Allocated new to 41A Tinsley and later on to Immingham. Withdrawn i n August 2005 and scrapped at Harry Needle Co at Crewe later the same year. Oval cast aluminium measuring 9.25in x 5.5in. Rectangular cast iron, face restored, measures 7.75in x 5.75in.

The other nameplate is in the National Collection.

GER 12in 2343 ex Hunstanton/King's Cross Great Eastern Railway 12 inch oak cased wall mounted fusee railway clock. The dial has been restored to GER style 2343. The English chain driven fusee movement is in overhauled condition. The carved oak case w ith bottom plinth and carved oak leaf and acorn decoration retains its original cast bezel. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. The LNER clock records show it last being in use at King's Cross staff dining rooms and previously at the GER Sandringham Hotel Hunstanton. A magnificent one off timepiece.

Herbert + Worksplate Avonside 1950 1924 Nameplate HERBERT together wits its matching worksplate AVONSIDE ENGINE Co LTD BRISTOL BUILT 1924 ENGINE no 1950. Ex 0-6-0ST with outside cylinders built to order 6005 and delivered new to Doncaster Amalgamated Collieries Ltd, Markham Main Colliery where it was named HERBERT, taken into NCB stock in January 1947 and transferred to Rossington Main Colliery in 1960 and finally scrapped in 1963. Nameplate is cast brass in as removed condition measures 33in x 6.25in and oval cast brass worksplate is face cleaned and measure 11in x 6.5in. A nice set complete with a couple of photographs of the locomotive.
