903 stock units that were converted to s now & sleet units in 1939; ESL 109/110/115. This whistle was recovered from one of these in 1976.

Partly face restored, rear original.

Removed in April 1991 and fitted to Class 37 37431 at Immingham Depot in May 1991. Nameplates removed in April 1993. Rect angular cast aluminium in lightly cleaned condition measuring 45.5in x 9.75in.
LB&SCR 80 1910 ex 32080 Worksplate L.B.& S.C.R. BRIGHTON WORKS No80 1910 ex Marsh 4-4-2 T originally numbered LBSCR 80, then S.R. 2080 and lastly 32080. Allocations included Three Bridges and 75A Brighton from where it was withdrawn in March 1950. Scrapped the following month at Eastleigh Works. Oval engraved brass with 80R stamped in the front and R in the back indicating this is the right plate. In lightly cleaned condition, measures 16.25in x 9.5in.
IOM Teapot Isle Of Man Railway china Teapot with full Coat Of Arms to front and base marked Dunn Bennett & Co Burslem England. Complete with original metal spout and replacement lid. These were used in the Glen Wyllin refreshment rooms and very f ew pieces survive. Stands 5in tall.

Allocated to Doncaster, New England, Annesley, Woodford Halse, Sheffield Darnal and 39A Gorton from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and scrapped. Lozenge shaped engraved brass in as removed condition measuring 11.25in x 5.25in.

Allocated to Edge Hill, Bushbury, Crewe North, Camden and 12B Carlisle Upperby from where it was withdrawn in Ma y 1964. Scrapped later the same year at Connels Coatbridge. Curved cast brass, face restored, with two dot punch marks in the rear indicating this is the right hand plate.

Rectangular chromed brass in very good condition measuring 10in x 4.25in. The first of only 20 Class 40 locomotives manufactured by this builder.

The Devonian British Railways locomotive headboard THE DEVONIAN. In original condition measures 36in long. Has been repaired in service with two vertical welds and a steel strengthening bar at the back. It also has other headboard names cast into the back.
