Worksplate LMS REBUILT 1921 DERBY most likely to be from a Midland Railway 3F 0-6-0 which were rebuilt with G7 boiler or a smaller number of Midland Railway 2P 4-4-0 that were rebuilt with G8AS boilers and in some cases larger cylinders and also 3 M idland compounds were also rebuilt with G9AS boilers that year. Oval cast brass face cleaned and rear has Pattern No4 cast into it measures 10.25in x 6in.
London Underground enamel sign HIGH TENSION DANGER LONDON TRANSPORT (ELECTRICITY DEPT) IN CASE OF EMERGENCY PHONE CONTROL ROOM FRE MANTLE 7000. Measures 15in x 10in and is in excellent condition. Rare to find one with the small telephone enamel.
South Eastern Railway Sykes Lock and Block Accepting Instrument complete with plunger. Dial painted 16 TO GRAVENEY CROSSING FROM HERNE BAY and brass ring marked W.R.SYKES. In good ex railway condition.
North Eastern Railway 12in oak cased drop dial railway clock with a chain driven fusee movement. Supplied to the NER circa 1880 probably by Reid & Sons of Newcastle. The dial has been repainted in the late 1960's by Eastern region clock workshops at Doncaster and now has Arabic numerals and B.R. 5880 and the case is in good condition. The LNER clock records confirm that clock No 5880 was last in use at Shildon YM & SM office and was previously NER clock no 252. A nice 19th century timepiece in working condition complete with pendulum and key.
Smokebox numberplate 35025 ex SR Bullied Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 built at Eastleigh in 1948 and named Brocklebank Line. Allocated to Nine Elms, Bournemouth and 72A Exmouth Junction from where it was withdrawn in September 1964. The locomotive is cu rrently in store at Sellindge Kent awaiting restoration. In as removed condition, complete with soot!

Nameplate PRINCESS ARTHUR OF CONNAUGHT ex LMS Stanier Princess Royal 4-6-2 built at Crewe in 1935 and numbered LMS 6207 and later BR 46207. Allocated to Crewe North, Camden, Rugby, Edge Hill and 1A Willesden from where it was withdrawn in November 19 61. Face restored and complete with a purpose built wooden splasher for display. A rare chance to obtain a nameplate from this class as only five have appeared publicly before.

Worksplate HUNSLET ENGINE Coy LEEDS No 541 1891 ex Quarry Hunslet, Alice Class 0-4-0 ST 1foot 10.75in gauge. Delivered new to Dinorwic Quarry Llanberis North Wales and originally called No 1 and later named Rough Pup, it worked on the Pen Garret leve l of the quarry. It left the quarry on 15th June 1968 and went to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum at Tywyn where it still is an is considered to be the most original condition Quarry Hunslet in existence. Oval hand engraved brass measures 9.5in x 6.75in in lightly cleaned condition stamped R in the back but also painted L ! so maybe it was fitted on both sides at some point.

GWR brass cabside numberplate 306 ex Taff Vale Railway Cameron A Class 0-6-2 T built by the Vulcan Foundry as works number 3496 in 1921 and numbered TVR 414 then GWR 404 and lastly GWR 306 around 1947. Allocated to 88C Barry for all its working life and withdrawn from there in April 1956 and scrapped. Face restored.

Worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE Co LTD LEEDS No 822 1903 ex Quarry Hunslet, Alice Class 0-4-0 ST 1foot 10.75in gauge. Delivered new to Dinorwic Quarry Llanberis North Wales and named Maid Marian, it worked on the Pen Garret level of the quarry. It left the quarry in 1967 and operated at the Bressingham Steam Museum from 1967 to 1971, before going to the Llanberis Lake Railway until 1975, and then to the Bala Lake Railway. Oval cast brass measures 11.5in x 8.25in lightly face restored.

Both badges one depicting the COA of Bath, the other the University measure 9in x 9in and are both in as removed condition. Come complete with an official certificate confirming the original owner. Worksplate LMS BUILT 1944 DERBY ex Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 numbered 4821 and later BR 44821. Allocations included Holbeck, Saltley, Kentish Town, Bangor, Holyhead, Shrewsbury and withdrawn from 5B Crewe South in June 1967. Scrapped later the same year at Cohens Kettering. Oval cast iron, in lightly cleaned condition, measures 10.5in x 6in.
Great Western Railway 12 inch mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee railway clock with a chain driven fusee movement with shaped shoulders and turned pillars, segmented wooden surround, two side access doors and a bottom door with the lock removed and replaced with a GWR ball bearing catch. The GWR ivorine clock numberplate GWR 215 is screwed to the front of the drop. The dial has been restored professionally with GWR in block style. A superb example in good working condition complete with pendulum and key and full Dr D.R.. Parr supply and restoration details as well as a letter stating this clock was from Culkerton on the Tetbury branch. Circa 1870 -1880 and supplied by Kay's of Worcester.
Smokebox numberplate 4144 ex GWR Collett 2-6-2 T built at Swindon in 1946. Allocated to Tondu and 86E Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn in June 1965. It is now part of The Great Western Societies Collection at Didcot. Face lightly cl eaned.
